Is it possible to have required buttons

I'm using Captivate 4. Need to create a project with several buttons on the same slide. The user can click any one of the buttons and in any order, but they must eventually click all of the buttons before completing the training. Each button jumps to a different slide. Once the user clicks a button to jump to another slide, they need to return to the slide that has multiple buttons and click another button, until they have eventually clicked each button on the multli-button slide.
I know how to set up the buttons and to create the button actions to navigate back and forth. What I need to know is how to make clicking on each and every button on the multi-button slide a requirement to pass the course. And is there a way to specify a specific amount of time the user has to spend viewing the slides that a button jumps themr to.

I would think you could accomplish this by configuring some variables. You would need one variable to store a total of the others. You would configure the other variables to store a zero initially, then a one when clicked. The buttons would trigger an advanced action that would set the variable to one, then check the tally. Perhaps reveal a hidden button after all buttons had been clicked. The buttons would simply jump to different slides. You wouldn't insert buttons on the slides so the user would be forced to view them in full.

I have an add row button that works correctly using addinstance, but I would like to have the add row button at the end of each row so a user could insert a row into the middle of existing/fiilled out rows. Yes, it is possible, but in effect what the script does is add a new row at the end of the table AND then move the row up to the approrpiate position.
See the examples here: http://assure.ly/gk8Q7a. Table 5 is a Table object, whereas Table 6 is built using subforms. In both cases the Index number is a button, that adds a row below the existing one clicked.

I've seen this done using LiveCycle but I'm an Acrobat Pro user. I need to have extra fields hidden and then have them visibile based on a reader clicking "add more".

Is it possible to have multiple pauses the require view to click "continue" button to proceed?

1. Turn the video into a symbol.
2. Set stage, symbol and video to not autoplay.
3. Set play in the video playback at the start of the video timeline.
4. Set pause in the video playback at the prefered time on symbol timeline.
Once I convert it to a symbol , the pause funtion is not showing on playback.
5. Zoom in as much as you can on symbol timeline and set trigger "stop all" for the symbol right after the pause playback marking.
6. Set play in the video playback right after the "stop all trigger" marking.
7. Create button with action play symbol.
You can now play a video which will stop at a pre set pause, and make it countinue to run by clicking the play button again.

How can I make easier case structure? Or can it possible to have one Pause and reset button in same structure.??

You would need to first create the form ( or Widget in EchoSign) first to generate a url which you can paste it in the email being sent to customers. You would need to make sure you have a Document Cloud Enterprise Premium account in order to create a Widget. If you don't have the account, you can use the trial version to test it. Livecycle Designer 8 - Is it possible to have button to clear fields after user has clicked submit by email button so user can reuse form to send another response with different answers?

Users will use form to fill in stats for enquiries so they want to keep form open, complete a form, click button to submit by email, then click another button to clear form, form now ready to accept form's responses. They dont' want to keep opening form each time form needs to be completed.

Thanks for your response, not sure what you mean by a loop. I put together
a draft form to show staff in our Knowledge Centre the sort of thing
Livecycle Designer can do.

They are currently writing out on form and manually putting into excel to
keep stats on the requests.
Due to current Global Financial Crisis my section does not want to spend
extra money at the moment seeking assistance from our tech heads. So we
are looking for least work no expense option for keeping stats. I am a PA
who just happens to have Livecycle program on my computer.
We use Lotus Notes so I thought the staff could save copy of Library
request form in the stationery folder. The staff using the form want to be
able to do the following:
1. open the Library request form at the beginning of the day;
2. when a request comes in, complete the form and click on Send by email
button
3. click on a Clear Data button to clear all data from all fields so the
form is open ready for when the next request comes in.
Staff are time poor and, as this is only one of their numerous duties, they
don't want to keep going to a location and opening a file which can be very
slow on some days
Each day form may be filled out by approximately 15 staff who may receive
anything from 0 - 4 requests a day.
I am not a tech head so script writing is a deep, dark mystery. Can you
help using the form above as an example for achieving step 3 above.

if i understand this correctly, you just want everything cleared whena
buttons is pressed?
you can either do it individually:
on button click:
mytextField.rawData=""
or do a loop, using child/paretns..

I have an external video playback in a website I'm making in Flash with actionscript 3. Is it possible to create a working fullscreen option for that video? I noticed some of the skins have fullscreen buttons but that don't actually work when you click on them. Ultimately I wanting to make my own fullscreen button but if the preset ones don't even work I'm wondering if it's even possible.

fullscreen skin buttons work. but make sure you're publishing for 'flash only - allow fullscreen' (file>publish settings>html>template)

Is it possible to have Dynamically changing list of Radio buttons ?

There is a list box which a list of values like 'State', 'City', etc.
When the user chooses a value in the list box, based on the value chosen say 'City', I should display a list of Cities. The user should then be allowed to choose 1 and only city from the list.
Is it possible to have list of radio buttons such that there is 1 radio button for each city and the user can then choose any one of the radio buttons ?
In this case the number of cities and what those cities are is unknown. So I need to have a dynamically changing list of radio buttons. Is this possible ?
Version of forms : Forms 6.0.5.

You can create a lot of radio buttons and hide|display them in runtime. It is more suitable i think to use the t-list instead of radio.

What version of Reader are they using, exactly? And are you sure they're
using Reader itself and not opening the file inside a browser window, for
example?

Possible to have Button Descriptions?

I am wondering if it is possible to have buttons on a menu that when a person were to cycle through it, another text box or image on the screen would change to describe the button.

In a flash/director pop-up way, not really, but you can use
1.) Layered Menus (there are many discussions here about that, and most avoid them for tecchincal reasons.)
2.) Use an overlay so when a button is selected additional text is shown (all buttons are square/rectangle)
Few ways to approach it. The easiest way is to place thee buttons text on the background image then make an overlay so that the button AND description are on it, and set the button to cover both (asssuming you want the button to change also, otherwise you can just have the description.)
Have DVD SP 3 open right now so Chapter 7 in thee online help shows more what I am writing about (look for Advanced Overlay Color Maapping)

Is it possible to have multiple hyperlinks inside an interactive button?

For example I have 5 buttons on a page.
Each button when clicked reveals a three column text chart.
In each of the columns there is a different hyperlink.
It appears that when I convert that chart to a button, so it can be hidden and revealed it loses the text hyperlinks inside the columns.
Is there a way around this?
Am I doing something incorrect?
I'm currently using InDesign CC.
