Is it possible to have two mp3 files with the same name?; I.e if I'm ripping a Bach CD, there are several tracks that have the name preludium, and I hate to do the rename.
Also, will I be able to sync my Zen so that It will only recieve new files that have been added since I last connected my Zen to my computer?

I believe same filename is OK because the Zen Player does not really care about filename. As far as I know, the Zen database of the tracks in the player is based on the track information such as Title, Artist, Album and Genre. This means you cannot have two tracks of the same Title, Artist, Album and Genre in the Zen Player.

Is it possible to play two videos at the same time in Captivate 4

My idea is to create some e-learning material which shows a screencast of a powerpoint presentation and a video in the top left corner of the screen showing somebody presenting the slides.
Does anybody know if it is possible to do this with Captivate 4?
I know this functionality is provided in Adobe Director.
Any help regarding this will be greatly appreciated

Do you have the eLearning Suite? If so, you have Adobe Presenter available to you. If you don't, you should be able to download the Presenter installation file and evaluate it.
Presenter is an add in for PowerPoint. The neat thing about it is that it provides for a Table of Contents type of functionality as you see is configured in Captivate. But the twist with that is you are able to do something you cannot do in Captivate. You are able to insert videos inside the TOC area!

Is it possible to run two applications at the same time on ipad.

Hi,
I would like to know of it is possible to play media apps (movies or bbc iplayer programs) while surfing the Internet with safari on ipad2. Even if I can't actually see the video while I'm surfing the net but can still hear it and can jump between the Internet and the movie without the movie stopping.
Somehow I think the answer to this is no but then I also thought it wasn't possible to do print screen images with ipad until someone showed me how.
Can anyone help?

Prior to iOS 6, it was possible to "multitask" with some media like playing audio from YouTube video while playing a game or surfing the web, but it changed in iOS 6.
There are always a few surprises in major iOS releases, so who knows, it might work again in iOS 7. I never set my expectations for anything other than what Apple talks about publicly, but like I said, you never know.

2 real-time plots + curve fits on the same x-y graph

Hello all-
Per the title, I'm trying to plot two series, both in real time, plus curve fits for each series on the same x-y plot. Some background on the subject - this will be used to show the temperature distribution across a counter-flow heat exchanger. So the x-y plot will plot temperature vs. position for two different flow streams - a hot flow stream, and a cold flow stream. I would like to plot them both on the same graph so the temperature relationship between the two flows can be clearly seen. If I can plot 2 series with simple lines connecting the points that would be fine, but would prefer some smoothing on the line or using a curve fit if that is possible to do in real time.
A screen shot of my block diagram is linked below. As you can see, the diagram is symmetrical with the inputs from the cold flow being processed on the top, and the inputs from the thermocouples in the hot flow being processed at the bottom. I've got 2 issues:
1. Plotting 2 series on the same X-Y graph in real time. (I've done this before, but never in real time). Am I correct in assuming, if I append the array so it is a 3-D array (X, Y1, Y2), that I can plot both series on the same X-Y graph? The individual X-Y graphs are functional, but I would like to combine them.
2. I've circled a bundle output which outputs the X,Y values of a curve fit. The output here is a string (pink wire), so I cannot plot it on the X-Y graphs which are shown, due to it being 2 different data types. Is there any way to plot the curve fit on the same graph? Is LabVIEW capable of doing this in real time?
Thank you for any help... I realize that some of the answers here may be obvious, but visualizing what's going on in LabVIEW is a bit of a challenge for me, since I'm used to seing text-based code in VBA and MATLAB.

The output you have circled is a cluster of two 1D arrays, not a string.
XY graphs take a varirty of inputs (array of points, cluster of x and y arrays, complex arrays, etc.) but you cannot mix datatypes in a single graph. Since you are graphing arrays of points (a point is a cluster of an x and y scalar), you need to do the same for the data you circled. Simplest would probably be to just wrap an autoindexing for loop around the bundle function. See how far you get.

Yes, it is possible. If one is CI (PAS) and the second one is an AS (AAS). In this case there will be only one database.
If you are talking about two separate SAP systems with separate databases (Eg: A BI and an ECC) with the same SID then the problem will be with the database (Eg: Oracle)
The database will be installed under /oracle/SID/112_64 (ORACLE_HOME) unless one database is running on 10 G and in that case the ORACLE_HOME will be /oracle/SID/102_64
The next issue will be with the SAP file systems like /sapmnt/SID
The most important problem will be with the switch to the sidadm and orasid users and the conflicts there. If there is a need to stop one of the SAP systems and if you do a switch to sidadm and issue a stopsap command which system will be stopped ?
These are few of the many problems I can think of.
So if we are talking about two separate systems with their own databases I would rule out the possibility of having two systems with the same SID.

No. Home sharing is used to connect two running instances of iTunes across a network. When you switch users on the computer all applications running on the other profile are suspended.
You can however share your respective media folders so that they are visible in either profile and then copy over any content that you want, or you could create a single joint library which you use when either user is logged in.

Two threads in the same class ? Is that possible ?

Hello, I am trying to use threads to move two images around the frame. And I am wondering if it is possible if it is possible to create two separate threads that act differently in the same class, for each of the image.
Is just that so far I can't see a way since, by implementing Runnable, I'll need to overwrite the run() method. Which in a way just allows me to manage one image.
Of course I can do two separate classes (each implementing Runnable) for each of the image, but since I think it may be an overkill, I rather to do it in just one.
So, is that possible ?

I am trying to plot two sets of data points in 3d graph. I also need to make a set of data with one color and the other set with a different color. For example, I need to plot 10 (x,y,z) data points in 3d. Maybe 6 points need to be blue, and the other 4 red. Could you tell me how?

What is your LabVIEW version? (things are a bit different in 8.6).
Basically, you create multiple instances of the VI that gets placed automatically when you drop the 3D graph and then wire a different number to the plot ID at the bottom.
You define all the plots (color, style) via the properties dialog.
Have a look at my example posted here. One plot is "blue dots" and one is a "shaded surface". See how far you get.

Two tables on the same page. Is it possible?

I followed the multi-slect sample in Winston's blog and everything is working. However, when I tried to put two tables on the same page, the selections are all messed up. When I looked at the code again I realized the line
RowKey rowKey = (RowKey)getValue("#{currentRow.tableRow}");
in the setSelected(Object object) method.
In the case that there are more than one tables on one page, how does the code which table it is refering to? Or how the code should be different so we can have multi tables with selectable rows on the same page? Thnx.

Print data in two line in the same column

In a tabular Report I want to print a column (eg:Description,) in two lines in the same cell.
Since the description is too long. Is it possible in report 6i. Or any other solution for this?

For the Description field set the Vertical Elasticity to EXPAND. Then it will adjust automatically based on data.

How can i distinguish two controls with the same name?

I'm recording automated tests with VS 2012 Coded Ui Test for testing a web application.
In that web application it is possible to enter data in something looking like a list.
There is - per example - an Edit control sitting on a ColumnHeader with the name/text "Description".
Below that header is another Edit control for data input - containing the text "Description" too and which lies on a Cell control.
When i playback my recording, Coded UI Test looks for a control with the name "Description" and gets the one, it finds at first.
In that case the Edit on the ColumnHeader, which causes an exception, when the Text will be setted with the data input from the recording.
Unfortunately the controls have no ID.
Is there a way to distinguish controls with the same name?

Based on the blog "How does “Coded UI test” finds a control ??", we know that to really find a control, it would be related to the unique properties as the search properties,
so if two controls have the same property, please use other unique property as the search property would be better.

How can I have two fields with the same name if it makes sense?

Hello, folks :)
I have a pretty hard time figuring out how I can have two text fields with the same binding name.
The whole problem is that when I need two fields with the same binding name they are still differnent coz they have the same name but differnt indices.
I should make a form filled at runtime by merging a pdf form file and an fdf file data file. And I have no choice to do it differently. And my form file needs some data like customerName, companyName twice in one form. But there's only one possible buinding name indexed zero.
How can I create a field with absolutely the same name or is it just impossible due to possible name conflicts? And is there a workaround to this problem? I just need one piece of data repeated in different places.

One pdf should be mergred with an fdf with as the result of their merge a new filled and flattened form. I have no control over fdfs their are generated by Oracle and I can not fill the form using XML files coz this process should be integrated in a working application.

I just thought about a really ugly workaround with a server-side script adding values to fdf files but it's a bit of work and tests and personally i think it's a bad idea :-(

Sharing two folders with the same name

Hi all.
I have two folders with the same name and I would like to be able to share these under different share names. Problem is, this doesn't seem to be possible.
For instance, try doing this in File Sharing under Server Preferences:
* Click +, add /Data/Media
* Edit permissions on "Media" to permit guest access
* Click +, add /Volumes/Drobo/Media
* Edit permissions on "Media" (make sure you click the right one!) to permit guess access.
This appears on the surface to work, but what it has actually done is to delete the share for /Data/Media. If you exit the File Sharing pane and go back into it again, it will be gone.
Server Admin has the ability to rename a share's name from AFP,SMB,FTP,etc. but this doesn't appear to help either -- I tried adding the second media first, renaming its shared name to Media2 over in Server Admin, and then adding the first. Server Preferences just deletes the second one.
Such a basic thing as being able to rename the share from Server Preferences would appear to be enough to get around this, but since Apple didn't make it possible, I have no idea how to proceed.
Does anyone else have this working, and how did you do it?

The best way to solve this, would be make sure you use database paraneter GLOBAL_NAME, to change your database from lets say orcl1 to orcl1.mycorpdomain.com, by this you can make sure each database actualy has a different name. Your other database then could be named orcl1.example.com.
When chaning the display name in EM you might face other issues later on when for instance trying to run a restore using EM for one of these databases.
