OR to have the TOC expanding and collapsing by usage of a self made buttons?

You can use graphics that are slightly taller, but not wider.
If you go to this page and take a look at the example named Supply Chain Management, you will see that I have used a different TOC expand image that is slightly taller:

I had originally tried to use a larger image but it appears that Captivate limits the width.
You can use the On Success action of a button to assign the value of the cpCmndTOCVisible system variable to 1 or 0 to open or close the TOC. You can create a toggle action using a Standard or Conditional action to make the same button alternately open or close the TOC each time it is clicked.

Trying to override the default af:tree expanded and collapsed icons

I initially hijacked a thread from 2010 that was vaguely similar to what I need to ask, but a kind forum moderator split my post out to stand on its own merits.
I am trying to override the default af:tree expanded and collapsed icons I am using the following styles for my af:tree but they are not reflecting any thing on my tree with the styleclass orgType.

After working for long hours I realized that there is some problem with af:tree and treeTable. They are not taking the styles where as for the other components, every thing works fine. Is there any way to achieve the task. Could you suggest any alternative way to do this. Thanks in advance. Your suggestions for this task can really help me and my team a lot.

do the icons show without the style class reference used in the skin file? If so, then the style class for this component might be rendered differently for the tree, e.g.

can anyone tell me how to change the expanded and collpased icons on a JTree, i am using windows look and feel, and i don't know how to change the '+' and '-' icons, the other icons are changed using the DefaulTreeCellRenderer, but i haven't found a way to achieve my goal....

Is it possible to make the pasteboard and menus not so dark?

We just upgraded to the new CC version of Indesign. Is it possible to make the paste board and menus/palletes white, or at least not so dark? It is very difficult to see darker colors in the color palette. The high contrast between the dark pasteboard and the white page gives me a splitting headache.

apologies for the double post. I was not sure how this worked, and did not think it went through the first time. Can you diresct me to where that answer is? We did not see a reply regarding that.

How do I remove the "TOC" btn in the playbar WITHOUT removing the TOC "Expand/Collapse" icon?

I am working in CP7 on a project with a Table of Contents that is set to 'Overlay'. The client has requested that I remove the "TOC" button in the playbar, without removing the TOC "Expand/Collapse" icon, so that the user can still hide/reveal the TOC when necessary. The only control I can find is the "Show TOC" checkbox under Project > Table of Contents. However, un-checking this option removes both the "TOC" button AND the "Expand/Collapse" icons. Is it possible to remove just the "TOC" button in the playbar?

If you are using SWF output you can always edit the playbar in Flash and remove it.
If HTML5 you can edit the JavaScript out put to remove the button from the playbar.

Is it possible to make the document window not to hide behind the palettes?

Is it possible to make the document window not to hide behind the palettes (layers, paths etc) like in CS5? For instance if I want to make a correction in the right part of the image and zoom in, the window expand under the different palettes and I can no longer see the area which I want to correct without change the document window size. I don't want to use the Photoshop application fram because then I can't see stuff in other applications ID, mail an so on.

Generally, you shouldn't need to zoom; you can pre-set the display of message text.
To get straight to the point, you should probably try the https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/thunderbird/addon/theme-font-size-changer/ add-on to address issues with the size of the message list font.

Soory, no, it is not possible. You can only combine multiple copies of the same book into one order.

It's not necessarily the best way, but depending on the image content, you might be able to get an acceptable result with the options under Object > Clipping Path...
EDIT: So technically, the answer to your question is: No, but you can apply a clipping path to hide the background.
Also, again depending on the image content, as well as the underlying content, it might be possible to use blend modes in the Effects panel to render the background transparent.
Background removal is best done in Photoshop, where the image can then be saved as .PSD and its native transparency will be honored when placed in InDesign.

When i'm done building a sequence i want to prevent other engineers to save the sequence with the same filename (or version number).
Is it somehow possible to "hide" the save button and only use the save as function?
Or is there another possiblity to solve my problem.
The idea is to have a sequence called Sequence_V1.0.seq which i have build. When installing this in a factory enviroment I would like whenever there is a change needed in the sequence that the version number increases (manual action) (becomes Sequence_V1.1.seq). So from the moment you want to save i would like to only have the function save as. In this way you are obligated to fill in a new sequence name (original sequence will be read-only)
What would even be great if there could be a log of what the changes were

1) You could mark the file as read-only, by default you would then not be able to save over it. The user could make it not read-only though if they know what they are doing.
2) Another possibility is to lock the sequence file for editing (this is a teststand feature). Go to the Sequence File Property dialog, on the advanced tab, where it says Password Protection, set it to Not Editable and give it a good password. This doesn't however keep someone from saving another file to the same name as the locked one, but they at least won't be able to saved the locked file again without your password, nor will they be able to edit it.

Just downloaded Firefox 4 and I've started to get used to tabs being above the address bar (since it fits the theme so well), but I'm not used to the loss of the menu bar. Press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.

Well, there is no direct way to do it but you could use a screen recorder to make an mp4. Then you can import the mp4 in PS and if you have the plugin for gif then you just save aa a gif.

I am having the same issue here... just upgraded my 5s to 7.1.1 (never jailbroken - factory unlocked) and then boom... NO Service!!! Searching ... that's it. currently using Smart Telecom Sim... at first it was working for me... after 6-7 hours, it started the No Service issue. I cannot send a text or make a call...
