Yes, you can generate list of server with registry key.you need to create a custom class bases of local application and create a registry filtered discovery to check reg key is present.

Note : scom is monitoring tool but not an assert inventory tool, i do not recommend any mp configurations for reporting.

I have a problem in JMS.
I had created the tables related to queues in DB. i had also bound the queues with the JNDI names in jms.xml
Still i am unable to use the queues.
I am getting an error saying,

Sap Gears! Estou com um problema depois da atualização para NFE 4.0
Antes da atualização, o monitor de status estava ok
Foi feito atualização dos SPK, TPZ files no XI, Atualização JSPM (JAVA)
Também foi atualizado o APP do NFE e aplicado as notas correspondente ao SPK 16 (ainda não disponível )
Algum santo aqui teria um rumo pra eu seguir?

Se sim, verifique na transação SICF se os servicos do nó default_host -> sap -> bc -> webdynpro (e seus sub-nós) estão ativos.
Quando você diz Adapter Engine, significa que, ao entrar no RWB, Component Monitoring, o Status dele aparece como vermelho, indicando no "Self-test" que o item "Is the Adapter Engine running?" está vermelho?
Se sim, dê uma olhada no defaultTrace em busca de erros.
BTW, poste mais detalhes dos problemas para que fique mais claro onde é o problema.

Actually, this might not be the case since version 7 is based on native implementation of web container while version 8 is based on Tomcat (i.e. pure Java implementation). So, version 7 will definitely be more prone to platform specific issues.

When i connect sqlfire with oracle using DBsynchronizer It shows the error message as Wan is not supported for default license
When i connect Sqlfie(my system) with oracle( another system) using JDBC Rowloader .nothing is happening after some time it shows the error like"time out for pool connection to archive database.When i increase the time out also nothing is happening.

BizTalk Zombie Message not coming as error in SQL Job "Monitor BizTalk Server"

I have Zombie message in Message box
But when I run job "Monitor BizTalk Server" no error reported.
My understanding this should be reported as error in second step. Same has been in details in URL

Well....here's the deal. It seems the group knowledge on the Monitor BizTalk Job is pretty limited. Here's a better blog with some more information:

I don't think a Zombie would immediatly qualify for any of those cases because for some period of time, it still belongs to a service instance, just one that can no longer Consume it. Eventually it may qualify for condition 4 once the Completed Orchestration
is purged.

Mailboxex - is the line which i want to monitor if the values there are above 303. And it will extract the lines with all above 303 to another CSV file and 2nd is a mail script to email me the same with the attachment of the 2nd extract.

Is it possible to have a server with both a 2007 DP role and 2012 DP?
A client has been sold that as part of the migration the vendor will continue use the existing 2007 servers as DPs, and add the 2012 DP role as part of the migration - then at some future point remove the 2007 role.
Sounds a bit wonky to me, it would be great to have your insights, some MS documentation or case study - to either provide a level of comfort or give me some foundation to chime in and request they adjust their expectations... I haven't found anything yet.
It's not side by side technically, more of concurrent migration?

I want to monitor my server using SNMP to get the information about craches, response time etc of the server. What technology should I use to do the same? Can JMX help me for this and How?

Hello Frederic,
your request is a system monitoring request and not really a BPMon request. As BPMon is designed to monitor specific steps of a business process it doesn't make sense to use a wildcard for the object. A certain business process step like "Create Sales Orders" is only executed via certain transaction like VA01. So it would n't make sense to monitor also MM or PP transactions for the same process step. For this reason wildcards are not allowed.
For your system monitoring problem you either use the normal CCMS monitor for Update Errors which counts all update errors in one system (and you can include the CCMS MTE in BPMon via the CCMS monitoring object) or you decide to use the BPMon Update error monitor for selected important transactions only.
Anyhow you should first do a systematic error analysis with transaction SM13 why you encounter so many update errors at all and solve the root cause. 1000 Update errors is a very high/bad value even if you had a large system.

I'm wondering if anyone is monitoring SQL Server 2012 with Grid Control. We are using Grid Control 11g and I can't get it to work. Oracle Support tell me its not certified with 11g or 12c ... so just wondering if anyone has got it to work anyway....

The latest available version of the plug-in i.e. 12.1.0.2. doesn't support Sql server 2012. Please wait till version version 12.1.0.3 is out along with the latest version of EM 12c platform PS2 i.e. 12.1.0.3

but is not available in the Performance Data for the Views...
What did I miss? I need to create a rule but which type ? linked to the monitor?
Should I use a Rule or a Monitor or a combination?

Monitor SQL Server service Broker queue status

I need to monitor SQL Server service Broker queue status. If the queue is disabled, send me an email alert.
Can you let me know what's the best way to accomplish it using SCOM?

1) create a queue for notification
2) create a service on notification queue
3)Create an event notification for broker queue disable. Associate this with the queue that you are monitoring.
4)Create a procedure that send you and email with this event happens

Does anybody know if it's possible to monitor the TCP / IP connection on a handset from within a MIDlet?
Could we have a MIDlet running in the background that sniffs information about a user's WAP activities?
