Is it possible to install eBiz12.1.3(64bit) vm template on virtual box in my laptop 64bit.?
or Can it be only installed on Oracle VM(not virtual Box), in this case, can i install Oracle VM on my laptop and import the oracle vm template for 12.1.3?

ERROR installing MAC OSX onto my W510 Mint 9 Virtual Box.....

Hi all,
Im running Linux Mint 9 & trying to install osx 10.6.3 via latest virtual box. (for viewing purposes only!!) Ive tried it with Empire EFI, iBoot and Legacy boot cd.
All settings in VB are as tutorials that are out there on the web so im pretty sure my settings are ok. Once one of the above bootable discs loads it asks me to replace the disc with the msc os dvd (retail) and then press F5
So i wait for the osx disc to mount, wait for about 1-2 minutes (as advised), press F5 and the disc starts spinning for about a second then stops. The following error then comes up on the Virtual screen window:
Block 0x18a96a sectors 0
this continues to scroll down the page then nothing. Im pretty much useless at pc's and i only use them for wmy work (CAD) Ive been getting help from a guy who is trying to step by step me through the installation process, he has installed it but running Ubuntu.

So can anyone suggest why the disc is not loading from the DVD drive? possibly a simple setting on my w510?

Is it possible to install Windows 98 on Lenovo R61? (Without Virtual PC)

Hi all,
Just wondering whether I can install Windows 98 on a standard stock R61 8918-5KM series?
I had purchased this notebook quite some time ago, but would like to go back into just having Windows 98 installed natively seeing I have a large collection of software which are not suited to OS's after XP or even XP for that mater. The system originally had VISTA but I downgraded to XP Pro seeing nothing really worked. With XP Pro I'm still having problems.
I have Windows 98 original and Windows 2000 original with XP/VISTA being the rescue and recovery CD pack which was ordered from Lenovo. HOWEVER, when going through the drivers support area, I can't seem to find the relavent drivers necessary for all the installed devices for either 98/2000.
Is it possible to obtain these from Lenovo or would I need to go to the respective companies to obtain these?

I am sorry to inform you that there are no drivers available for Windows 98 OS, you can install Windows XP and drivers are available for that.

Is it possible to install Sharepoint Foundation 2013 in a Windows 8 Pro box for development purposes?

I remember an article explaining how to install SharePoint Foundation 2010 in a Windows 7 box which was prone to some errors but however a great article (http://blogsp.idea80.com/2010/02/instalacion-de-sharepoint-2010-sobre.html).
I wander if it would be posible to install 2013 in a Windows 8 pro box.
I want to try the SharePoint features in Visual Studio but I dont really want to go through the whole installation process for SharePoint in a server. I am not interested in ADS integration or anything else, just basic functionality to develop some basic
add ons in Silverlight.
Any help would be greately appreciated.

No, it's not possible to do that anymore, it has to be run on Windows Server 2008 R2 or 2012, and I would totally recommend the latter, it seems to perform much better. But what you can do is this, and its what I'm doing, run a virtual machine on Windows
8 running Windows Server 2012 and install SharePoint 2013 there. Works like a charm.

Installing solaris in virtual box

i have installed solaris 10/09 os in oracle virtual box 4.0.2
Im facing following problems as mentioned below
1. I have installed usb driver and network driver for the virtual box and i have succesfully installed the extension packs also . while logging in to virtual machine
it captures my usb keyboard and usb mouse ,it not allows them to access the application of host os(windows xp) until i logout from virtual machine.
2.Usb mouse is working in virtual machine but im not able to see the mouse pointer and then i can identify the mouse movement when mouse accelaration is very slow.
3.I can't able configure internet connection for virtual machine in default adapter NAT.when i change the setting to host only network adapter
VM doesn't boot it runs continuosly with the message conflict with ip address
4.Can't able to adjust the screen resolution more than 800 x 600 .
Can you suggest me the solution for all these problems

The Host Key should be displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the VirtualBox machine's window. A pop-up message will also appear when you first start up the virtual machine, explaining that you will need the host key to escape out.

A Cloud subscription provides for installing working installations on two machines. You can have mixed operating systems (both Windows and Apple's OX).

hello Dahveed, thanks for your reply, i solved it with the help of the migration assistant from another mac - now it works (but before as more info: for my new imac it was not possible to install apple remote desktop from appstore (the install-button not available, the same as installed already...) - and i don't know why...? - is it possible that the reason is the number of owned macs?)

I am running OS X 10.9.3 with Server 3.1.2 on a Mac-Mini Mid-2012. I learned on my last implementation of OS X 10.9.3 that Mavericks sometimes has issues with handling group mail. As I rebuild my network, I am wondering if it is possible to install a SMTP proxy that can receive, process, then forward mail on to the primary mail server.
For example, if mail is sent to a group account, this SMTP proxy would repackage the message as a message to a carbon copy list of all the group members, but if the mail is sent to a user account, the mail is forwarded unmodified. Like this:
As an alternative to this, I would also be interested a solution in which the Linux Mail Server referenced the Open Directory for account information, including password authentication, so that if a user in the Mac Network updates his password, that he can use the same password to access his mail on a webmail client or via the Mail.app.
This is a callout for discussion points, ideas and recommendations. There is no problem here to fix necessarily.

I am not aware of a tool to do the group splitting for you, this is normally the responsibility of the mail server itself.
However with regards to your second query, a lot of people use a product called Kerio Connect instead of Apple's Mail server. Kerio can run on the same Mac server but in general is a far more powerful mail server. It does include the ability to authenticate user accounts against Open Directory.
There is one issue you need to be aware of, like nearly all mail servers it uses the 'username' as the main email address, so if you want an email account of [email protected] then your Open Directory short name need to be jsmith, if you want your email address to be [email protected] then your user short name needs to be john.doe and so on.
Note: While I have specifically talked about Kerio most other mail server including those for Linux would be able to link to Open Directory via LDAP and authenticate email accounts. The same link between email address and short name would usually apply.
