Is it possible to partially export a video using frame blending?

For example, I have a video intro that, after being uploaded and processed on YouTube, looks very choppy. However, if I export it using frame blending, it looks perfectly fine. The down side is that the rest of the video looks somewhat more blurry, as frame blending tends to do. I like how fluid the intro is when frame blended, but I perfer the rest of the video when it's just exported normally. I found an option called frame blend under the clip's video options, making me think that I could fix my problem, but it didn't seem like it did anything at all when I exported it. Is what I'm trying to achieve actually possible, or will I just have to deal with it, one way or the other?

1.  I export in H.264 with the preset HDTV 720p 29.97 fps High Quality. I would use the YouTube preset, but it compresses the audio to a point where it sounds terrible. I'm sure there's a way to fix this, but I don't know enough about it to do so myself.
2.  My sequence also runs at 29.97 fps.
3. The intro consists of several game capture clips all .avi at what I think is 29 fps. Many of the clips are sped up to at least 200%.

  • Final Cut Pro 4:  Problems exporting video using QuickTime conversion

just recently updated my Mac to version 10.4.11 -
Ever since, Final Cut Pro won't let me Export my video using QuickTime Conversion.
Its starts exporting, then freezes at 79%. A general error message pops up.
I know its not a space issue, because I have 20GB left and the video i'm exporting is only 2 GB.
I installed all the software updates.
Can anyone help? Do I need a new version of Final Cut?

    1) this is the final cut express forum not the pro.
    2) 10.4.6 is not the latest, try updating to 10.4.11
    3) after any system update you must run disk utility to repair permissions or errors that may not have been addressed during the upgrade process.
    4) have you tried exporting as a reference movie then playing it in qtpro, if ok then export.
    5) what are you trying to export too?

  • Exporting desaturated video from Quicktime

I recorded a video with my new Flip Mino HD, opened the mp4 file in QT, and adjusted the color and contrast settings in the movie inspector. How do I now export an mp4 with these settings?

Since you re-exporting the video use the filter options in the export window. There's an option button above the save button. And then click on the filter button to set your color.

how do i export a video made in imovie to youtube in the best quality possible?

You can only export in the same resolution that you imported.
That is if you shot in 720p you cannot export in 1080p.
Share > YouTube and select the highest resolution available.

  • Is it possible to export a video from GarageBand to iMovie, Soundtrack or FinalCut?

Wondering if it's possible when you make a video/movie and you've saved it in GarageBand, to export the video to iMovie, Soundtrack of FinalCut?
    thanks,

First of all, you don't save a video in GarageBand.
You can import a vidoe file into a GarageBand Project
You can add music, sf, or anything else to that video
At the end you use the  "Export Audio to Movie" command.
THe result is a quicktime movie file (you can choose the format in a dialog window). That video file can be imported into any video editing software, including iMovie. There is no need to export it to iTunes.
If you have the video already in iMovie. then you cold export only the audio in GarageBand and import that audio file back into iMovie. Just make sure that they stay in sync.
    Hope that helps

  • Is it possible to export a video at under 500mb???

I have a 3 minute video that I am trying to export and upload to Vimeo who caps your upload at 500mb. Yet, I can not export a .mov file under 655mb. There is no approx. file size shown for .mov for some reason like there are for other formats, and if I change formats, nothing works. Either the file type isn't supported or with formats like .mpg, Media Encoder exports two files, an MPG and a XMP which is ridiculous, I don't care about an XMP and MPG isn't even registered as a movie file by Quicktime.
HOW do I export my video in ONE file at under 500mb? Can it even be done? What settings can I reduce if I make it a Quicktime video? I tried turning down the quality but it had zero effect on file size somehow.

Set AME to quicktime then the codec to h264. You have to pull up the advanced settings for the kb/s. 2000-3000 for SD, 4000-6000 720p HD should be a good start.
Here's the catch: when AME loads up it resets the bitrate (your quality and file size) so you have to go in and change it again. It's a known bug, but if you want a quicktime it works.

  • Is it possible to transfer Full-HD videos (from a Full-HD camcorder) from iMovie 11 to compressor 4 and create there a AVCHD DVD which can be played in HD quality at a PS/3?

Is it possible to transfer Full-HD videos (from a Full-HD camcorder) from iMovie 11 to compressor 4 and create there a AVCHD DVD which can be played in HD quality at a PS/3?

    Yes.
    In iMovie use SHARE/Export Movie.
    http://help.apple.com/imovie/#mov3a9e5615
Choose 1920x1080 (or size of your choice.
Give it a name and location.
You can drag this file into Compressor.
In Compressor, use "Create BluRay Disk"
    That should work fine.
There is another alternative, where you could skip the DVD and Compressor.
    Just SHARE/EXPORT USING QUICKTIME
    Choose Movie to MP4
In Options, choose h.264 as the Codec.
Choose a bit rate of 16000 or less.
    Create the movie.
You can then put it on a USB thumb drive and play it on the PS3.

    9 hours??!
Twice the length of a cinema epic?
How are you expecting to distribute it?
    iDVD encoding settings:
    http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?path=iDVD/7.0/en/11417.html
    Short version:
Best Performance is for videos of up to 60 minutes
Best Quality is for videos of up to 120 minutes
Professional Quality is also for up to 120 minutes but even higher quality (and takes much longer)
That was for single-layer DVDs. Double these numbers for dual-layer DVDs.
Professional Quality: The Professional Quality option uses advanced technology to encode your video, resulting in the best quality of video possible on your burned DVD. You can select this option regardless of your project’s duration (up to 2 hours of video for a single-layer disc and 4 hours for a double-layer disc). Because Professional Quality encoding is time-consuming (requiring about twice as much time to encode a project as the High Quality option, for example) choose it only if you are not concerned abo
In both cases the maximum length includes titles, transitions and effects etc. Allow about 15 minutes for these.
You can use the amount of video in your project as a rough determination of which method to choose. If your project has an hour or less of video (for a single-layer disc), choose Best Performance. If it has between 1 and 2 hours of video (for a single-layer disc), choose High Quality. If you want the best possible encoding quality for projects that are up to 2 hours (for a single-layer disc), choose Professional Quality. This option takes about twice as long as the High Quality option, so select it only if time is not an issue for you.
Use the Capacity meter in the Project Info window (choose Project > Project Info) to determine how many minutes of video your project contains.
NOTE: With the Best Performance setting, you can turn background encoding off by choosing Advanced > “Encode in Background.” The checkmark is removed to show it’s no longer selected. Turning off background encoding can help performance if your system seems sluggish.
And whilst checking these settings in iDVD Preferences, make sure that the settings for NTSC/PAL and DV/DV Widescreen are also what you want.

  • Export / Render Video Broken?

    MacPro1,1 (32bit kernel, 64bit OS X 10.7.5)
    x5355 8-core 2.67GHz CPU,
    32GB RAM,
4-Drive RAID0 System and data drive (four new 3TB Seagate Barracuda [fast] drives)
GTX 570, 1.3GB - Recognized by PhotoShop for OpenCL and OpenGL
PhotoShop CC (v 14.1.2 x64) Trail (about 5 days into it)
    1) I can open a video and play it back at the speed of the video.
    2) I can not get playback faster than 1 fps if there are any filters applied - the pre-render / buffering isn't working at all.
    3) I can not "Render Video" by choosing either "Render Video from the menus or the Export Arrow button in the GUI.
As soon as I select either I get a Progress Bar that that says "Initializing Video Export" but never finishes. I have waited as long as 4hrs and still no dice.
I've tried with more than a few different videos and the result is always he same.  Here are three of the videos I have tried with:

You are now chatting with 'Dilip'
Dilip: Hello. Welcome to Adobe Technical Support.
    Dilip: Hi Tesselator.
    Tesselator Tess: Hi. http://forums.adobe.com/message/5725211
Tesselator Tess: Export render video isn't working.
Tesselator Tess: What could be the issue?
Dilip: I understand that you are facing issues in using Photoshop, is that correct?
    Tesselator Tess: yes
    Dilip: Thank you for confirming.
    Tesselator Tess: np
Dilip: May I please have the serial number of your product?
Tesselator Tess: where do I find that?
Dilip: May I know from where you have purchased your product?
Tesselator Tess: This is the CC trial version. I'm using the one month period before purchasing.
Dilip: Thank you for the information.
    Tesselator Tess: np
Dilip: I am sorry, the support for trial version is limited.
Dilip: However, let me help you with the best possible way.
Tesselator Tess: OK, thank you! (note to self: Trial is limited even tho it says it's the full version)
Tesselator Tess: Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Dilip: Support is available for your product at  https://www.adobe.com/support/ please open this website and do a small research, to get the solution about the issue that you are facing.

Tesselator Tess: I already did that.

Dilip: We also have User to User forums available for any additional queries which are periodically monitored by Adobe personnel as well as the user community.
Dilip: I am sorry, I would have been glad to help you if that is possible.
Tesselator Tess: And that too. Here: http://forums.adobe.com/message/5725211
Dilip: Support for trial version is possible only through support portal and user forums.
    Tesselator Tess: That's terrible.
Dilip: I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Dilip: Is there anything else I can help you with?
Tesselator Tess: Um, you could tell me if there are any known issues with the Render Video feature.
Dilip: I am from the Install and Download Team, I do not have more information on that.
Dilip: Please visit Support Portal and User to User forums for more information on that.
Dilip: Is there anything else I can help you with?
Tesselator Tess: OK, who is from the Feature Not Working department?
Dilip: Tesselator, I do understand your concern but Support for the issue you are referring in Trial version is only available in User to User forums and Support Portal.
Dilip: Do you have any other questions for me today other than this?
Tesselator Tess: Which department would be relevant to my issue?
Dilip: We do not have Support for Trial version, Support for Trial is only available in Support Portal.
Tesselator Tess: I'm not asking for support for the trial version at this point. I am asking for a department name.
Dilip: I am sorry, there is no Team that supports for Trial.
Tesselator Tess: How about for the purchased product?
Dilip: The Support for the Issue is available with our Photoshop Team but they can only help you with a valid Photoshop Serial Number.
Tesselator Tess: Is there a list of known issues on-line somewhere?
Tesselator Tess: there isn't at the two URLs you already provided BTW.
Dilip: I am sorry we do not have more information on that.
Tesselator Tess: OK, thanks. Do you realize that in the time it took to tell me "Sorry Charlie” 5 times you could have told me of a fix or looked in your DB for related issues?
    Tesselator Tess:
Dilip: I am sorry for the inconvenience.
    Tesselator Tess: Me too.
Dilip: Do you have any other questions for me?
Tesselator Tess: No, just those two.
Dilip: Thank you for contacting Adobe. Good Bye.
    This chat session has ended.
    2:48 PM
Is the trial version of Photoshop CC a function-limited (cripled) eddition or is it the full-featured version same as the purchased product? I had always thought they were the full versions but I thought I might check to make sure.

I've tried several times to export my video in any possible way.
It always says that it takes a couple of hours and stops when it has 15 min left.
Already checked if I have enough space. iMovie also work really slow. Is the video too big for iMovie to handle?

You find the Share menu to the far right in the toolbar, as dastoelk wrote.
