Is it possible to have saved folders on the ipad

Is it possible to have folders to save item to on the ipad?

The iPad doesn't have a file system like a 'normal' computer, everything has to be stored within an app. So depending upon what you are wanting to save on the iPad you will need one or more apps on the iPad to copy them to - depending upon what the app supports, you may be able to copy items to it via file sharing, your wifi network, email, or you might be able to store them in, for example, Dropbox and access them from that via apps on your iPad
