Is it possible to print one document to two printers?

I need to print one document to two printers at the same time.
Can I accomplish this with printer pools in OSX Server? I've found several 3rd party vendors for Windows, but nothing for the Mac.
Any help would be great!

Is there a way to get the print pool to print to both printers at the same time? With the pool it just switches the jobs between the two right?
I actually need to click Print once, and have it print on both printers.

Is it possible to print a document exactly as it appears on the screen?

Like the topic question asks, is it possible to print a document exactly as it appears on the screen? I'm fairly new to indesign and I designed my company's manual recently, taking us away from doing so in Word. I fear I may have made a very amateurish mistake and am dreading having to go back and reposition everything. Some of the problem can be alleviated if I can find a way to print the document exactly as it appears on my monitor or when I export the file to PDF.
What's happening is the page numbering and other items I set up outside of the bleed area (I think that's what it's called...the red box that appears in each document) are refusing to print properly. I want the entire right hand corner of the page to be taken up. Currently, only part of the image is printing. If I choose "scale to fit", then the entire image prints, but it doesn't take up the entire right hand corner. Instead, the graphich repositions itself about an inch away from the edge and bottom of the document.
Failing that, is there a blanket way to scale all items in indesign?

In regards to the other question I asked though, is it possible to scale all the items on a page by a set amount? Say for instance I have the font too large on all of the pages in the document and the images are also a little oversized, is ther some way I can scale all of the images down a certain percentage without having to go into each item individually?
Well, kinda. If you select everything on your page at once (or if they're already grouped) then you can hold down Control, Shift, and Alt while grabbing a corner to resize and it'll maintain all of the ratios, including scaling the font size. You'd only be able to scale one page or spread at a time, but you could do it that way. Alternately, you can place your InDesign document into another InDesign document, where the source InDesign doc will be displayed as an image in the target doc. So, you could scale each page just like an image.
However, I'm reluctant to advise that you do that - mostly because I don't understand what you're doing. In my understanding, everything outside of the crop marks is literally going to wiind up on the cutting room floor, so the fact that you have content like page numbers in your bleed makes no sense to me. Is it intended for the press operator who's going to be doing the cutting? We can answer your questions, but honestly I think you should describe what you're trying to achieve in the end with a bit more detail, otherwise the forums regulars will answer your questions at face value and maybe help you, or maybe just help you dig a deeper hole for yourself without realizing it.

Mail merge and print one document at a time?

Hi all. I'm an Apple revert. I'm currently using the i7 iMac. Previous Apple computer was a //e.
I print an 8 or 12 page newsletter for my work. I want my printer/copier to fold and staple each document individually. Pages seems to send all documents to the printer in one huge file. How do I mail merge and print one document at a time?
[In Windows Publisher, there's a registry hack to make Pub print one at a time. Anything similar on a Mac?]

Printer only printing one document at a time....

I have a Deskjet 990cxi and it is only printing one document at a time. I've tried changing the settings in the printer menu, and no matter what I do, it still only prints one copy of the document.
I've uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers, and everything.
Just so you know:
XP Service Pack 3
HP Deskjet 990cxi
Connected by USB
and---get this---there's NO ERROR MESSAGE.

This is caused by the failure of one of your cartridges. Remove the black cartridge and print a test page. Does the printer print at normal speed? Is so the black cartridge was the issue and should be replaced. If not then put the black cartridge back in and remove the color cartridge and print test page. If the printer now prints normal speed the color cartridge was at fault and needs to be replaced.

Can only print ONE document then have to reset Airport Express to print aga

The title says it all.
Everything used to work fine until I installed Leopard. Now I can only print one document; subsequent documents will hang at 16% or 28%, etc.
Anyone else had this problem?

No, you are not the only person with the problem. I have tried it with both a "g" and an "n" Express (I bought the "n" hoping it might work better; nope). I have a Samsung CLP-510 plugged in to it. It prints one document, then I have to reset the Express before it will print again. When it tries to print the next document, it flashes "Unable to open device (read failure)!" briefly, then pauses the printer.
It's been driving me crazy since I installed Leopard, so I basically gave up on the Express as a print server as there seems to be no cure, and Apple seems to have no interest in fixing it. (I have been through several firmware updates since the problem started, and none have made any difference).
+Oddly, though, just now after the seventh reset, it accepted 6 of the documents in my queue (I had 22 in the queue, and I've just been waiting for it to pause, then resetting the router for each document) before it failed.+

I can only print one document LJ200 M276 and Dell Latitude e5430

I am using a HP Laser Jet 200 M276 All-in-One printer with my Dell latitude E5430 The problem is when I print a document the printer will work normally but if I try to print a second document it will not work at all. When I bring up the printer Queue it shows that the printer is still in the process of completing the first document (which has already been printed) and the second document is in the Queue waiting for the first to be completed. The only way to proceed with the printing is use task manager to close the application, shut down and reboot. Then again it only prints one document. I have installed the latest driver and updates and unplugged & replugged the printer and rebooted the computer.

The driver should be part of OS X, not something you download.

I suggest you delete the printer, turn it off, restart your system, and turn the printer on and add it back in.

HP Officejet Pro 8500a software stalls after printing one document,

Hi, HP Officejet Pro 8500a, Product No CM755A. It used to work well, but now I can't rely on it to print more than one document. If there is a delay of several minutes before I try to use it again, then no print occurs: the screen on the printer says e.g. 'copying document' or 'printing page 1 of 1', but the printer makes no sound and stays at that stage for ever.
Can I do a soft or hard reset of the printer software in the printer, or solve it some other way? At present I have to turn it off and then on again, wasting ink.
I can take it back and replace it under extended warranty, but don't want to do that if there is a simpler way to fix it.

Noise after printing one document before proceeding to print another

i am using printer C309a photosmart and am able to print the document.However, between each printing, some noise come out of the printer sound like some where something is very tight. have checked there is no paper jam and each time document comes out alright with no printing issue.

Hi all - is it really possible to use one license for two computers or is it just a rumor?

I heard that it would be possible that you can use one license for two computers. Is that the truth? And if so - how does it work?

Adobe CC or any perpetual previous version allows you to install & activate it two times (on the same computer or other different one).
As per End user license agreement, only one computer can be used at one given time.

PLD: How to print 1 document to 2 printers

Dear All,
Can someone tell me how to print 1 document to 2 different printers? I need this for my delivery documents. 1 copy goes to 1 printer with normal A4 paper (return with signature copy) and the other needs to go the the other printer which has pre-printer paper with a logo and different color paper (for client to keep copy).
Can this be done with normal functionality or does this require an add-on?

This can be done using a UDF.
If Value of UDF is 1 then all the field related to the Deliver document has to Print
If Value of UDF is 2 then all the field related to the Pre-printed format has to print
This can be done by changing the UDF whenever your are taking the print out you have to select the UDF so that they can take the Delivery Document and Pre-printed document by using Formula field in the Single Print Layout.
But you have to customize the report according to that. I Had done the same for my client.
Once the Problem is solved please close this issue.

Is it possible to create one unique wifi Network with both TC's ? So wireless Devices connect to one TC (which is best at this position) but both TC's route traffic over wired connection?

just configured it, but my primary TC's is in orange blink state now!
Error Message is "Double-NAT"! If my understanding is right, than the Problem is that my Router and my primary TC's does NAT!
Do I have to deactivate DHCP and NAT on my router or is there another way to work around?

get the print parameters by fm GET_PRINT_PARAMETERS
it will fill a structure type PRI_PARAMS
change PRI_PARAMS-PDEST to printer1 and send output to spool:
new-page print on parameters PRI_PARAMS no dialog.
change PRI_PARAMS-PDEST to printer2 and send output to spool again

Printing one file to multiple printers

I'm trying to make, if possible a button on the toolbar that will print two copies to one printer, and one copy to another printer.

First, I would work on creating a 'print' button.
You need to know the printer names assigned on your system. The following code can be run in the JavaScirpt console and display a list of printer names:
var l = app.printerNames.length
for ( var i = 0; i < l; i++)

With that one can then set the printer parameters for the print command:
var myParams = this.getPrintParams();
myParams.NumCopies = 2;
myParams.interactive = silent;

this.print(myParams);
var myParams = this.getPrintParams();
myParams.NumCopies = 1;
myParams.interactive = silent;
myParams.printerName = "system printer name 2";
this.print(myParams);
This will work from the console, but inorder to use the silent parameter, you will need to create a menu item to get around the priviledged and trusted funcitons.

Is it possible to sync one iPhone to two Macs? One for the music library and one for contacts, emails etc

At home I have two Macs, one for work and another which acts as a sort of entertainment hub storing all my music, podcasts and videos as well as being for the family to use.
Is it possible to sync my one iPhone to both Macs, with the work one just syncing things like my contacts, emails, calendars and apps while the other Mac would sync just the podcasts and music to the iPhone.
Would this cause any problems and what is the correct way to go about this?

As wjosted said, it's possible, but it's not recommended.
Email does not sync with a computer. Only email account information is. Mail itself is synced with the mail server.
Why not just sync with the computer you keep your media on and use iCloud (or whatever cloud service you want) to sync the rest? Seems simpler to me.
