Is it possible to launch native app through third party app.

I am making the app in which I want to launch the others app,I am able to launch the third party app but not the mobile native app. Is it possible to launch native app through third party app.

I have 200 computers that when you launch GarageBand 3.0.5 it comes up with the error:

Our image is basically 10.5.6 with mainly Adobe CS 3 suite. No other sound programs or anything sound or video related was installed besides iLife 06 and I'm not sure what is causing the issue. I have tried reinstalling iLife 06 and run all updates available from Apple and repairing permissions. I have went through the plugins in /Library/Audio folder and haven't had any luck at all.
What gets me is under the admin account I have it working fine by removing the default emagic plugin in /Library/Audio/ etc.. but if I log in as a regular user without admin privileges i get the error.
I have tried deleting pref files in the users Preferences folder, but I just can't find a workaround.
It kinda seems to be like a permissions issue since the Admin account works, but I have tried pushing permissions 777 to /Library/Application Support/ and to /Library/Audio and to /Applications/Garageband.app and still no results.
I was blaming an Apple update because things worked fine before, I'm not sure what caused it. I reinstalled the combo update and that didn't help either.
I reformatted and installed 10.5 and upgraded using the combo updater to 10.5.6 and installed iLife 06 and installed all available updates from Apple like I have in the image and things work fine.
But I need to get this working on our image.........Anyone have any ideas as to what could possible be the issue and might know a fix????
Google searches the solutions I have found are repairing permissions and deleting plugins. I have tried repairing permissions and have no plugins besides the defaults, but I have already removed the emagic one and nothing else is in there.

To get me through the year I deleted a bunch of Microsoft Office Receipts in /Library/Receipts and it fixed the issue.
I have no idea why, deleting a receipt from another app shouldn't affect anything, but it worked. I spent many hours trying to figure out a solution and this worked!
We are running iLife 09 now and no issues so far!

Return material to vendor procured through Third party PO

We have a scenario where the materials sent to customers through third party sales order is retuned back as retuned stock.
This retuned material needs to be sent back to the vendor. Please let us know how this can be handled.

i have an issue on the way we manage return from third party order but maybe it can help you to know how we proceed
third party order here is treated this way;
sales order with TAS triggering PR and then PO......we do MIGO when good reach customer ..then MIRO and finally customer invoice..ok..nothing really extraordinary !!
for the return we add a new item in the Sales order and then triggers a new PR..we go to our PO with ME22N and create a new item from the PR generated with the second sales order item
We set the return checkbox in the second PO item...and then we do MIGO to indicate that stock has been returned to the supplier ..and create the MIRO to be refunded by the supplier and finally we create a G2S invoice to refund the customer ....
it works good but...the overal status of the sales order remains "Being processed..." !! this is my problem and SAP do not want to help us coz a return flow on third party order is not covered by SAP in standard !

I have onc case here I want to make all account payable final payment to vendor by third party govt audit commite . Our client is govt and they have standard process so all final payment will be done through third party audit people (audit people also from govt) .
For example for PO payment terms say 10% advance , 85% after delivery and 5%after inspection of all document by audit people . here audit people will check all purchaseing documet before going to pay .
How we can manage this process in SAP ERP and auditor want to check all document after that he want to post payment in sap .

you can sale RAW Material to vendor, vendor should make GR & avail excise benifit. after this vendor can use some other parts for production of final product. Vendor can sale us final product as per the costing (i.e. our rm cost + other products used by vendor + % of Margins)

Sprint is not a GSM carrier. They never support GSM SIM cards on their network.
If your asking if the iPhone sold by Sprint can support a GSM SIM, yes, if Sprint is wiling to unlock it for you. Only the carrier to which a phone is locked can legitimately unlock it. Anything else is a hack and is just asking for trouble.

No Longer Possible to Access iCloud Mail on Third Party Mac

Something has changed recently. It is no longer possible to access iCloud mail on a third party mac via web browser
This afternoon, I tried to do so on my daughter's iMac - and the system wanted me to set up iCloud rather than letting me access Mail (or any other iCloud services for that matter) instead. Tried different browsers, change of login account on the computer. All to no avail. Have to set up iCloud on the computer. Which means either logging my daughter out, or creating a whole new identity for the purpose. This entirely defeats the notion of the simple webmail interface - and indeed makes Pages, Calendar, etc inaccessible unless on your own computer, or one that you have used to set up an iCloud account. Not something that you want to do in an internet cafe or an airport lounge.
Two sets of Chat Support sessions later, with the problem being hinted to be probably due to "my daughter's computer (!!???)", no satisfaction
I am now in the airport, trying to still access my iCloud mail through a web browser. Same nonsense about setting up iCloud before I can access my iCloud mail via the web through a browser.
Apple, this was one of the advantages of iCloud that I, as a regular traveller, have found useful in the past. Today I have wasted well over an hour on something that is clearly an error in the logic of how people will be using iCloud - possibly a "feature" of Mavericks?
Please bring back simple and straightforward access to iCloud mail via web browser, so that I can once again access my mail from any third party computer.

I am moving my Adobe CS6 to a new Mac and i lost the serial number. I bought the program through a third party vendor. Can you help me locate the serial number to I can use with my new computer?

If you had it on a Windows machine I could suggest a solution for extracting it using some special free software (Belarc Advisor), but I do not know of a similar tool for Macs.
Unfortunately, if Adobe didn't sell it, then it becomes your responsibility to prove you own the license. Maybe you could try contacting the third party vendor to see if they have some helpful info. If that fails maybe you can try to contact Adobe Support thru chat and see if they can work with you to get you a new serial number. Don't be surprised if they refuse to help - I can't be sure what they support versus what they don't anymore.

and I get a java security error:
Failure: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.io.FilePermission C:\Program execute)

Java plugin through third-party application plugin (C++ dyn. lib) interface

You know how some applications have C++ as their built-in plugin interface. I'd like to do something sort of similar with Java. But the application isn't mine - it is a commercial application for which I already write C++ plugins (dynamic libraries). So, Java/JVM/JRE would need to be interfaced through a C++ plugin itself in order to compile and run the Java bytecode (unless there is some other way - doubtfully). I'm not looking for a scripting language interface but an alternate way for users/developers to create plugins for this application using a C++ plugin as a gateway to running Java. This is mainly because C++ requires you to be an experienced programmer who understands building executables and libraries, requires compilation for each target OS, requires each target system for testing (unless you have testers and like that slow type of process), requires extensive memory management, and so forth. The application does have an interpreted 'scripting' language that can be used for making plugins but it is woefully under-supported; good for simple internal scripts but all but useless for complex plugins. This forces many user-cum-developers that want to advance to either come to terms with C++ or give up on advancing. The other downside of their C++ SDK is that it has no exception support whatsoever. Of course, Java could be made to avoid that shortcoming by way of the JVM or passing the exception as an error back to the C++ plugin (if that's how it would design out).

Oh no. Can't use .net or C#. This is a cross-platform application (Windows 32-bit, 64-bit, MacOS X 32/64). Nothing system-dependent. A Python interface is already 'in the works' from another developer. But I don't like Python at all. It doesn't jive with me syntactically, do not like typelessness, and other things that just bug me about it (sorry to Python fans). :) I'm a seasoned developer (C/C++/Java/JavaScript/COFFEE/BASIC/LISP/etc.) and so far it has been a harrowing experience doing even simplistic things with that interface in the application. Don't know if it's me or the implementation (which is still beta) but it is extremely sensitive to the most unusual problems. Java has all of the power of C++ but none of its nastiness (memory management, projects and builds, and the other issues aforementioned that keep users from doing small-time plugin development).
Yeah, I thought JNI but it looks to be the other way round (not sure). I'm mainly a Java application/applet programmer. Have never dabbled in this before - which is why I ask. :D

VLAN Transport through Third Party L2 Network

Hi all,
I have a situation where I need to deliver four VLANs (100,101,200,201) from one building to another building across an external organisation's campus network using a single VLAN (555) which they will provide for the next 24 months during major construction works at the site.
The diagram shows what I am trying to achieve. Blue devices are ours and black are theirs.
Our switches are running "IP services" on the 3750 and "LAN base" on the 2960. All links through the campus network a 1Gbps or better. Our VLAN100 is a voice VLAN and will have IP Phones in both buildings.
The external organisation will not permit dot1q trunks to our equipment as there are overlapping VLANs in their environment. I have requested that they configure QinQ on their VLAN555 access ports, however, this has been denied for various reasons.
What are the options for achieving the desired outcome? Introduce routers with stacked VLANs? QinQ on our equipment? VRFs? Something else?

With Catalyst 2960 Lan Base you dont have plenty of options. What i can sugest is to migrate link to other building to L3 link and redesign network appropriately that other building will use distinct networks, not extended networks from main building. Than activate sdm prefer lanbase-routing on 2960 and activate ip routing , and make up routing between buildings subnets using static routes.

Configuring IPSec Natively without a Third Party Vendor

You may wonder, with IPSecuritas, VPN Tracker, etc ... why would I want to do this? Well, I work for an IPSec vendor (can't say which), but we want to provide a "guidelines" document for setting up VPNs from various platforms. Our requirement is not to rely on third party vendors (even if it's free). So I'd like to start looking into configuring VPNs from the shell, and I'm guessing using Racoon.
Anyone have any documents discussing this? I know it's a bit more technical than most of the Mac crowd would want to do, but someone's gotta have something on this.

Racoon under Mac OS X is the same as any other OS, so any info you find online should be valid. The man page for racoon.conf is a good start.

Possible conflict between one or more third party midi or audio drivers

just wondering if anyone has any new info about this error yet. i can't resolve it and still can't open many of my logic 7 files.

Hi,
In this case, I recommend you do a clean install of your operating system. Make sure you back up your important data beforehand.
Afterwards, install Logic 8, and test it with the internal audio only. In other words do NOT install any third party drivers of any kind.
This should work very well. If it does not, then I would suspect your motherboard has issues, and should be replaced by Apple.
