Is it possible to iMessage one recipient and for the rest of my contacts to recieve normal texts?

I have been contacting a friend abroad via iMessage and that's been no problem however when iMessage is on, other contacts of mine send me message by iMessage. Is there any way to stop the rest of my contacts iMessaging me and keep my friend abroad iMessage me?

If you are sending to multiple people, and not all of them have iOS devices and iMessage accounts, then the message is sent to all as SMS text (assuming you have that option enabled in your messaging settings). Basically, no, you cannot split the choice of sending for a given message - the recipeint list will dictate that and if even one recipient does not have iMessaging active, then it will go as SMS text (or not go at all, if you have disable the option to send as SMS text).
There is no way to send a single message to multiple people and have some of them receive it via Apple's iMessage service and some receive it via your carriers SMS texting service. It is all or none as far as that goes.

Open the project that has the titles you want to use. Select (highlight) all the title clips you want, then right-click and choose COPY.
Open the new project(s), then paste the titles onto the Timeline.

Conversion File - Getting one record and skip the rest

Hi Experts,
I have one issue using conversion file. Is it possible to get only the records that we want without using SKIP? Example below:

Partner
Invoice No

PA1
INV1
P2222
PA2
INV2
P5555

PA1
INV4
Let's say I want to get all the product number for partner - PA1.
Instead of using skip in the conversion file as below, is there another way to do in conversion file?
Internal
External
PA2
*SKIP
PA3
*SKIP
The reason is because I might have partner PA4, PA5 in future and i will need to modify the conversion file to include to SKIP PA4 and PA5.
Is there a way to get the data for partner PA1 only?

Thank you for the response. I actually tried to use java script previously but I can't get it working. I am not really good at it. I tried several ways using if condition and SKIP but it keeps on fail with error saying "Java scription JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%!=PA1 THEN *SKIP) evaluation error".
Followings are the list of sample I have tried so far:
Internal - *
External - JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%!=PA1 THEN *SKIP) or
               JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%.string!=PA1 THEN *SKIP) or
               JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%!=PA1 THEN SKIP) or
               JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%.string!=PA1 THEN SKIP) or
               JS:IF(%EXTERNAL%.string()!=PA1 THEN *SKIP) and etc.
I am not sure if we can use SKIP in that way. Appreciate if you can advice on this.

No, the camera connection kit only supports the copying of photos and videos to the Photos app, it doesn't support copying content off the iPad. For your second camera instead of the SD reader part of the kit, does the iPad to camera cable not work with it for direct transfer to the iPad ?

An iTunes account can only be used in one store at a time, and you need to be in that country with a valid billing address on your account for that country in order to use it there. An email address can only be linked to one account, so if you want two separate iTunes accounts then you will need two email addresses

The title of my initial post is a bit misleading. I already took a chance deleting one of the iPhones, hoping if I deleted the wrong one, I can still reauthorize it (all with the same Apple ID acct, so not subject to 90-day waiting period, right?) The iTunes database just updated itself, and it says I have 4 "devices" "in the Cloud", but 5 "computers" associated w my account. How can I find out what computers are associated? Isn't there a list I can see? I dont have a clue what computers they might be. If I use the "Deauthorize All" option, is it a pain to add them all back in. I assume I would have to log in from each computer to reauthorize each one. Would I have to be running the newest OS or version of iTunes to reauthorize? I think I have a PowerBook G4 Titanium with an older OS and iTunes. I'd like to keep that authorized, if possible.

I still have an iPhone, but haven't turned it on for weeks. And there's no SIM in it, so no cell service, just WiFi. When I turn it on after a prolonged period of having it off (weeks), a bunch of messages popup that should have been forwarded to my new phone (same phone number and carrier as when I was an iPhone user) but appear to sit in iMessage queue indefinitely instead.
I'm guessing it has to do with the link that's made when an iPhone first realizes that it's talking to another iPhone and defaults, for all future texts, to iMessage. You know, the green to blue switch. How does that association get undone?
Has anyone else seen this, and if so, is there a fix?

is it possible to import new slides and keep the audio?
The designers have changed the housestyle of the powerpoints,
but the audio has been recorded in captivate in the meanwhile. Is
it possible to keep the audio of the files and replace all the old
powerpoint slides with new ones? (not one by one by hand off but
all in one button press ?)

Are you saying that your Library has lots of other audio that
isn't really used on a slide? If so, try right-clicking the Library
panel and choosing "Select Unused Items". This should highlight all
the sound files not in use. Now press the Delete key and they
should be removed from the Library view.
Now you are faced with just what is left. You may not know
which clip goes with which slide. So try this. In your Film strip,
audio attached to the slide should appear as a Speaker icon in the
corner. Click the Speaker icon and pop down (or up) menu should
display. Choose "Find in Library". This should highlight the
associated clip in the Library. Now, if you like, you may
right-click the file in the Library and rename that to something
like "Slide X audio" (so you know which clip goes with which
slide).

Since this is the second computer you've had this problem with, I recommend you look for answers on the iPhone forum. My thinking is it is an iPhone issue rather than a computer issue (unless it is some software incompatibility).

What I did was to put in the same name for Album Artist in every track. That seemed to do the trick (previously all those fields were empty). It seems like a lot of work for a simple thing.

Is there a way to create folders on one iPad and sync the folders to multiple iPads? I have 23 iPads and I want to have all the folders match for easier access for students.

Here is a possibkle workaround, assuming the iPads are all starting out with the same initial content on them:
Backup that iPad to each computer you will be using. Then restore from the backup (only takes a couple minutes). Then rename the other 22 iPads.
