Is it possible to 'Load Up' the cursor with several 'Place' items?

It happens often enough that I have a folder with several items I want to place. I can go back and forth individually and command D to the folder window choose the next item and then place in the document. When there are page after page of items, it would be handy to be able to select several items that will go on one page and then 'spit them out' so to speak, from the cursor by repeated clicks, machine-gun style. Is this possible to do?

Absolutely. Select them all. If they aren't in the correct order when you go to place, use the arrow keys to cycle through, and the Esc key to cancel an object.

The "TDMS Open" node does more than open a file handle, it will load meta data (including file/group/channels' properties) and create index structures in ram for fast accessing any raw data in TDMS file. Thus, my advice is:
1) You can save the efforts to write sub-VIs to preload properties of a TDMS file at least, since they are already kept in memory after the file is opened.
2) Since index structures are presented, the performance to read data of any part in a tdms file will not be affected by the file size and the read performance might already satisfy your application. You can have a try.

I wonder if the disk being referred to is actually your iPod which is not plugged in. Maybe something has stuck thinking the iPod should be there.
Try completely removing all the iTunes related programs according to this method.

Restart you PC and see if startup improves.
If it doesn't improve you need to consider the possibility that there is something else going on.
If The problem goes away, hopefully a fresh install will be OK.

Anyway, so I called Apple Help, and even though he was familiar with my problem, it's been more than 90 days since I purchased the laptop, therefore I'd have to set up a service agreement to get his assistance, meaning I'd have to PAY him. So now i'm stuck, and I'm just hoping somebody knows what to do to help me
I don't have any disc that I apparently need, and I don't remember ever getting one. However, if there is some other way to fix this issue, please let me know. Thanks for your time and assistance

How to move the cursor with keyboard

Is there a way to move the cursor with the keyboard? My right forearm is hurting prob because of extended use of the mouse.

While in the 'Finder' click on 'Help' in the upper menu bar....enter 'Mouse Keys' and then select 'Controlling the pointer with the numeric keypad'....only problem I can see is the MacBook doesn't have a numeric keypad...so you would need an full size external keyboard....tried it on my iMac and it works OK...

No. You cannot work on two Pages files in the same window. It is not possible to have multiple windows on the screen at the same time in iOS.

I think MBPs stopped coming with Snow Leopard installed as of the late-2011 models. That's when OS X Lion started being pre-installed on MBPs. Some earlier MBP models (2010, early-2011) had a firmware update to allow Internet Recovery (command+option+r) which would allow a reinstall of OS X Lion (purchased from the App Store) with the purchaser's AppleID/password.
I don't believe SL would even install on a 2012 MBP.

I'm having a problem with the code below. Here is the scenario I wish to perform :
1. Display a web page with my favorite navigator
2. Select a few lines from this page and copy this area to the clipboard (CTL-C)
3. When doing CTL-V (move) in a JTextPane, I intercept this action, to manipulate the data ( method clearClipBoard)
4. This method does the following
a) read the clipboard get the result into a String (this works fine).
b) loop on this String to find occurrences of a particular word, and suppress the line containing this word.
c) re-write the new String into the clipboard.
This works pretty well when having the JTextPane with a RTF EditorKit. But it does not work with an HTMLEditorKit.
I guess there is something wrong with DataFlavors, but I don't know how to set the DataFlavor to a text/html mime when writting the data back.
When testing the authorized DataFlavor, none "text/html" mimes appear and of course I get an exception for the one I'm trying to use.
Therefore the data is just a continuous string displayed in the JTextPane with all html tags visible instead of having formated data
I did a lot of tries, but I failed. below is a piece of code I'm using.

Stanislav, I'm back with my complete test code.
In fact, rather than modifying anything, I wrote this sample to just read the clipboard and write it back (without any change).
1) First, you may test it without entering my code (that's the default) . Just start my sample.
2) Go to your favorite Web browser. Select a few lines, and (copy to clipboard)
3) Go to the application and "Paste" I works fine
4) Then if you go to the initialize method, and please, uncomment the instruction where I'm defining the KeyListener (at the end of the method).
5) Restart the application and redo the same. It does not work.
In the list of flavors that I have printed (I got only 2 valid flavors, I tested both, without any success. I even try to set the flavor to null (got an exception of course).

The iPhone may have put me over the edge with severe audio interference

I just ported my sprint # and canceled sprint. So you know I'm serious about making iPhone work.
I got two dropped calls while my wifes sprint phone kept working last night.
A friend bought an iPhone gets No service at all while his buddy on T-Mobile (GSM) is fine.
I can deal with the missing features that may come along or even not. Maybe even deal with no as great a reception as a phone.
But I had the phone in car last night and it totally blasted the radio with a steady buzz. Not the normal GSM budah budah budah buht buht buht. Just a solid screeching buzz.
I was planning to use this as an iPod too !! in the car with some sort of adapter and a Dock on the stereo. But I CAN'T. If I'm blasting the stereo and get hit with a noise storm like I got in the car last night I'm gonna be really upset.
The bottom line is to keep my iPod AWAY from all audio equipment and computers !! Isn't that what it's for. The normal GSM jingle isn't so great to have coming through the audio systems either. But the solid buzz is very serious.
I had it 4 days before it did this. It may be only when on a certain GSM channel or something. It's very random. It went away after a little while. I had to put it in center console glove to make it stop.
A friend just got one and she said her TV picked it up VERY loud GSM jingle and she is used to having GSM phones and iPods.

Like any new phone/gadget there's three important factors... service... service... service... that was my only draw back about purchasing an iphone, the service provider. I have verizon and I’m able to talk from a bunker using my cell phone, and my connections never go dead from my end of a conversation.
I use to be a Nextel customer but I had enough with connection problems, and the walkie-talkie got old, service became my priority. Now with all the iphones sold through out the country someone somewhere will have a connection problem and/or phone malfunctions, that's just mathematics, we can't expect every phone to work perfectly.

On HTC Desire with the HTC android 2.2 (froyo) rom, when typing a number or a punctuation sign using a long key press, the cursor stay in place instead of advancing and positioning itself at the end of what you type.

Tested on login and password field (in sync settings). Other text input doesn't look like they have this problem. But I haven't run extensive tests.
Well when I was trying to register my self in sync I came across this issue. This can be solved by flipping the phone on landscape mode.

The trackpad of my 13" macbook pro (mid 2012) has geen going nuts for about a week now. It randomly clicks and drags the cursor to all places on screen, it randomly clicks, selects and swipes. Have tried spm reset and pressure on whole trackpad. Help?!

It goes nuts for hours and the next day it acts completely fine. My macbook is impossible to work with when the problem is active; it randomly clicks, drags, selects and even selects words (in a yellow colour) to come up with latin(?!) translations.
Ive tried the reset (option+cmd+r+p) and it seemed to work at first but now it doesnt seem to have any effect whatsoever.
Also tried to apply pressure to the entire surface of the trackpad or just the top corners; no effect whatsoever.
It's been quite an expensive purchase for a young student like me and i've really enioyed it until last week.
I'd be relieved if someone came up with a solution; especially since its warranty has expired for half a year now.
