Is it possible to get planned orders by checking the capacities

Dear experts,
Can u please help on the following case!
when we do MRP run for any material, planned orders are getting generated on the particular date as per our PIR. once we got the planned order, we are converting to production orders to the defined date.
Is it possible to get the production order dates by checking work centre capacities?
even if capacity is full, production orders are getting generated on the particular day,we are not able to produce the item as defined on the day as capacity is full on the workcentre.ultimately customer is not happy as dispatch is not taking place in time.
how will we configure this case in the system to enable timely dispatches or timely intimation to the customers for delay in dispatch?

Hi,
Yes it can be created.
Check strategy profile maintained for interactive planning in Production planning and detailed scheduling--global setting--maintain global parameters and defaults.
Now go to Production planning and detailed scheduling--global setting--maintain strategy profile.
For strategy profile maintained for interactive planning maintain scheduling offset in minutes with minus sign.
Means if you want to allow order to be scheduled maximum two days in past from todays date+time
Scheduling offset= -2880..
Then go to product veiw /SAPAPO/RRP3 and create order manually.
If you donot want to change configuration setting you can change strategy setting for product veiw interactively and save it for particular user.

I have similar problems trying to synchronize my calendar, also after update on 7.1.1. on my Iphone 5.
It doesn;t replace the outlook entries on Iphone 5.
I didn,t try to synchronize the contacts, because it may fail.

Get planned order number(PLNUM) or requirement number(RSNUM) of a BOM item

I have a material...viewing it at MD16..i can now see the stock/requirements list displayed in a tree. Now i have below hierarchy:
material 1       ----> has                planned order number
       material 2 ------> has           requirement number
             material 3 ------> has       planned order/requirement number
             material 4 ------> has       planned order/requirement number
material 5 ------> has       planned order
material 6 ------> has       planned order
using the planned order number of material 1 in the BOM, i was able to get the requirement number of material 2, what i want to know is how to get the requirement number of the next level under material 2...that is, the planned order/requirement number of material 3, material 4 ....

Before further discuusing your issue, can you tell us that is this the first time you are facing this issue, while running the MRP, or is it the first time the material is undergoing MRP run??
a) Has this material underwent any MRP run before?
b) what is procurement type? (though this is silly question to ask but...)
c) can you check the stock of the material for which you are doing MRP run. (coz MD03 is single item, single level)
d) MRP Type and lot size?
Rest all is already being suggested to you, like checking the planning file, if entry not maintained then please maintain the entry in planning file.

Planned Order Component check and Scheduling.

Current Process: MRP runs automatically over a finished product and creates a planned order. This planned order checks in-house prodcution time of the product and backward schedules the dates.
New Requirement: MRP runs automatically over finished product and creates a planned order. This planned order checks in-house production time and "component availability". If all components are available, then the planned order gets standard in-house production time. If a component is missing, then system checks the delivery date of the purchase requisition/ order and reschedules the planned order to acommadate for the late arrival of components.
How can this new requriement be achieved? Is it possible that when I check component availability of a planned order, system automaticall re-schedules the order?

Hi Srao, the concept of MRP is to schedule requirement dates and qty's based on the delivery date of the finished product. If any component is not available according to this scheduling, the system generates a reschedule proposal of e.g. an existing purchase req. or creates a new purchase req. or planned order.
MRP considers planned GR's on sub-level only if they fit the schedule. What u want is simply not the concept - sorry

Planned order availability check

The planned order generated is checking for the availability of raw materials .,
Im presently changing the planned order start date and finish date according to the commited date getting from availability check for components
The issue is the committed date is displaying when the raw material will be available ., this is fine
when there is stock for rm is available in rm stores it is not considering the stock, it is considering only the stock in wip store only(system showing a date according to the material planned delivery time , there is enough stock and no PR have been generated
help me in sorting out the issue

Hi anand
During MRP run . The BOM gets exploded and it will be based on your Strategy only.
If you use MTS 10 it will include stock, if it is 11 it will not include stock. If you use 20 it will not include stock during BOM explosion.
Availability check also depends according to your strategy.
That is why it not cosidering the stock and creating dependent requirement. On further conversion this will be converted to reservation.

When I create a Planned order using PDS, the Setup time is coming as 0.

We have been using PPMs for a long time, and now we are trying to migrate to PDS.
We are currently in SCM 7.0.
I successfully created the PDS in APO (using CIF from R/3). In the PDS (in APO), for a particular activity, I see the activity type is "S", and the Activity Duratiion (Fixed) is 43,200 Seconds.
However, when I create a planned order using this PDS, the activity time is zero (End time = Start Time).
When we use the PPM the setup time comes correctly.
Any help will be appreciated..

I have checked all that you have suggested, and it is okay. The issue still persists.
One thing that I noticed was that it is working fine in the old SCM 5.0 environment - the setup time is coming correctly in the planned order.
However, we have this issue in the new SCM 7.0 environment. Is there something that is different in SCM 7.0 in terms order explosion ?

Hi Everyone!I am a huge lurker and have learned so much from just reading the threads here over the last year and a half since I filed Chapter 13. I have worked diligently to clean up my reports and I really would like to get to 720 or higher at the 2-year mark of my BK (August 2015). Currently, my scores are:-Equifax FICO 8- 682Experian FICO 8- 652Transunion FICO 8- 650 I have a small real estate loan (land) that has an excellent payment history. I also have a secured credit card with a $1000 limit that I pay off in full every month and a Best Buy Store card with a balance of $2200 that I will pay off by the end of the month. Finally, I am a cosigner on a car loan that also has an excellent payment history (I needed the history and my Trustee would probably not be happy that I got a car loan without his permission but my job requires a car). I have resisted the urge to apply for any credit in the last 1 1/2 years in the hopes that by August 2015 all the inquiries would fall off my historyWhere do I go from here to hit the 720 mark? Am I wasting my time trrying to figure out what to do differently or do I just have to bide my time until my discharge in August 2017?Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks.You wait till you complete your plan and the Ch 13 falls off your reports at the 7 year mark. Every profile is different but I'll tell you that I am 26 months post discharge with the Ch 13 public record and dozen IIB accounts still reporting. They are set to fall off in April... sooner with early exclusion. Peak scores: EQ 700 January 2015 current 678TU 675 January 2015 current 673EX 687 July 2015 current 687 My scores have went up and down a bit with the new car I bought in January and new CC accounts opened in March. I don't believe it's possible to hit 720 with a public record AND multiple accounts reporting IIB. Scupra is 720s with a Ch 7 reporting... but all his IIB accounts have fallen off leaving just the public record reporting. The IIB accounts weigh down your score and IMHO you are forever stuck in the upper 600's till everything falls off. I could gain a few points if I had a bit lower UTI but most definitely not enough to put me in the 720+ range. If you are hoping for 720s I will say you are wasting your time. I've had just about as perfect a rebuild as you can get which was just enough to have me barely sniffing 700 on EQ back in January... 18+ months after discharge. Not even close to 700 yet with TU and EX. The few accounts that you have aren't going to get you anywhere near 720 and you aren't supposed to apply for new credit without trustee permission... but you knew that.

Possible to get filtered child information on the parent's browse screen?

We're writing a 'case management' system that revolves around an event in the workplace-- slip and fall, burned your lip on hot coffee in the kitchen, etc.
Related to a 'case' are people-- witnesses, investigators, etc. As you might imagine in the database structure the 'case' is the head of the octopus, with witness and investigator tables linked to it in a 1-to-many fashion.
Right now we're trying to craft a screen whereby we pass in a a 'Person' as a screen parameter-- and I don't mean the built-in 'Person' type from LS, but an entity of our own making. We would like to see on the screen all cases involving that person,
whether they're an investigator or witness or other. (The witness and investigator and other entities have related links to the Person entity, so for Investigator #342 you know who that is.)
On this screen we're working on, as one of the datasources, we have the Case table, and have selected the 'Edit Query' link to filter the listing of cases to only those involving our 'Person' parameter.
Here's where I'm getting a bit lost. In the filter screen itself I can easily craft something based on the fields in the Case table, but is it possible to filter based on related entities to the Case, like the Investigators or Witnesses? Maybe
I'm missing something obvious but I don't see any provision for child entity properties as filters.
I'm pretty sure we can do a workaround by creating multiple tabs on this screen, so that for a given person we can see individual tabs listing cases in which they're Investigators or Witnesses. But is it possible to list this all out without tabs?
Or at least without advanced stuff like getting creative with WCF RIA services?
In short, the question is this: can I list on one screen all cases involving a person no matter their role? Or do I need individual tabs for each role (Investigator, Witness, etc?)

Yes you can by creating a custom query on case. Use the PreProcess query event to filter the cases in code.
