The reason I ask is because my girlfriends credit card has all of a sudden starting getting purchases of gems from clash of clans, and it is upwards of $500+.
Her son plays the game on his iPhone (which is linked to her Apple id) and we like to think he wouldn't do it and we're just trying to eliminate all the possibilities.
so I would Like to know if it was possible that her Apple id was hacked and a seperate game started under her Apple ID and now the hacker is using the gems for their seperate (not her sons) game.
i Used to play the game myself so I have an understanding as to how it works and I thought that it was only one game per Apple id, so then if you have multiple devices on the same ID they all run the same game.

There can be only 1 account linked to the apple id/game center so if you receive messages saying that the money is spent on gems then your son could be accidentally purchasing gems

No. In order to have a book delivered to Germany you need to set iPhoto to the Gernamy Print Store in the iPhoto Preferences and use a credit card with a German billing address.

Is it possible to play Clash of Clans on an IPad and an IPhone but have 2 seperate games?

I have been playing clash of clans on the iPad for a while and my boyfriend wants to start one too on his iPhone - but they have the same Game Centre .. He downloaded the app and when it loaded it asked If he wanted to load the game from the IPad he pressed cancel and it began the game from scratch but if he continues will it erase my game? Or will it be separate and have no effect?

I'm not aware of anything specifically for the screen, but there is a general reset which may or may not help : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If that doesn't help then you could try restoring to your last backup or restoring back to factory defaults.
Do the parts of the screen where you having problems no work on any apps ? It may be a hardware issue with the iPad, in which case you may need to contact Apple.

One Game center account and password is belongs to one game. Apple id doesn't effect game center account. You can swich from one game to other by logging out from one game center account to another.

HT201272 Two Clash of Clans Games, 1 Apple ID - How do I get one game to a new iPad?

My son has two Clash of Clans games going on two different devices that are on the same Apple ID. One is on our iPad and one is on is iPod touch. We now have an iPad Mini and want to put the COC game from his iPod, which we have spent a lot of money on, onto the iPad mini, but it always reverts to putting the bad game that we have not spent any money on onto the new mini iPad. How can we put the one on his iPod on our iPad mini?
I have tried to back-up his iPod touch via our iTunes account and restore the mini iPad as a version of his iPod, but this did not work.
The GameCenter ID is the same on both devices. The only difference I can tell is that the GameCenter version on his iPod touch seems to be an older version. We cannot upgrade it though.
We have spent a lot of money on the COC version on his iPod, so we would prefer to put that game on our mini iPad or even on the older iPad if we could only delete it.
Does anyone have any idea on how to help? I have spent so much time trying to figure out how to fix it.

I just bought an ipod touch primarily for my daughter to use, and would like to communicate from my ipad to the ipod touch using facetime. However, both are under my apple id and apple account. Is there a way I can talk from one device to the other - if they are both owned by me but being used at different locations? Additionally I would like to have a different ID for my MAC if possible, so I can communicate by facetime with people at home if I am not there.

I cannot make in-app purchases - Clash of clans

I just bought a 25$ iTunes prepaid card, redeemed the card on my account all is good so far, then i open up my clash of clans game, and i click buy on a pack of gems for 19.99 and it keeps giving me this error.
"Your purchase could not be completed. Contact itunes store support to complete this transaction"
I have emailed them and still nothing, Anyone else have this issue?

I had the same problem with making in app purchases for Clash of Clans. An apple tech guy told me to go to expresslane.apple.com, click on itunes, then itunes store, then purchases billing redemption, then apple ID account billing, then United States, then click continue, and then click on Chat.
The rep I chatted with told me:
I appreciate your patience. I have made the necessary adjustments to your account. At this time I need you to sign out of your iTunes Store account, wait approximately 30 minutes, and then sign back in to the account. At that point, you should be able to purchase, download, make changes, and update your account normally.
I responded:
When you say "sign out" do you mean just sign out on my ipad, or do I sign out on my itunes software on my computer?

1.Tap Settings on the Home screen.
2.Tap iTunes & App Stores.
3.Tap on your Apple ID. (If you are not signed in, enter your Apple ID and password, and tap Sign In.)
4.sign out

The confusing thing was that the Clash of Clans error message just gave me a support website to go to and it wasn't clear at all what to do at this website. I couldn't even send an email there. Going to expresslane.apple.com as I detailed above and using the chat feature was obviously the advice I needed.

Since the ipad has dynamic moving backgrounds isn't it possible to have a slideshow background?

IIt should be possible to have a slide show background since Apple does support the format so I think if we somehow can find the format they used and chge a slideshow to that format we should be able to make slideshow backgrounds? I hope.

Hey Boxman, I'm guessing lack of interest. Think about it, once the novelty wears thin, just how much time would or do you really spend looking at your home page? Me personally, just enough to find the app I need and push the button. Besides, isn't the battery life on your iPod short enough for you? Dynamic backgrounds are one of the first things you turn off to conserve battery life! That said, it would be kinda cool, for a little while anyway.
