Is it possible to install Photoshop Elements on a second Laptop Computer ?

I want to install Elements 11 on a second Laptop.

The standard licence allows you to have two active copies of Photoshop Elements.
So you should be able to install it on a second laptop.

Ok, we have to assume that the tech guys somehow uninstalled your version 2.
When you say that you tried to install it again nothing happens, do you get as far as starting the installation?
If nothing happens when you insert the CD, it is possible that auto run has been inhibited for the CD drive. You could use Windows explorer to look at the contents of the CD. If you see an Install.exe or setup.exe, try double clicking on them to start the install.
There are usually two problems that are encountered when trying to install such an old version on a new computer system.
1) The installer objects to your version of Internet Explorer (requires version greater than 4.0 and you have 11.0)
2) Not enough free space - caused because modern disks are much larger than they were when elements 2 was released.
Have you seen either of those problems?

I've installed Photoshop Elements 12 on my PC computer. Although the installation message at the end noted the installation was successful, when I tried to double-click on the desktop icon, it won't open. Any ideas?

Please follow these steps:
Try to rename SLCacje to Slcache.old
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
and
SLStore to Slstore.old
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\SLStore
and Right Click on the Photoshop Elements 12 icon and run as administrator

You can't run PSE from a USB drive, nor can you transfer PSE to a different computer via a USB drive. PSE must be installed on a computer using the installer program provided by Adobe.

Yes, PSE will run fine on the machine. The only thing to point out may be that your laptop is having 1 GB of RAM, so sometimes, you would have to be patient for Organizer and Editor to perform their functions while playing with PSE. 2 GB of RAM would have been great...
Bottom line: your laptop config looks fine to install and use PSE. For better performance, you may want to upgrade RAM, that will speed up your other activites on the laptop as well...

If your Mac is a new machine/OS it is highly unlikely that PSE6 will be able to be installed/used with it.

My old computer died and I've installed my photoshop elements 10 on the new one and have imported all my photos. WHat I can't figure out is how to get my tags and albums back. Install Photoshop Elements on Desktop and Laptop?

I was under the impresion that you could install Adobe Photoshop Elements on one desktop and one laptop computer within the same household using one license. After installing on my desktop, I installed it on my laptop but after a while my laptop installation said it expired and Photoshop Elemnts no longer opens. What's the real issue here?
