Is it possible to limit the hours printed on a calendar page?

For example, I want to only print the events that occur from 5:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Thank you for your help.

Go to preferences -> general -> set days starts at and days end at to your preference and show x hours at the time.
This will prevent "empty" hours from being printed, but it will print all events of that day/week.

Sorry, you would need a 5.x version of AirPort Utility to limit the Transmit Power of the AirPort Extreme.......AND.....you would need to have an AirPort Extreme version that is flat, square shaped.

Is is possible to limit the number of attachments that the mail server will receive in a message. For example if the email has 5 or more attachments reject it or through it in the bitbucket.
The reason I ask is I have a remote site that is sending me 500+ email messages with 40 attachments in each. Well with virus scanning in the conversion channel it really backs things up.
I have looked in the manual but have not been able to find anything.
I am running ims5.2 patch 1.15 on HP-UX. Soon it will be patch 1.25 when school is out.

Since each message is usually in a separate MIMEpart, you could use the conversion channel to do what you're asking, but . . .
Routing every message through conversion will be a pretty big performance hit.
How about simply blocking that particular site with an
ORIG_SEND_ACCESS
mapping entry in your mappings file?

Make a Shape > Inspector > Graphic > Tinted Image Fill > Scale to fit > browse to image > click on the color patch to change the color to what you want
or
Drag in an image > overlay it with a Shape > select the color for the shape and change its Opacity
Shapes may have Gradient and Advanced Gradient (multiple colors) fills both linear and radial. Both are in the Graphic Inspector as is Opacity.

I have an application running on a RT PXI and I'm using remote panel to access it. My licence allows me to have multiple remote connections and it's ok as I sometimes need to open multiple remote panels at the same time. However, I would like to limit the number of connections to 1 for a particular VI. Is it something that can be done?

Patrick: If you right click on your target PXI system in the project exporer, select Properties>Web Server>Browser Access you can select who you let have access to your VIs. Likewise, in the Visible VIs section of Web Services you can limit which of your VIs you want people to be able to see.
If this isn't enough control, from your run time application on the PXI system you can write a startup VI (in parallel with your main application) to monitor the Remote Panel: Connections to Clients Property of the real time server. Once this monitor application sees a connection you can take any number of actions to prevent more than one connection, deny access to specific IP ranges or what have you.
I am assuming you are using LabVIEW 2009 and MAX 4.6.1 but it may apply to earlier editions.

Does anyone know if it is possible to add the actual quicktime player that you see on your desktop to a page? I want to add a Quicktime movie to a page and still end up with the whole controller not just the little control bar.

To open the QuickTime Player (instead of playing your file in a browser window) is a feature of iWeb that is "missing". Maybe next version?

As an example.
You need to edit the iWeb created page code after publishing to do this work. It may be more work than you've planned because it does require a lot of "hand coding" to your "Published" HTML page code. And, because iWeb also uses special javascripts (.js files) to showcase your QuickTime file, you'll need to hand edit them also.
There is some freeware software (PAGEot) that can help a bit with the page coding. A Google search for it is easy.
Editing "published" pages is not for the faint of heart and may be necessary each time your iWeb site is updated.

Hi - using APEX 4.1 and having implemented a SQL calendar. All is working fine, but I would like to change the display of the weekly calendar to show 30 minute intervals, instead of 1 hour intervals. Is it possible to limit the execution time for a query?

I have an application that will run a query to gather statistics. The time window is defined by the user. Since the polling period for data collection varies, it is not possible to say that a large time window will result in a large resultSet. I may have a polling period of 1 minute or a polling period of 1 hour.
I want to avoid a user executing a query that will consume too many resources and inpact the system's performce in general. Could I stop a query after it takes more that x secs? Is there a way to write an sql statement indicating the max response time? similar to rownum?

You can also create an Oracle profile with limited resources and assign it to the Oracle account running the queries (this profile will be used for all queries run by the corresponding user). Resources can only specifed in cpu time (not elapsed time) or logical reads.

Is it possible to limit the folder size of the Shared folder?

I have setup quotas for all users who login to our Snow Leopard Server.
I would now like to setup the Shared folder that is located in the Users folder to have a maximum data limit. That way, a user can't just dump data into the Shared folder and completely fill the server.
Does anyone know if that's possible or if there is a better way to create a shared folder that is has a data limit?

I have studied the information in that tutorial. It seems that it is discussing how to setup quotas for individual users and groups on a given volume. However, what I'm trying to accomplish is setting the limit on a specific folder.
OS 10.6 Server already has a feature that I have enabled that sets quotas for each of my user's Home folder. However, each of them ALSO have access to a shared folder on the server that is not within their own Home folder. Thus, the individual quotas do restrict the specific size of this Shared folder.
So I'm wondering if you (or anyone) knows of a way to set a limit, not on a specific user or group, but on a specific folder? I need to figure out how to enable a setting that basically says: "This shared folder cannot grow bigger than 20GB no matter who uses it," for example.

Is it possible to disable the test print for when printer turns on?

We sometimes shut the printer off, and other times have storms where power often flickers. Every time the printer goes back on it automatically prints a test page and eats up ink. We are not too happy about this. Is there a way to disable that? I can't seem to find it.

Matt - just tap and hold on the PDF (even though it rendered in the mail) and you will get the Open In option.
