Is it possible to play albums consecutively?

I have a series of audio books telling a continuous story, which I originally ripped in Media Player when I had a different MP3 player. At that time it seemed easier to rename the CD tracks so that the several CD's of one story played as one long album.
Now I am using Itunes and an Ipod Touch and would like to be able to play the whole series (15 "albums") consecutively on my Ipod without me having to change albums and play from Track 1.
I am posting this message in the Itunes group as I suspect that it will require some kind of formatting there, which will either need to be duplicated or mirrored on my ipod.
I have already made them "Disc 1 of 15" "2 of 15" etc in the Info but this didn't have any effect. Any other ideas? Or even if you know it cant be done, would save me

Create a Playlist and add all the albums to it then sync it to your iPod. When you want to listen to the book, access and play it from the Playlist instead of from the the album selection.

There were 24 pages on one post on a similar, but not quite the same subject. You'd think that someone in that faceless, nanny knows best, ivory tower would have taken some notice by now. But anyway, I thought I stood more chance of getting a response to this if I started a fresh thread. Please excuse me if this is the wrong thing to do.
My problem is that I like listening to whole albums, in my car while I'm driving. I like to listen to albums in the order in which they were created. Yes Apple. In the past albums were created with a definite planned listening order, and they still are if you avoid listening to the factory boiled plastic pop a la Dustbin Beaver. When I'm driving I don't then want to have to stop to unlock my phone so that I can select the next album - it's not always convenient on the M3 and Mr. Plod takes a very dim view of it anyway.
Can anyone tell me whether it is possible to play albums sequentially on an iPhone 5 using 'Music' or whether I should be better off using a different app for this - please suggest one.

Create a playlist and place the tracks (by album) in the playlist in the order in which you wish to hear them.
Alternately, if you wish to play several albums by a specific artist, the albums are already sorted by date (assuming the track are properly tagged to begin with).
As you suggest, investigate some third party apps to see if any organize in the manner you are seeking. However, I doubt it. While I appreciate the empahasis on albums (I too tend to listen to albums, not play list of assortments of tracks), the scenario you are describing is far from a typical use case for a mobile device music app.

when you click on artists, and then select the artist you want, it can ither go straight through all of the chosen artist's albums and songs in cd order, or you can put it on shuffle mode so it can put songs in a random order.

I’ve recently had to buy an iPod because Sony’s new players have removed gapless playback and so far I’m extremely happy with it, however I’ve encountered a slight issue and I was wondering if somebody could tell me if it is possible to skip albums and yet still play all songs.
For example, I want to listen to all songs. Via the menu I can select which song I want to start with, after a little time I realise that I want to jump to next album – is there a way that this can be done without just hitting ‘next’ the allotted number of times or by using ‘Cover flow’ because the problem with cover flow or using the album menu is that it will then only play the selected album rather than playing all tracks on the player starting at the selected album. Even using the ‘All Song’ menu is not ideal because it does not automatically go to the current song.
Therefore is there a button combination that will jump to the next album or is there a configuration setting that will allow me to play all songs on the player even if I select an album via cover flow etc. The new Sony players have an option to play ‘all’ or ‘selected range’ i.e. album or artist etc and I think that such a feature, if it doesn’t already exist, would be useful.

Short of marking the albums you don't want to play in the shuffle mode in iTunes (which I believe you are saying you don't want to happen) then there really isn't a way to skip a whole album. I'm a little confused on what you are calling ranodom mode and what you are calling album shuffle mode. When you say random mode, are you referring to when a specific playlist is played in shuffle mode or are you referring to when every song on your ipod is being shuffled? My original answer above was assuming you meant when all songs on the ipod is being played.

How can I play album songs in their correct sequence -- without having to create a playlist for each album? I like to play songs from my primary "Music" Library, sorting to albums or songs via it.
I've imported songs from albums that for some reason do not play in proper sequence: I'll sort the Library by "Album" but, even though the tracks are correctly sequenced in the "Get Info" box (Track Number "x" of "x"), they always play in some other order.
I have tried all the sorting choices under "Album" but to no avail. Any ideas?
I know I can rearrange the songs by click-and-drag -- IF I create a playlist and then re-order them. Really??

I checked the shuffle switches, and they were all turned off.
None of the threads that seem to address this issue effectively.
Don't have this problems with my iPhone 4GS.

Did a restore without any media being put on, here are the stats, and the increase from the original posted:

Although the hours, and temps don't matter much I included them anyway. Here are the stats after another restore, and all the media being added (increase from original, not last restore):

The pending sectors went drastically down, which is awesome, lot less songs are skipping.. Except the reallocs went significantly up as well, I assume that would be due to the remaps of the pending sectors? And should I try more restores to see if that would help try to fix the problem, assuming it would be fixing desk/memory errors?

I have the new GoPro2 action cam and a Ipad2. I bought the connector kit for memorycard and USB. I was hoping that I just could take the memorycard and upload the videos to my Ipad2, but I was wrong. I don't work! I have been filming on the highest quality resolution. It is only showing as an grey object.
Can anybody help me with this, is it possible to play the movies?

Select a Photo in the iPhoto Window and click on the 'i' button lower right. This uncovers the Info Panel, and you can assign a Place there. Search on the name of the place and then move the pin to where you want it. This is all covered in the Help and in the tutorials.

My understanding is that you should definitely be able to play youtube videos using a Wi-Fi network. To me, it sounds as though the issue may be more network related as the videos will work over cellular data. I have a couple questions I believe could help narrow down the exact issue:
• Is the device able to browse to other websites while connected to Wi-Fi, or will no sites work?
• Are there other devices (iPads, iPhones, computers, etc) that work on the same Wi-Fi network?

Whatever order you place the songs in the playlist in iTunes will be reflected with the playlist on the iPhone after syncing. Select and drag/place the songs in whatever order you want the songs to be in the playlist in iTunes followed by a sync.
