Is it possible to make a tab group into an app tab or bookmark button for single click switching?

Firefox 4 - I like the idea of tab groups but don't like the way you have to switch between them.
Is there a way to create an app tab or button that I can click on to switch between my tab groups?

This can be done with html5 and jQuery to create ur audio player then embedded with the web content overlay

I just downloaded and installed FF4. Why are the features highlighted in "Getting started with Firefox" such as the menu button, the app tab and the bookmark button not being displayed?

How to make a tabbed panel in fireworks for a web page?

I know fireworks is not the best place to make a web page. I have to use this because it is a mockup for school. i have the tabs up and each state made in each tab i have the appropriate tab merging with the content area. I also have 3 other states I have created for each tab. first problem i am having is that when I click on state 2,3 and 4 I my content disappears including my master page and all of my other content I don't know how to make it show like it does in state 1. my second problem is I don't want to slice the hotspots to make the tabs. I just want to make the hotspots navigate to each state is that at all possible? or do I just have to slice it? the reason I don't want to slice is because the instructor does not like it when we slice content don't ask me why.

Possible to start or send commands to an app from a dock button

Hi,
I was looking into the MFi-program, but before that I was interested in if it is theoretically possible to do this:
Start an ipad-app initiated from a dock-button (e.g. Skype) and then send commands to the app depending on other input from the dock? All over Apple Accessory Protocol.

First, I recommend restarting your phone and then resetting if it's still not working:
Restarting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red "slide to power off" slider appears, and then slide the slider.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Note: Reset your device only if you are unable to restart it.
Resetting your device
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.

Possible to make 4 image group Responsive?

So in the new Muse update, you can turn single objects in 100%-Width/responsive elements. Is there a way to do the same thing with multiple images? Like a little collage? I'm looking for a similar effect as the header at polygon.com.

to kind of fudge it. But then the issue making the individual rollover

Is it possible to make a multi-stage form that would be submitted, sent back for more info, and then resbumitted?

I'm a graphic designer and I'm trying to ease our production process using a "Production request form". It can be filled out and submitted to design and then would be sent back to gather further information and resubmitted. It would be submitted in stages as part of an approval and revision process. Is this possible in FormsCentral? How would that work if it is? How can I set that up?

whatever needs to be edited by your client should be done by having your swf load an xml file and using that data. if your client doesn't know how to edit an xml file, you'll need to make another user interface app that will edit the xml for him.

Verizon Messages - possible to make Chrome extension or PC desktop app?

Hi, I recently downloaded the Verizon Messages app from the Play Store and am trying it out to replace MightyText. The reason MightyText is so handy is its Chrome extension, which means I don't have to log into Mightytext every single day just to send/receive messages from my PC browser. Is there any possibility of creating a Chrome app/extension or even a Windows desktop app for Verizon messages?
It is a great concept and makes more sense to do all SMS/MMS management at cloud/network level rather than syncing from the handset to the service (like Mightytext does). The main issue is that logging in at 2-3 times/day (work PC, home PC, sometimes get timed out as well) to the Verizon Messages webpage on PC is getting annoying. Mightytext is more seamless in that I log in once and it maintains that for months, unless I log out.

I use the integrated messaging app on Android, Web Interface, Desktop app, and Ipad IOS app all the time. However, I agree some improvements need to be made. Of the all, android app has the best features, but it too needs some tweaking.
The Android app does not seamlessly utilize both wifi or data plans as well as cell network. In poor service area (ie my house where I have great wifi), messages are often stuck int the sending phase for a long time. And, not sure if it is related, but something is causing recipients to get repeated copies of messages (on my screen showing only once) as well as "failed" messages (with contacts actually getting).
Both the web and more so the desktop app are a little slow sending messages, which makes no sense since chatting apps have been around forever.Neither seems to sync contact info very well. But, the web app constantly signs the user out and the same rate of user account.
Lastly, the the desktop app does not sign the user out, but I can never attach images. When I want to, I sign into web interface to send. Strangely, images sync in the conversation; and, you can browse for images and it opens an edit window similar to the IOS app with options to create collage or enhance, yet the attach button does not work.

Is it possible to make the ipad remain on an app screen rather than reverting to the home screen?

We have a credit card app on our Ipad2 that we want to remain available for use 24/7; the ipad is encased in a security holder and the 'home' button is not accessible. Therefore, we want the card app to remain as the only thing visible. Unfortunately, the ipad keeps timing out to the home screen which makes all other apps available to everyone. Short of removing all other icons, is there a way to make it stay within the credit card app?

Apps don't time out. There is no specific time interval for app usage. If its going back to the home screen either the home button is being pressed (which you said is not possible) or the App is crashing.
In which case its something for the developer to look into.
You can find crash reports under Settings->General->About->Diagnostics and Usage->Diagnostic and Usage Data.
Other than that, I'm not certain Guided Access will relaunch the App in the event that it crashes, but you may want to look into it.

Is it Possible to Make a Flash Playable DVD for the iTouch

Is it possible to make the same kind of "virtual" DVD player file in Encore for an iTouch audience that works like the Flash output in Encore?
I am under the impression that the 3G iTouch can play flash files but if that is not correct then I guess my question is no applicable. I just felt that some interactive linking would be possible since the iTouch is equipped with a WiFi connection to the internet. Any thoughts or suggestions?

You know that Encore has a FLV output that produced a flash file that
behaves exactly as a DVD player with player controls. This is why I felt
that this was possible, the flash file is certainly not a DVD formatted

Thsi seems to be happening a lot. Mine just disappeared out of no where last night. I wasn't on the phone or anything. My sister texted me and I picked up my phone to see who it was and it just showed her number. I checked my contacts turned the phone off and back on and my contacts still weren't back.
Anyone get an answer from APPLE on this issue. I have never had problems with my Iphones before but have had many problems with the 4s from the battery running down now to this. I refused to upgrade when my 4s is just a little over a year old.

I know that it automatically groups tabs together from the same domain, but I read somewhere that I can make my own groups however I cannot find the option.

Just go to "Favorites" on the Safari top menu, then "show favorites" and the first group you see (with a star icon) is what shows up at the favorites tab when you open a new tab. just right click and make a new folder. Give your folder name and put all the links that you need in that folder, and when you open a new tab you will see them as a group.

Yes you can - There are multiple ways of doing it.
If you have the BPS module, you can do it over there - If you want to do it in R/3, you can there too. Go to KPZ3 to view previous budget planning for Cost Center Groups.
