Is it possible to restore your candy crush level without connecting it with Facebook or Game Center?

I accidentally deleted Candy Crush. When I redownloaded it made me start over. I didn't connect with Facebook and didn't know how to with Game Center. Is there any way to get back to where I was?

Is this on an iMac or an Apple mobile device?

The only way to synchronize is connecting to FaceBook. I just set up my girl friend's iPhone to connect with FaceBook, which then updated the phone's level; then I downloaded the app (again) on her iPad and selected connect to Facebook. I'm not sure what the downfall of synchronizing through FaceBook is.... all I can tell you is it worked and now her iPad shows the same level as her iPhone. Good luck!

I was having trouble sending a large email so I contacted my ISP via chat. I gave him remote access but I thought he would let me know what he was going to do if it was anything drastic. I would've signed out of Sync if I knew he was going to clear my History, but he did it before I had a chance to stop him. I was able to restore my Bookmarks via Sync, but not my History. You don't have to use iCloud
In iTunes on your computer, sign in to the store. Click on "purchased" under quick links on the right side.
This is a record of everything you've purchased from iTunes under your user name. Cluck on music. Click on the tab "not on this computer" and then click on "all" from the list on the left. Then click "download all" and enjoy your music! This also works for apps and movies.

Ok - what happens..
1)iPod appears to work fine as a standalone player.
2)iTunes works perfectly without the iPod connected
3)Put the two together and it's **** on earth!...
I can't sync or make any changes through iTunes, without iTunes freezing (and that includes the restore iPod option.)
I may not actually need to restore my iPod - however the other option that comes to mind is throwing the damed thing out the window....so any help gratefully received..

A Solution to Candy Crush progress erase when you forgot to back it up

I HAVE A SOLUTION TO ALL YOU GUYS CANDY CRUSH PROBLEM.....now it may not be the best solution but it is one....this worked for me
Step 1: find someone with candy crush at the same or similar level you were on
Step 2: ask them if they can sync there game with there facebook
Step 3: ask them if you could temporarily use there Facebook login info
Step 4: download candy crush and login with friend Facebook login info
((Now you should be at there level of candy crush on your phone)
Step 5: after ensuring candy crush level, next close game than reopen it, click on setting and LOGOUT of Facebook connection. Candy crush will say are you sure, sync will not continue, click yes.
Step 6: now that you're not connected, simply click play and you will still be at the level you was at when you was connected to your friends Facebook acct. At this point I would sync it again but this time to your account.

You sure about that? While my time on the latest iPhone is limited my initial results appeared the same as on the iPad, a reloading of all pages.
And I wouldn't hold out too much hope on an improvement with iOS 4 on the iPad considering the iPad has half the amount of memory than the latest iphone

When you have millions of people browsing and constantly reloading pages then yes it will have an affect on their network.
It most certainly is a big issue to have to reload pages, especially pages that are rich in content like with many images or thumbs, that you are jumping forward and back from. The image gallery scenario I mentioned is a very painful exercise in patience. Essentially it makes the iPad useless in such a scenario unless you work with another browser that allows you not just to use tabs but let's you set whether links will allow the opening of another tab. So far that is the only way around not having to reload web pages automatically.
The iPad reloads every page automatically. Whatever cache it may be using is essentially useless. Just go to a site that has large photo galleries and let someone's gallery of thumbs load and surf back and forth from that page. There is no question about the iPad reloading every page. It's a well known issue and why I posted this topic so iPad users can get much better use out of their ilPads.
The iPad is a great device limited pretty much only by the amount of memory it uses and how much of that memory is allowed to be allocated to the browsing experience.
