Is it possible to have same file size for different dpi?

I changed one.TIFF file (300dpi, 1024X1332) to .jpg files of four different dpi. But when I checked the four result jpg files, I found out that they are all in same file size and quality.( I also have checked the property of the files in the Windows.)
I think more DPI means more data and more file size. Am I wrong?
I use Photoshop CS 5.1(64bit, WINDOWS) - which is part of my Adobe Master Collection CS5.5.
TIFF(300dpi, 1024X1332) ->
1. JPG(72dpi, 1024X1332) : 306KB
2. JPG(108dpi, 1024X1332) : 306KB
3. JPG(144dpi, 1024X1332) : 306KB
4. JPG(600dpi, 1024X1332) : 306KB
I tested a few times more with different files. and same result comes out.(same file size for different dpi)

Yes absolutely. Great observation. PPI does not control the number of pixels, just how big they are.
Now, if you change the PPI in the Image Size dialog with Resample checked.. then, that is a different story. In that case you will be changing the pixel dimension of an image (i.e.,changing the total number of pixels making up the image) while keeping its print size.
In your test files, you will notice all the print sizes are different, because all you were telling Photoshop to do was change the size of the pixels (if or when the image is ever printed), which is really just a bit of metadata of the file.

Please help me regarding a problem with spooling. I spooled a query output to a file from two different database. In both the databases the table structure is the same and the output produced only one row. But the file size is different for the databases. How can this problem occur? Is there any database parameter need to be checked? Both the databases are in same version 10.2.0.1.0.
before running the spool i did a

on both the sessions.
In one database the filesize is *1463 bytes* and on the other the filesize is *4205 bytes*.

I think you are not getting my point. Both the files contain the same output but their sizes are different. This is due to the no of blank spaces between columns. I wanted to clarify why there is a difference between two filesize when the query output is the same.

I think the answer is no. You can, of course, have the input menu showing at login so different users can use different keyboard layouts or IM's when they log in.

To see the range:
Go to SE11,Type table Name open it-->double click on the DataElement adjasent to the field name ,You will get Domian ,Double click on Domain You will get Domain.There See Value range option .Value range cam also be defined by Value Table which will also at the Doamin level.

I just ran a test with iPhoto Library Manager, Duplicate Annihilator, iPhoto Duplicate Cleaner, Duplifinder and Photodedupo. I imported a folder of 5 photos into a test library 3 times, allowing iPhoto to import duplicates. I then ran the 5 photos thru resizer to reduce their jpeg compression but all other aspects of the file the same.
None of the duplicate removal apps found set that was reduced in the file resizer. That's probably due to the fact that the file creation date was being used as a criteria and the resized photo would have a different file creation date even though the Image Capture date was the same.
They all found the 3 regular duplicates and some of them would mark two and leave the 3rd unmarked. iPhoto Duplicate Cleaner can sort the found duplicates by file size but if the file was edited to get the reduced file size it might not be found as it would have a different file creation/modification date.
iPhoto Library Manage was able to find all duplicates and mark them as such if the file names were the same the the filename option was selected. Otherwise it also missed the modified, resized version. It allowed one to select the one photo to save before going to work on the library.
So if a photo has been reduced in image quality or pixel size it will not be considered a duplicate.

i have ripped a lot of my cds to itunes on my MBA. i used the aac high quality setting.
is there a way that i can upload lower quality/smaller size versions of the songs that i will put on my new iphone ?
Q2: once i rip cd into itunes (on my MBA)... is there an easy way I can later decide to save space and re encode them at 128 instead of 256 (for example).
i notice that you cant just willy nilly copy/delete from the itunes media folder because itunes doesnt seem to 'refresh' with the new files.

You don't need to convert formats and I would not recommend you do so. You will simply lose quality.

If you want smaller files on the iPhone, see my post above which converts them when syncing to theiPhone.
If you really want to convert when adding songs to iTunes...
iTunes prefs > General - Import settings as you want.
Hold Option (Mac) or Shift (Windows) and choose File > Create New Version > Convert AAC (or what your settings are in previous step).
This will convert and add the file instead of adding the file then converting and having 2 of the same song in iTunes.

Why is short clip from long original same file size?

Imported clip into imovie. Size 8.8 gb and 48 minutes in length. Cut a 20 second clip for use in different movie. Copy to desktop. File size for 20 second clip is same as original, 8.8 gb. Why?

It has to do with iMovie's nondestructive editing. I may not be expressing this exactly right, but here are the basics. When you edit in iMovie, the parts that you have cut from the file are not actually deleted. What you see in the timeline is the part of the file that you have chosen to use; the rest is retained. You always have the ability to revert to the original version. When you see the file size, you are viewing the size of the entire clip-the part you are using along with the part you cut.
If you want to save only the 20-second clip, export it as a QuickTime movie. You should then see a difference in the file size.

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?
For Lightroom and Nikon software again no - you can only install apps that are available in the iTunes app store on your computer and the App Store app on the iPad, 'normal' PC and Mac (OS X) software are not compatible with the iPad (iOS). There are some apps that perform fairly basic editing functions that are available in the store, but nothing as sophisticated as, for example, Lightroom.

file size? you mean dimensions or file bytes ?
Jpg is compressed so it won't be the same
Tiff is losless / lossy format to get the better quality
as for 16bit jpg the format doesnt support it

Yes, you do this when you export the images from the Library.
File -> Export
in the Size section, you don't need images larger than the frame size, so you can specify that and in the Jpeg Quality you can select the amount of compression used.

HI all,
I am having trouble exporting any 3-6 minute videos to the same file size as the original.
Everytime I select "uncompressed" it takes upwards of around 6-7Gb...this is way too big. When I compress it drops the file size in half from the original. My purpose is to hopefully get the SAME size as the original (if it is under 1Gb) and to get any file that is over 1Gb to just under 1Gb.
I want to be able to post my vidoes on youtube basically.
Any help would be much appreciated!

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod on the iPod in Settings>iCloud and wifi is on and connected go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up. You can't use the FIndMyiPhone app on the iPod since the app requires iOS 7
