IS IT POSSIBLE TO INSERT A PICTURE ON THE LEOPARD WALLPAPER

I like the standard wallpaper that appeared after i installed leopard. I would love to have some personal photos, even just one, appear in a small box, maybe 2.5x3 inch, or other size. I just dont like when the entire desktop is occupied by personal photo.
does anyone know how to accomplish this?
I guess one option is to take the leopard wallpaper and edit it to have the photo inside it and use that as the desktop.
I would prefer a program that could run a photo on a small portion of the desktop or rotate several photos through that area?
Anybody have any suggestions>

In google maps, when you make a request, there is a pointer named "A" with a short pop up description. I find that in my web applet "google maps", the pop up take too much place on the screen. I don't want to put the iframe height more than 500 so do you know if there is a way to desactivate the pop up information and just let the pointer "A" visible?

Is it possible to make a copy of the Leopard install DVD?

Is it possible to make a copy of the Leopard install DVD? If so, is there a special way this has to be done? I just found out that we needed to use the Leopard install DVD to recover a complete backup from Time Machine after a recent hard drive failure. We have the family pack of Leopard, so I would like to keep the original at home and send a copy when my daughter goes off to college in case she needs to recover again. Her machine was originally a Tiger MacBook, so those install disks will not work. If it is not possible to copy the DVD, is there a way to create a bootable utility to do a time machine recovery?

This half-solved my problem. I have had no problems creating a backup copy for my intel based computers, but non-intel based computers are problematic; a G5 powermac tower and a G4 Powerbook. Both with super drives for single density burning. Both have Leopard running, installed from an install disc purchased from Apple. However, neither will mount the copy, but intel based computers will. have burnt/burned with both toast 9 and Disc Utility. Discs won't mount and are "spit out" by the drive.

Is it possible to insert a picture in a form?

The person filling out the form would insert a picture in a space provided.... all of which could then be distributed.... Or if I can't do this in a PDF form, how else can it be done? What I'd really like to have (but is probably not doable) is a thumbnail of the picture on the form where it expands upon clicking on it. Can anyone point me in the right direction. Obviously I'm new to this and just trying to help a friend out in his new business. Thanks!

An html widget (created with adobe edge or other means) would take up the whole screen when the user taps on the widget. Probably not the localaized effect you're looking for. Another way could be to use a keynote presentation with an animation that starts when the user taps on it. None of these solutions are ideal. If your book has a lot of these types of effect, you're better off developing an app or using another tool than IBA.

Is it possible to post a picture on the Solutions Homepage?

We're building a PRM system and we want to spice up our application. We added a picture on the homepage by creating a Global Web Applet but there doesn't seem to be functionality in the other Tabs. Since the Solutions Tab is a tab which is used most by partners we (also) want to place a picture on this homepage. Does anyone know if this is possible and if so, how?

AFAIK, you can't. The nature of TextEdit is that it allows the picture to be treated as a character and adjusts the cursor size for that line.
You need a app that supports transparent overlays.

Is it possible to display contact pictures in the messaging app?

My dad was wondering if it's possible to show a contact's picture when he is texting them so that he doesn't accidentally text the wrong person. No, but if going to the trouble of selecting the contact in Contacts each time before composing and sending a new message, make sure the correct person's name is selected in Messages which is also available in the header bar when a contact's messaging conversation is selected.

Insert a picture into the forum message body

How can I insert quick VI examples into my posts and have them visible in the message body without someone having to open the attachment to see what I have posted. I have seen this a lot and I always just using the attachment option only.

I am wondering if there could be an easier way to embed images, without going through an edit process, and trying to get a copy of the link to the image. It would require a change to the editor.
Supposed another button was added for embed picture, and it would also put a copy of that image in the attachment list. Since a message number doesn't get assigned until after the message is posted, the image link is created with a dummy tag (and not the local filename as it exists on your computer like the current embed image button.)
Once the web server, gets the message, accepts it and assigns a message number, it would automatically swap out the dummy tag for the new server based tag.
For example, I want to embed c:\testimage.png. The new special button would let me select the file and also attach it as attachment #1. It would create a link that instead of being c:\testimage.png would be http:// forums.ni.com/attachments/ni/BreakPoint/placeholder/1/testimage.png (note: I put spaces in after http: because I didn't want this converted to a hyperlink in this message.
Once the message is actually posted and the actual message number gets assigned, the web server would swap out "placeholder" with the actual message number.
I think this would greatly ease posting pictures, wouldn't require editing, and reduce the risks of the edit time running out before the user has a chance to get all of the links edited.

Is it possible to insert Chapter Markers via the iOS app?

So I got myself involved in a project that involves creating audiobooks and podcasts. My responsibility involves scanning thru the files, inserting the marks to create the chapters, editing for content and finally creating the .m4a and .m4b files. Very labor intensive - I'm not complaining - but this brings me to the point.
I'm able to do all this easily enough with Sound Forge and Chapter & Verse but I’m forced to sit in front of the PC for hours on end. I’d like to do the marking - the hardest part - and editing on the iPad - while commuting, at lunch, etc. The issue is GarageBand for iOS doesn’t seem to have the ability to insert “marks”. I’m hoping someone will tell me I’m wrong or point me in the direction of an app that will allow me to create chapter marks (app must have the ability to import files).

No, GarageBand on the iPad cannot add chapter markers. You can mix a song arrangement and do basic editing.
