Is it possible to merge into a family plan when I just started my own?

So I recently, as in Feb 2013, joined the Verizon family and got my own plan and iPhone 4S. When I was in my Verizon store, not once did they mention about the family plan and how you can have up to 10 devices on it... My boyfriend's family has Verizon and they brought this up to me. Is it possible for me to somehow merge my account into theirs so that I'm not paying as much each month??
I was also told that because I just signed a new two year contract, that it wouldn't let me do that... but under their "10 devices family plan," I would still be in that same contract so I don't really see much of an issue other than how much I'd be paying monthly. BUT I'm a full time college student and anything that I can do to lower my monthly phone bill would be awesome.

Yes, the account owner of their plan should be able to do an assumption of liability (AOL) to bring your line into their account. They would be assuming liability for your new 2 year contract. You and their account owner can together call *611 and get this done.

My wife and I have our phones on the same account, but the Verizon Wireless salespeople signed her up as 4 separate lines instead of a family plan. I admit she was an easy mark for the salesperson, because she went in to get two smartphones and walked out with 3 smartphones and a home voip device. I was at work and wasn't expecting her to be taken advantage of in such a way, or I would have had her wait to join when we both had the time to do it together. Now we have a smartphone collecting dust in a drawer, and a home phone that only rings when telemarketers call.
Long story short, we are going to have to cancel two of the lines that we don't use, probably pay etf's, and all that fun stuff. If we are to keep Verizon, we will need to switch our lines from being separate services to a family plan or it just won't be worth keeping this carrier. 2gigs of data just simply isn't enough for us both, considering the family plans for 2 people that are comparably priced have 10gigs.
Has anyone here run into a similar situation? Any help you can give in fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

I compiled a dll using CVI. The dll is called as a test by TestStand.
I do have an "exe" version of the code that I use for debug with a testbed, but the behaviour is not the same as testing the actual target while running TestStand. My goal is to get as close as possible to the real events.

Sorry about that,
There are two ways as I was saying:
1. You can configure the CVI adapter to Execute Steps in a External Instance of CVI (requires CVI 6.0 or greater).
Only go to Configure->Adapters and select the LabWindows CVI adapter and click on configure and select the corresponding option.
After that set a break point in the step that you want to debug.
An external instance of CVI will be launched where you can set break points and step into the code.
2. From CVI Specifying an external process:
In CVI go to Run Specify External Process and enter the seqEdit.exe as the program name (you have to browse to the location <TestStand>\Bin\SeqEdit.exe).
As the argument you enter the name of the sequence file you want to debug.
Now just select Run->Debug SeqEdit.Exe
The Sequence Edtior will be launched and you can set break point in your CVI code and step into it when the step is executed.
Check the Using LabWindows/CVI with TestStand reference manual for more information.

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

How to Set up Family Plan when you have two Apple IDs?

I stopped short of setting up Family plan because my wife and I have two Apple IDs each: One for iTunes ad one for iCloud. This was caused by migrating from long ago Apple "cloud" services.
The set up seems to assume you have a single ID for each person and there are no instructions to set it up using hyour current iTunesa and iCloud IDs.
Has anyone successfully set up Family Plan while they have two sets of Apple IDs?

finally I found someone else with my dilemma.
I have my iTunes/AppStore ID with all my purchases and my iCloud ID with everything else.
this is a major issue that needs to be addressed.

You would have to be more specific. You though you were getting only one phone and you somehow have MORE than one phone???? If you only have one phone, you are not on a Family plan. You may be on the More Everything plan, but you can only have one phone and still be on the More Everything plan. You do not have to have multiple phones to be on the More Everything plan. It all depends on how you want to use the phone.
Yes, Verizon has single line plans, but they do not have all of the same features as the More Everything plan. Single line plans are not the best solution for all customers who only want one phone.

What is the process for transferring 2 lines from separate family plans and joining them in their own share plan?

Have each of the account owners contact Verizon to let them know that you will be doing an AOL on your lines. Then you call Verizon and explain what you want to do. Just that easy. But understand you'll have to get the new Share everything plan.

ETF on family plan when using another lines upgrade

Hey I’m trying to figure out what my early termination fee would be if I removed a line from my family plan. 2 years ago I upgraded my phone early (to the iPhone 4s) by using my father’s upgrade, and he used my upgrade a year later. This year I used his upgrade again to get the iPhone 5s. If I switch to my own plan, will the ETF be based on the phone purchased for this line, or for the upgrade used for this line?
I actually want the ETF to be the higher one so that my dad isn’t stuck with it if he decides to switch later. Is there a way to tell Verizon what upgrade I want the ETF to be based on?

When you say you want to "switch to my own plan", what does that mean. If you simply want to stay with Verizon and take your phone and start your own account, there would be no ETF. You would simply perform an assumption of liability.
If you want to go to another provider, the ETF would be based on the line you are taking to the other provider. If you take your line to another provider and the last contract on your line was signed when purchasing your fathers phone when he used your upgrade, you would be paying the ETF based upon that purchase.

Um, no....at least, not legally.
Oracle provides free downloads of much of it's software, for free, for development purposes. If you want to do anything real, you're expected to pay for it.
If that's completely out of the question for you, you should investigate open source alternatives, such as MySQL or PostGreSQL.

Change from Family Plan to Single Plan

I have a family plan with 2 lines. Mine is the primary line, but we have about a year and a half left on our contract. I need to change my plan so that I do not have the family plan anymore, and just keep my own line. My question is, will I be charged extra fees to drop a line, will my bill go down or stay the same, and will I lose my unlimited data?

Both lines started a new contract about 6 months ago? (that's how I read we have about a year and a half left on our contract) Is there someone who is to take over the second line? If you got two discounted phones 6 months ago, then both lines are under contract. There will be an ETF on the line you cancel - $350 less ~$60 if it is a smartphone, $175 less ~$30 if it is a basic phone that was purchased initially.
I don't know what your plan is now, or what you might change it to, so I have no idea if the bill will go up or down. You said you have unlimited data now, so you must have had the plan prior to this recent upgrade.... however, if you change plans (and dropping a line and switching to an individual plan will be a plan change) then it's likely the unlimited data will not carry over to the new plan.
Each line has it's own contract and upgrade eligibility. Call #UPG on each phone to see when each line is eligible for an upgrade and when the contract ends for that line (or log on to MyVerizon as the account owner and view the information for each line there)
Post back if you have further questions - you really didn't provide enough information to give you a more definite answer.

Merging two existing individuals to another existing family plan?

Has anyone done this? I think I have read that any existing AT&T device can be upgraded to iPhone, with an extension of 2 yrs on each cellular number being upgraded. But moving in-contract individuals (2) to merge with an existing family talk plan involves terminating the two individual plans, doesn't it? Is there a penalty for this? Anything else I should know?

That's interesting. I just got off a support agent chat with "Cingular, the new AT&T", and they didn't mention the $18...
But the did say, that the 2 individual non-iPhone accounts, can be upgraded to iPhone and merged into another existing AT&T Family Talk plan, as long as they are in the same region. And these caveats exist... Each number upgraded and merged into the family talk plan will have its in-contract commitment extended by 2 yrs. And, each iPhone must purchase the appropriate data plan, which are in and of themselves, not-shared.

If so, how is this done.
I know using specific IC* business roles, like IC_AGENT, you are thrown straight into the IC, but I can't see how you can get into it via the SALESPRO business role, which I assume you should be able to do.

Another Carrier - Individual into Family Plan? In-Store?

I recently got married and I'm with another carrier. I want to get the Galaxy Nexus and convert my wife's current VZW individual plan into a VZW family plan.
Can all of this be done in store? I guess first they would need to change it to a family plan, have me purchase the Nexus, then port my number over from the other carrier. I ported previously on a pre-order and it was done over the phone.
Any help?
