Is it possible to have copy to clipboard take entries in text boxes on a fillable form as well as the form fields in Adobe Reader Windows? When I create the forms is there some javascript or possibly a setting that would allow the end user to copy to clipboard the form fields and their entered text. Or another option that would work is to have only the entries in the text boxes copy to clipboard. Is that even possible?

Copying fields is not possible in Reader.

Quick answer: Select all the tracks on the album, File > get info, and either give them all a single "album artist", or check the "compilation" flag (as in https://discussions.apple.com/message/17670085).
If these are from multiple-CD sets you may also need to enter the appropriate information in the disc number fields. If they are not a multiple CD set you still need to make sure the disc number fields are set correctly or all empty.

Perhaps you are loading a template that has a text block already on it.
You might try the blank template option and set that as your go to template in your preferences

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored elsewhere in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by a reinstall, but make sure that you do not select to remove personal data if you uninstall Firefox.

Copying empty text boxes so that when you fill in one the others

I use Acrobat Professional 8. I size a blank text box... it's automatically labelled "Text1". I can copy the empty box by holding the Control key down and moving the box. Now I have 2 boxes. If I want to do 3 boxes, I repeat that action. The only problem is this: They all say "Text1" and if you fill in the first box, all the other boxes are filled in with the same information. Here is my question: How do I copy empty text boxes so that this doesn't happen; that is, how do I copy the boxes such that if I fill in the first box, all the other boxes remain empty until I go and fill them? Please. Thank you.

Somethings to try:
Give each of the replicated Text boxes a unique name (Text1, Text2, Text3, etc.)
Or, place Text1 then from the context menu select "Place Multiple Fields".
This replicates the first and provides a unique Name to each.
Position each field as desired.

I have developed a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro. The form has several fields and some of the information is captured in a bar code. What programs must be used to open the form to properly fill the form out? Adobe Reader, Adobe Xi, Ibook, etc.. I

I have created a fillable form using Adobe Acrobat Pro that contains several data fields with some feeding data to a barcode in the document. I have a "button" set up to save and send the completed form one it is completed. Some of the user are having troubles filling out the form as they are using various programs to do such as iBook, Adobe Reader, etc.... Sometimes the information is not transferred to the barcode and sometimes the "submittal button" doesn't function properly.
Please provide a solution or give me a list of the programs that must be used to properly open and fill out the form.

Best option is to use Adobe Reader (or Acrobat, of course) on a desktop computer (ie, not on a mobile device). Any other configuration is likely to be problematic.

How do I not have forms close after submitting the form?

I have created time card forms for our employees and embedded the code into our website. The employees are stating that they forms are closed and cannot go back into it. What am I doing wrong?

I changed all the forms (employee time-cards) and I thought it was fixed, but then I get all these calls from the employees and they said they couldn't get in because it was closed. It is still closing the form and not reloading. What if I select "Redirect to a new website"? What will that do?
I really need these to work immediately. I am having to reload (delete code and re-enter code) every few hours to the employees who are out in the field as we are a heating and Air conditioning company and they are on the road all the time; They need to submit their time card.
Also, they are submitting with their phones and these forms are not mobile friendly. How do I make them Mobile friendly. Is there a check box, I am missing?

Copy to Clipboard or email Rich Text

Hi all,
I'm running into a problem where I'm unable to preserve the
formatting of a text string when copying to the clipboard, or when
putting the string into the body of an email. What I've got is some
text inside of a RichTextEditor tag and I've got two buttons.
One button is used to send as an email (using a function that
uses the navigateToURL). When I send as an email, I'm putting the
text from the RichTextEditor into the BODY portion of the email.
However, when the email opens, all of the formatting is stripped
(line breaks, bold, italics, tabs). In the past I was able preserve
the line breaks by putting something in my mailto to preserve the
linebreaks. Unfortunately, I don't have the old code anymore and
can't remember what the heck I did.
Another to copy the text to the clipboard (using
setClipboard). When I copy the text string to the clipboard, it's
the same thing as the first button. All formatting is stripped.
Any help on what to do to preserve the formatting (at least
the line breaks) in both cases would be great.

Is it possible to have multiple bookmarks files or tabs with different content, like Bookmarks 1, Bookmarks 2 etc. inside the same profile?

I guess this is more like a new feature in Firefox. I work at home and would like to separate work related bookmarks in a separate bookmarks file which is as easily available like a standard bookmarks tab. I propose a possibility to add multiple bookmarks tabs in the menu bar. It would be nice if those tabs could be renamed at will...

You can organize them in a few main folders (Home, Work, etc.) to make it easier to distinguish the bookmarks.
You can also export the Bookmarks to an HTML file and make copies of that file with the needed bookmarks.<br />
You can open such a HTML file in a Firefox tab and middle-click a link to open that link in a new tab.

Possible to have E-Mail button pull address from text field?

I've added a button that will submit the form as a PDF to an e-mail address. Another field will pull the customer e-mail address from our system. Is there a way to merge the two to ensure the E-mail button set up will use the e-mail address pulled in?

It's a generic button, with the control type set to Submit.
Submit As is set to PDF, unfortunately submitting this as XML wouldnt be a viable option for the nature of how this will be used.
Submit to URL is -- mailto:CUSTOMER_EMAIL?subject=blahblahblah
CUSTOMER_EMAIL is the variable pulling data into the form, would like for this to populate as well into the mailto address.
I do apologize for the ambiguity on the first post! I can certainly attatch the form if need be and I greatly appreciate the help.

Is it possible to horizontally reverse a single character in a text box containing other text?

I have a client that wants every subhead to begin with a backward character throughout the entire book. 21 chapters, roughly 4 - 5 subheadings per chapter - the reversed character will always be an R in the same font. I don't know if there's a style setting I'm overlooking, but I would very much like to be able to define it as a character style. Much thanks in advance to anyone posting useful information!

I don't think it's possible to reverse just one character, but here is an interesting work-around. From jongware, (a frequent and helpful poster here), a script demo that you can use to make a single character font.
Download the One-Character Demo from http://www.jongware.com/binaries/indyfont_demo.zip, unpack and copy it into your User Scripts folder. Run the script once to set up a font template, draw your custom character -- the default is a bullet --, then run the script again to convert it to an OpenType font.
You would need to flip your letter R and convert it to outlines, then use the script to make it into a one-character font. You cant then set your subhead style to have bulleted (with your reverse R defined as the bullet).

In ID CS6, is it possible for a text box to retain its attributes when converted to a form field?

I would like my text form fields to retain Helvetica, 9pt., all caps? or do I have to make these changes in Adobe Acrobat? Any advice is appreciated.

You cannot specify a font in InDesign for a form field. You'll need to
do that in Acrobat.

hello. my ive been trying to restore my ipod touch 4th gen because it was frozen on the apple logo. i got it to go to the connect to itunes image. i plugged it into my computer to try and restore. i open itunes and it says "you must restore this ipod to use itunes". i click ok and then i accept the terms. after that it shows that it will take 41 mins to restore, but then it says "we connot restore this, there was a problem. it also says to check your network connections or try again" my network connetions are on and its still not working! please help
