if the player goes to the school she will find the teacher, and if the player goes to the beach se will find the coach.
How can I make the player (for example) talks to the teacher at school, returns to the main map, and goes to the beach to talk with the coach, yet if she goes to the school again, the dialogue with the teacher won't be the same with first dialogue?

point=0 should be the entrance to "dialogue1", but all I can get is "dialogue2"...

Is it possible to make audio call with the Wireless Manager by the GSM modem module?
I succeed to send SMS and to connect to HSPA data services but i dont find any reason why i can not connect to the GSM and make a call.
I have Portege R600 model PPR61E-01C00NG3
I even succeed to use the GPS that probably installed in the GSM/HSPA modem (wireless manager 5).
If anyone can explain how and if it possible to make a call please send your reply ... i wnat to use the laptop with BT instead of cell phone ....

I may be mistaken, but I do not belive that quicktime lets you burn DVDs. Search google for a program that lets you burn quicktime movies to DVD.

While the number of master pages is not unlimited, you can have quite a few in any file. I've never seen the limit documented, but it's in the hundreds, or more likely thousands. There is, I believe, a page limit of 9999 pages per document, but I don't know if that includes the masters or if they are counted separately.
You can choose a page range in the Pages panel, then assign a master to them manually, and I beleive there are some scripts floating around that can assign a master page based on the appearance of a paragraph style (for chapter start pages, for example).

I am new to AS3. I have somehow developed a auditory and visual reaction timer by taking script from here and there. I know its not accurate and I also know that I will write it correctly when I have learned the script thoroughly,
But I was checking the net about the timer class and various posts on it and I am vexed with a question "if its possible to make an accurate timer with AS3?" can somebody please tell me for sure. and I will be grateful if I know how to make it correctly. the answer is, maybe. but for, for most coders, the answer is, no.
getTimer() is accurate to within 1 ms. but that allows you to determine time/elapsed time and does not call or execute code on a regular timed schedule. it can be used with the timer class or enterframe events to do some things accurately.
however, the timer class is not accurate in the way beginning coders think. it will, on average, allow calling a function at close to the designated interval if there are no performance issues with your swf. it does not allow each function call to occur at a regular interval.

Your post is a little vague, but if you mean to ask if you can make a web app, an iOS app, or Android app using the products in Adobe Creative Suite, then the answer is yes.

Is it possible to make a DVD with non-standard sized movies, w/o scaling?

I have some software tutorial material that I want to turn into a DVD. Since the video was created as a screen capture of a particular piece of software, the finished video is an odd size of 830 x 622 (I wanted to capture the screen dumps at their actual resolution, which looks crystal clear - and that was the size of the software's main window.) Note that this is still 4:3.
I edited the material in FCP 5, made a custom sequence setting of 830 x 622, and the exported final results are QT movies with a size of 830 x 622. We then flash-encoded these for web-broadcast at a size of 640x480.
What I am wondering is: now that we want to make a DVD, can a DVD be made that keeps this video at the larger size, so that it is crystal clear? So far, I experimented with using a few of the DVD format encoding options in Compressor, and it seems to end up as 640x480 no matter what I do.

I think you might be mistaken about the 720x480. When I make a new sequence in FCP, it calls 720x480 3:2, not 4:3. If I set it 4:3 (which is one of the two allowed DVD standards), it becomes 640x480.
Indeed, I have been trying various export experiments from Final Cut with Compressor using presets such as "DBD Best Quality 120 minutes - 4:3", and they all come out as 640 x 480. Furthermore, I can import them into DVD Studio 4 and they seem to work normally for now.
So, dragging my 830x622 QT movies directly into compressor and applying the above preset results in very good-looking, 640x480 MPEG-2 video. I had hoped there was some way to keep the higher-resolution of 830x622, but apparently DVD only supports a few standard pixel dimensions (4:3 at 640x480, 16:9...)

I am completely new to Java. Is it possible to create a Windows style DLL with Java? I am working with one project written in VB.NET which needs to access functions in another project written in Java. Can anybody help me figure out how to do this?

I'm not sure what you mean by what type of project. It contains numerous data analysis functions which I want to access from a VB.NET program. From what you've written, I must assume that Java cannot be used to create a DLL and my only option is to rewrite it in another language. Thank you for the info.

NB: the In-point for subclip2 are now overlap and is in between the In-point and Out-Point of subclip1 (ie 2.5th min is in bewteen 2nd and 3rd min)

But I think maybe you misunderstood my question. Or maybe I misunderstood you answer.
I can capture the clip from my video camera into the browser without problem. My problem is after I captured them. After I captured them, I double click in the bowser & it will appear in Viewer. So, I use the method "press Cmd-U, mark new I/O, and press Cmd-U again" in the Viewer ?
Can I know what is the menu equivalent of Cmd-U ?
Question 2: You cannot use the marker technique described above, you have to use In and Out points. You can't do this in one step.
If I understand you correctly, what you are trying to say is the "press Cmd-U, mark new I/O, and press Cmd-U again" method will work even if the the clip overlap bcos everytime a Cmd-U is being pressed, a new set of I/O is being activated ?
