Is it possible to open Account Search window in a new page

Hi All,
Is it possible to open Account Search window in a new page instead of displaying Account Search on Work center page.
Any pointers will be helpful.

Have a look at the NavBar component and the generic workcenter component. If you are lucky, they utilize one common method for navigation. I would try to put some custom coding in there and use it to open the new link inside a popup.
Never tried it before as the necessity never occured to me. Thus I can not help you any further. It is just an idea.
Maybe you get some good results and can post them here

Yes. Open a new tab and type or paste ''about:config'' into the location bar, hit enter, and hit enter again to get past the warning. Then paste ''browser.search.openintab'' into the filter box that shows, then double-click on the ''browser.search.openintab'' line to toggle it (it will switch to bold).
If you'd rather an addon just do the above for you and add a menu option for it, try this:

Alternatively, you can type a search into the search bar and press ''alt+enter'' instead of just enter to open your search in a new tab.

Try to clear the Google cookies and redo those Google options.

By the installation wizard, do you mean the First Run screen? If yes, please follow the steps below to disable it:
STEP ONE: If you have not already, download the Office 2013 Administrative Template files. These can be downloaded from

STEP TWO: Copy the ADMX files to %systemroot%\PolicyDefinitions and the ADML files to the language specific folder (such as en-us) under %systemroot%\PolicyDefinitions.
STEP THREE: Using the Group Policy Management Editor go to User Configuration | Administrative Templates | Microsoft Office 2013 | First Run |
STEP FOUR: Set the Disable First Run Movie to Enabled and the Disable Office First Run on application boot to Enabled

Is it possible to open 2 Firefox windows with a different set of tabs at start-up?

I would like Firefox to open two separate windows at start-up, each containing a different set of tabs.
Is there a way to do this?

If you close Firefox with these open and start Firefox with the windows from last time yes.
It is also possible to select the active tabs/windows by selecting the Home page to be "Use Current Pages".

How do i open the search window in contacts?

sometimes the search window is there and sometimes not. this is probably pretty obvious, but is eluding me. help please. iPhone 3G, latest software.

The search box is at the top of the contacts list. Tapping the magnifying glass icon at the top of the scroll list on the right (just below the + sign/add contact button) will move you to the top of the list where the search box is located.

Cannot open favourites using the Firefox tag that usually opens up the menu and a new page.. Now I get the dropdown menu but cannot open a new page, losing the homepage every time I explore, can you say WHY? all other versions worked fine!

I duplicated a document created originally in new pages 5.1 and exported that copy to the older pages '09. I see the document listed in the old pages but my computer refuses to open it demanding I download the newer pages app... which I have. Now what?

I am able to open the document through finder, but I can't with Pages '09.

I have the latest operating system on my '09 macbook pro. My old pages is pages '09.
When this document was created I didn't realize I did it under Pages 5.1, which I now realize is limited in capabilities so it can speak to iOS devices through iCloud.
I duplicated that file, renamed it "Yardening copy" and exported to Pages '09. I see the file in the pages listing, but when I try to open it there I get a warning that I need to download the new Pages 5.1... which I have on my computer. I even tried to email it to myself hoping that might work on a lark, but the file is too larg being that it includes pictures.
I can find the copy via finder, and yes, double click it and it opens... but I'm assuming it is using Pages 5.1 to do so.
Do I really have to copy and past all the info on this document onto a new Pages '09 document where I want to maintain my master library of documents?

Buttons made in Indesign to open links on the PDF in new pages

I have made an interactive PDF which has roll overs and on Click on opens a file. This all works fine appart from the linked files open in the same PDF page which is over the top of the navigation page.
I cant see any setting when making the button in Indesign to open the file in new page. also cant see any setting in acrobat to open all files in new page. (this has to be saved for anyone who opens the file)

How to open an existing Pages document?
Click Pages icon in the Dock to launch Pages.
When Pages is open, click File menu in the Pages menu bar.
Select “Open”.
When the select document dialog box opens up, highlight/select the document and click “Open”

Vi will not open, instead Labview opens a search window for the vi

I have a vi in 7.1 that, while running, locked the PC. After rebooting, Labview could no longer open the code. Instead it acts as if searching for a sub-vi it cannot find.....itself. I've seen similar questions posted from years ago with the rare and only solution from an NI engineer using LabView development utilities.

What information were you able to find? Do you receive an error when you try to open this file? You can access the labview error log from C:\Documents and Settings\(User Name)\Local Settings\Temp for Windows 2000 or XP and C:\users\(User Name)\Documents\LabVIEW Data\lvfailure log for Windows Vista. There is a second log file for the previous time LabVIEW was run LabVIEW_versionsusername_log.txt. Also try opening the VI in a later version of LabVIEW. Let us know if you get a specific error message or .cpp error. Since the VI crashed in the middle of operation its also entirely possible that it has become corrupted and this error will not be reproducible.

this might seem a simple beginners question to you, but to me it is more like a nightmare.
Is it possible to have a link in an Applet that opens up a new browser
window with a fixed address??
If yes, can anybody tell me how? or where can I find documentation about it?

Open KM Search iView Results in New Window...??

Hi Guys,
I'm having an issue whereby I want the Search Results of a KM Search iView to open in a new window. At the moment its being displayed in the existing portal content area.
Under the iView Properties for KM Search I have the "Launch in New Window" options to either:
- Display in Portal Content Area
- Display in Separate Window
- Display in Separate Portal Window
- Display in Separate Headerless Portal Window
None of these seem to make any difference.
Any ideas?

In the properties of your KM iview..
In the end there is a property known as Window Features..
It Specifies the appearance of the new window launched by an iView whose 'Launch in New Window' property is set to '1'.
So
Here enter a list of JavaScript parameters separated by commas; for example: 'fullscreen=yes, toolbar=yes' (without the quotes).
*If empty, the new window opens according to the default JavaScript parameters..

Possible to open two preview windows simultaneously?

Hi,
I'm trying to view a PDF with two preview panes at the same time, one with the text I'm reading, and one with the appendix of the document.
I'd like to see both at the same time so I don't have to keep switching pages.
Is this possible?

Something else you might try...
With the document displayed, open the Drawer and highlight your appendix from among the listed pages.
From the Edit menu choose Copy.
From the File menu choose "New From Clipboard" -- this will open your appendix page in a new pane, and will leave your main document pane unchanged. Adjust the size of each pane a bit and you should be able to view them both side by side.
