Is it possible to have emtpy space in program that can "click through"?

I am writing a java program that would need me have a table look that I can click through the space in the square within the table, so I can click on the stuff on Windows desktop. Is it even possible with Java?

This is part of my school project.
I am working a program that is a table, and detect the color on the windows desktop area under each "hole", once the color change, the program would do something to show this "hole" has something change. I need to able to click in the "hole" as well, directly click the Windows area right under the Java. That's why I need to do "true" transparent for the "hole" area in the table.
Really hope someone knows how to do it.

I have an old Mac G4 that can only be upgraded to 10.4.11. I use Itunes 7 and I have a Classic Ipod that suddenly says it has been corrupted. If I upgrade the software to 2.3 on the Ipod will i be able to access it from the G4 or will I then have to upgrade the itunes on the G4, which I cannot? Does anyone have any suggestions besides getting a new computer?

I sued to love the shareware FinderPop under OS 9 and OS X mainly for the option of adding a control-click contextural menu item to quit a program when I was through with it.
I understand that contextural menus in Snow Leopard are now services, but what I cannot understand is if there is a relatively easy way to have a "quit" command available when I control-click?
If it matters, I am using a Magic Mouse.

With all of that said, who really cares why I would want to do this, the whole point f asking is that it makes my workflow fast as it has for over a decade and if possible I would love to keep that ongoing.
No offense, but most of the people I've encountered who are so married to an "efficient" workflow generally haven't tried many other options and aren't even aware that something might work better. I dunno, maybe you're the rare exception... but the fact that you expect to have a similar workflow under Mac OS X 10.6 that you did more than a decade ago suggests otherwise. Explore some alternate ways of doing things...
Regardless, as V.K. has pointed out, the way contextual menus work makes what you want to do rather unusual and difficult... they are contextual, not just some handy throw-everything-in-there menu that pops up whenever you hit a button.

I think there are two options for this. Unfortunately, neither option will gather details for every user.
Have your own Direct Entitlement server and control your user base yourself. In this case, you will have all user data and can extract their email addresses and send them email directly.
When a user buys an iTunes Subscription, they are prompted to “Allow publisher to see you personal data?” (or a similar phrase). In your Apple iTunes Connect there is a report that returns details on all subs who have pressed the “Allow” button. These user details include the users email address.

Have new satellite L500 laptop that can't connect to internet via a Ethernet cable

This laptop can connect to a wireless network but when we try to connect using the Ethernet cable we get a limited connection unknown network message.
I am getting all my information second hand from a niece I bought the laptop for who has it at university. She has had tech support out from the university and they say its a configuration issue on the laptop and not problem with the cable or connection.
I have read on some websites that Norton anti virus could be an issue? But I had removed this and installed Kapersky. Any ideas?

I am currently running a client copy in our sandbox using SCCL, and profile SAP_CUST
as the profile indicates it will bring only configuration including authorization profiles, will it bring all userids as well?
or will I have to provide access to the users that will be doing work in that new client
I know we can do SCCL using SAP_USER that should bring over only users, auth. etc., and not damage any existing data (configuration) that was brought over with SAP_CUST
is that a correct conclusion?

way.You're right. If you don't want that - or you can't rely on the behaviour of the second app - you have to start another VM in a separate process calling Runtime.exec().
If you only want to "use" the second app from the first one (and you have the sources) you can write a method like main() which do not call System.exit() at the end.

I am wondering if this is possible in DVDSP? I have setup the page like this, I have my menu's in place but can menu items be coded to play a movie sitting in a well on the left hand side of the screen? And while movie 1 was playing can the user still move the selection on the right up and down to change the movie?

The only way to do this is set up seperate motion menus. Each menu contains your individual videos while the text on the right is the same. From here you would set up hidden auto-activate buttons, which target the correct menu.
For example, pressing down from the # 1 button goes to a hidden button which is set to target the 2nd menu. basically all menus have 6 buttons - 3 are hidden.
The down side of all this, is that navigation will be clunky and slow since the laser must refocus to the new menu each time you travel between buttons. Same thing as layered menus in DVDSP but this uses motion menus. Also...No....you cannot toggle while having the video playing.
