Is it possible to link an Audigy2 card with external haedphone & mic connections on my case as buying an external dri've bay is a bit expensi've, but i really want to make the most of my card. I currently use a usb headset and the sound is a bit naff as i have no control over bass & treble. The only advantage of this is convinience.

. There is no analog I/O pins available on Audigy 2. Only way to get it working the way you want is to split those I/Os found from back of the card. Here is a project running solving this matter, so you may want to follow it's progress.
There are also couple threads talking 'bout this matter of yours.

- CTPanel (can be found on driver installations)

The question is: We have a customer account number that corresponds to several vendor accounts numbers. Is it possible to link these several vendor accounts with the customer account ?
We only want to see in FBL5N report both customer and vendors items.

It is not possible since Vendor and customer should be 1:1 and not 1:N
If you require clearing between the customer and vendor, the following requirements must be met:
The customer number must have been entered in the corresponding vendor master record.
The vendor number must have been entered in the corresponding customer master record.
The fields "Clrg with vend." or "Clrg with cust." must have been selected in both master records.

Lenovo restricts the wireless cards to Lenovo branded units certified to work with the machine. This is done through a whitelist in the system BIOS. I recently disassembled the latest (version 3.14-1.06) T500/W500 BIOS and found the following whitelist table. This is raw big endian hex appended with what I found by searching the device ID's. Redundant entries are for varying vendor IDs.

I was hoping someone on here may be able to answer my question. I recently purchased a refurbished laptop from certain computer retailer, an HP Envy DV7-7332ea, it is an Intel i7, 16GB RAM and was supposed to come with a 2GB Nvidia GT635M. Long story short, said pc retailer did not tell me that the fault/refurbishment was with the graphics card and despite advertising it as being installed with the GT635M, it in fact had a shared Intel graphics card installed. Long story short after some truly horrific customer service - talking to my bedroom wall would have yielded the same level of responses - they have told me that the will not be fitting the correct graphics card - when pressed for an explanation or reason for this they have been unable to give me a technical explanation.
So, I'm assuming possibly the motherboard has been replaced as well which is preventing the graphics card from being upgraded. Now I realise that there could be numerous reasons this has happened, but I was hoping someone could answer me this.
Would the artchitecture of my laptop allow for a graphics card upgrade? If the motherboard has problems and these were resolved are the Envy range generally able to be upgraded?

Unfortunately, the only way to upgrade the graphics adapter is to replace the motherboard with one that has the better nVidia GPU.
Doing that would cost about as much as buying a new notebook with the graphics solution you wanted in the first place.

Can someone help me understand how I can use cable cards with external digital tuners?

Here's my situation. I currently have a PC with an internal TV tuner card. I connect the internal TV tuner card to a standard QIP2500-2 Set Top Box. I've never been very happy with this setup, although it mostly works. But, I can only record or watch one channel at a time. In addition, changing channels requires a silly IR blaster so changing channels from Windows Media Center uses the IR remote signals to change channels on the set top box.
I was thinking I could use a product like this together with a cable card from Verizon, eliminating the set top box. I read the FAQ here but I am still unclear about how cablecards work and what capabilities they enable. My questions are:
1) The FAQ says using a cablecard eliminates the use of the online TV guide. How then does one schedule recordings in windows media center? It would seem silly to have to still have a STB just to get the program guide. What do others do about this?
2) Are the cable cards provided by Verizon compatible with the above product shown in the link? The Verizon FAQ says the device must be marked "DCR" to be compatible, but looking at all the digital tuner products at NewEgg, none of them seem to be marked with "DCR". They say, "m-CARD".
3) What are others out there doing to utilize FIOS TV with a computer and not have a set top box?

I haven't used the SiliconDust product, but I have been using a similar product by Ceton, for nearly five years.
By inserting a CableCARD into the tuner, you would have access to the same channels as a set-top box. You rent a cableCARD from Verizon, just like you'd rent a set-top box from them. I have an m-card, which just allows multiple channels to be tuned at once, unlike the older s-card.
You do, however, lose Pay Per View and on-demand programming. For me, it's not a great loss.
The program guide is handled through Windows Media Center, which holds programming data for the next 14 days. You schedule your recordings there. It's also smart enough to reschedule shows, if there's a recording conflict (too many scheduled shows, not enough tuners)
Although you can contunue to use an IR blaster (I use one), you can also get a Media Center companion app from Ceton. It doesn't require a Ceton tuner...it will still control Media Center. The app costs a few bucks, but it's worth it. They make it for Android and Apple, and maybe Windows Phone. It will let you manage your schedules, and use your phone/tablet as a remote control over WiFi.
Buy a big hard drive to hold your scheduled recordings. Expect to use an average of 10-15 gigabytes per hour of HD recording. The beauty of this system, is that you can just add another hard drive whenever you need more space, sonething the STB's won't let you do.
For service in other rooms, use an Xbox360 if you have one. Or, buy a Ceton Echo extender (again, doesn't require a Ceton tuner). Don't use Wi-Fi for your extenders. Wired Ethernet is a must...most wireless won't be able to keep up.

We want to set up a music project for people with disabilities, using Garageband and various external midi devices, such as a 'Roland' keyboards, 'Alesis' AirFX, 'Alesis' SynthFX, soundbeam, 'Norton' sound sequencer etc.....is it possible?? We have used all this equipment with 'Steinberg Cubasis' software, but now want to try it with Garageband if it is possible!! Help?????!!!

I have a scenario where in R/3 i create an activity using service ' ActivityTaskCRMCreateRequestConfirmation_In' . The input to the service are the activity type = 'Task',Main Account Party(same as BP for Opportunity),Contact Party,employee responsible(which is same as employee responsible for the opportunity),Description. The problem is since the activity is not created from the opportunity, it does not appear in the planned activity assignment block of the particular opportunity.Is there any service or any other way by which i can link the activity to the opportunity?

For all people wanting to use their M-Series cards (and/or NI_CAQmx drivers) with Matlab.
Content:
Basic introduction into importing DAQmx into Matlab. Simple AI (analog input), advanced AI (synchronous)
and simple AO solutions are displayed with Matlab source code.
Motivation:
There's probably little disagreement that the new M-Series cards are superior to the old E-Series cards.
However, Matlab does (as of February 2005) not support either directly.
By buying the Data Acquisition Toolbox you can access most of the E-Series' functions from within Matlab.
But this will not help you with your new M-Series card! But it is possible to use M-Series cards with Matlab.
First step
Start by loading the NI dll:

(You can choose any alias as long as it is a legal variable name.)
If your version of Matlab is too old to provide the "loadlibrary" function directly, download it here:

After importing, you see the list of available functions.
You can also display them by

That's basically it. By using the National Instruments NI-DAQmx C Reference manual and libfunctionsview('myni')
you have access to those functions. One special thing you need to keep in mind is the fact that pointers
work differently in Matlab than in C. This problem can be solved by using the Matlab function "libpointer".
Sometimes Matlab does not require a pointer when C would. But I found that it does not hurt to
specify a pointer in this case. Whether Matlab expects a pointer can be seen in the output
created by libfunctionsview('myni')
The general syntax for calling DAQmx functions is:
[outputarguments]=calllib(alias,NIDAQmx_functionname,inputarguments)

Hello Sir.... i created a VI in Project Explorer Methode to test the working condition of DAQ card PCI 7830R which i installed in my PC , in both Sub VI and the Host VI the programme is working , now i connect the SCB 68 hardware with DAQ card thro RMIO cable , i wired the DIgital Pins of SCB68 (respectievely with DAQ card Pins) in a Bread Board an place a LED corresponding to pins to show the real world output...
Now my prob is after i connecting the wire i run the VI, in breadboard the LED's are not getting ON same status is displayed in Labview Front panel too , when i remove the wire the LED in front panel of both sub and Host VI is getting ON..... y this prob occuring? to solve this what i have to do? i want to show realworld output (LED On in Bread board) thro SCB68... how to solve this?
