Aswin,
Yes, it is possible.
You may download the Oracle bi 11g client tools here,
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/bi-enterprise-edition/downloads/bus-intelligence-11g-165436.html
...you'll simply need the Oracle Business Intelligence Developer Client Tools Installer (11.1.1.5.0)
Please award points if this was helpful or the correct answer to your question.

  • Is it possible to install a non HP Branded Windows 7 OS on a HPE h8-1360t.

    Hi.
I would like a clean install of Windows 7 Professional.
I have a new OEM copy of it just waiting to be installed without any unnecessary HP branded software.
    Will it work?
    TIA

Yes it is possible to install a retail copy of windows 7, however there will be issues with drivers.  The hp software build that came preinstalled on your product already has all the drivers for windows 7 for graphics, sound, LAN etc. that are compatible with Windows 7.  You will most likely need to install the original drivers from the hp website if the native windows 7 drivers do not work.  Before doing this make sure you have recovery disks for your product in case you need to revert back to the original configuration.

  • Install admin Tools 10.2 on Tiger

I wish to upgarde my computer (administrator) to Tiger and the server will remain Jaguar. Will I be able to install and use the 10.2 Server Admin tools on Tiger?
    Patrick

Weird! I tried to install on a Tiger machine and was informed that it isn't possible unless it is a 10.2 machine. So I tried to install on a 10.3 machine that already has the 10.2 Admin Tools installed and that has undergone the usual periodic upgrades, and the same message appeared denying installation. So there must have been a soft upgrade when I upgraded to Panther and with subsequent software updates. I really would prefer to do a clean erase and install of Tiger and not upgrade and not even archive and install. Is there a downloadable latest version of the Admin Tools?

  • Installing admin tools

    Hi!
We need to install Exchange 2010 SP-2 Admin tools on a member server 2012. Can they be installed on a windows 2012 machine?
    Thanks.

So can we only install tools from sp3 if the server is running sp2?
The recommendation is to have the same SP and Rollup installed on management servers and installed on the Exchange Server(s).
Since SP2 is out of support, you should plan to patch your server and then install the tools on your management server.
Running different versions can cause problems and you might not be able to use EMC on the management server even if the installation (with SP3-binaries) was successful.

  • Is it possible to Install Oracle Linux 6.2 64-bit in Itanium Server?

    Hi Gurus,
I have 2 intel Itenium servers of same configuration. I like to install Oracle Linux 6.2 64-bit in both Itanium Servers and Install Oracle 11gr2 RAC there. I have installed OEL 6.2 64-bit in x86-64 architecture server and installed Oracle 11gr2 there, but never done that in Itenium servers. Now I am confused if it is possible. To know the answer is very important for me and earlier the better.

  • Open and connect in OBI 11.1.1.5 admin tool fowwoling OBE Upgrade

I installed OBI11.1.1.5 on Redhat 5.2 and the admin tool on a windows. In this two machine I have OBI 10 server and admin tool installed as well. The OBI 11 components are all up running as I can access them such as EM and represention service.
Following OBEhttp://www.oracle.com/webfolder/technetwork/tutorials/obe/fmw/bi/bi11115/upgrade/upgrade_to_11g.htm?print=preview#t3 .I upgraded our 10g rpd and catalog and see the repository saved in instance_home, and verified that the default is RPD sh20110903_BI002.
Next step in the OBE, I verify Reposiotory Metadata. I launched the admin tool, opened inline. In the generated dialog box, I entered the password in defined in the update script as Repository Password, and used weblogic login in User/Password. All other fields are blank. That is all I can do in the dialog box, but the Open buttone is always grey. I think at least one available repository should be listed in the list box at the bottom, but it was empty.
Then I tried to create a new repository. In step 2 Select Data Source, I choose ODBC 3.5 and use a valid system DSN, but got Error : The connection has failed.
I tried also use Connection Type OCI 10g/11g. IN the Data Source Name I used a valid netservice name defined in a Oracle client's Oracle_HOME. But still got Error : The connection has failed.
    Questions
    1) How can make the Open button active in the Open inline RPD dialog box?
    2) Why the valid System DSN failed to connect in 11g admin tool. It is OK in 10g admin tool and ODBC configure
    3) How to make Admin Too; sees the tnsnames definition. Should I copy the tnsnames.ora file to somewhere under Admin Tool installation directory?
    Many thanks.

Thanks. The post appares make sense. I opened my user.sh file and has 2 questions:
    1) There are 32bit section and 64 bit section, and it states that 32 bit server must work with 32 bit client, so is for 64 bit. In my case, the clients are most likely 32 bit windows (browsers and admin tool), but the server is installed on Redhat 64 bit. Is this a problem? How do I know if my OBIEE iis running 64 or 32 bit?
    2) All entries in the user.sh file are commented out. Then what file is used to in the current OBI11, it is started automatically after the installation.

  • Error code 1632 when trying to install management tools

Getting this rather dated error message when trying to install the Exchange 2007 SP3 admin tools on a Windows 7 x64 Professional SP1 client PC.
"Installing product C:\temp\exchangeserver.msi failed. The Temp folder is on a drive that is full or is inaccessible. Free up space on the drive or verify that you have write permission on the Temp folder. Error code is 1632."
I've done all the obvious stuff, the group everyone has full control of pretty much everything on the computer at this point, tried copying the files locally, tried running it from a UNC path, no luck.  Definitely am an administrator on the computer.
The only other software on it at this point is IE11 and Windows updates.
Tried it from the UI, tried it from the command line, i.e. setup /r:mt and I get the same error code.  Definitely is enough disk space.  The version I'm installing definitely is the x64 SP3 version.
    Any ideas?

  • Installing Metadata Integrator alone??

    Hi,
I want to know if it is possible to install Metadata Integrator in a Windows machine alone if my Data Services XI 3.2 and Business Objects Enterprise XI 3.1 SP2 are install in other server on Unix Platform. My question is because Metadata Integrator can´t be install on Unix Platform and I need to make some Lineage and Impact analysis between these systems. If not, the only workaround that I have is to install Business Objects Metadata Management (this product can be install on Unix)in the same server to do this analysis???

This is the point I don't understand. How do you know you
    have no
interest in them if you have never tried them? If Dreamweaver
    had
integrated the ability to preview sites on mobile devices as
    a core part
of the program, I imagine that many people would have said
    "how cool".
Because Device Central is shared with Photoshop, Illustrator,
    and Flash,
    the reaction is "not interested".
    > If I install DW CS, that and only that is all I expect
    to install.
There's no argument that the installer should let you pick
    and choose.
    > I have reverted back to DW8 until this gets sorted. From
    what I have seen
    > there is little difference anyway.
I have no idea what Adobe's plans are, but I would be very
    surprised if
the policy is changed before the release of the next version.
    As for
there being little difference between DW8 and CS3, I don't
    agree. The
improvements in CSS rendering and CSS management are far from
insignificant. If you use client-side validation, the Spry
    validation
    widgets are stunning.

  • Cannot Connect to new Installation with Admin Tool

Have installed BPC 7.5 SP4 Patch 4 on Windows 2008 64-bit.  App/Web Server on one machine, SQL Server 2008 on 2nd machine,
Everything seems fine except access via servername - servername used in all the settings.
When trying to access the Administration to start installing new appsets, connect using ip address in admin tool and login using the software install user but will not verify user name/password.
Does anyone have any idea of the issue?
    thanks
    Lesley

In that case, I'd suggest you make sure both ethernet ports are unplugged from the RAID, power it off and on, plug a cable directly from a laptop to the RAID, set the IP of your laptop to 169.264.11.11 with subnet mask 255.255.0.0, then do "ping 255.255.255.255" and you should see a response from the IP address used by the RAID.
This question is very common here... there are other threads where I've answered this so I won't clarify further here.

    Hi,
Could you try Windows Install Cleanup tool (http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459) to remove AIR Runtime and then install the latest AIR Runtime again? To install this tool on 64bit Windows, you need to run this program in compatibility mode for WinXP SP3 (right click the exe file, Properties -> Compatibility)
    Thanks,
    Jian

    Hi,
If you see your logs, you server has actually started in "RUNNING" mode. Its only throwing lot of "ClassNotFoundException" because I guess they classes are not available in classpaths. If you know the "jar" which contains which are being complained, copy the jar files to "DOMAIN_HOME/lib" which is simple way to add jars to classpath.

    Hello,
Oracle 11.1 is neither certified nor supported to Windows 7 and, even Oracle couldn't give you
any support on this OS Platform.
However, Oracle 11.2 will be certified to Windows 7.
It's not already available for Windows, you may check from time to time on the following link:
    http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/index.html
    Hope this help.
    Best regards,

  • TREX Admin Tool (Stand-Alone)

    Hello-
I am new to the forums, so if I am posting in a wrong area please let me know so I can correct this; thanks in advance for your patience.
Now the question.  I am interested in using the TREX Admin Tool (Stand-Alone) to manage our multiple TREX 7.0 and TREX 7.1 systems.  Can anyone tell me where I go in the market place to download this tool and any links to the documentation on this tool.
I have already found SAP Note 766516 and the following link on help.sap.com on the subject:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04s/helpdata/en/40/1726d3aef809b8e10000000a114cbd/content.htm
Any and all input, suggestions, help, flames, etc. are greatly appreciated.

    Hi Nathan,
the Python based TREX admin tool (stand-alone) is part of the TREX 7.0/7.1 installation. You do not need to download it seperately, when you have downloaded and installed TREX.  Note that also a transaction TREXADMIN exist by which you can start the ABAP based version of the TREX admin tool in the SAP System if you are using TREX by an ABAP application via RFC.
For docu how to start and how to use the TREX 7.0 admin tools see:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/3f/fcb705c1ce131fe10000000a114cbd/frameset.htm
There will be also an admin docu about using TREX 7.1 by NW 7.0 applications. This docu will be available on SAP Help Portal as of NW 7.0 SP14 during January.
For the most current info + docu about TREX and TREX configuration see also:
