Is it possible to retrieve my deleted songs?

I recently had to buy a new PC, so when I plugged in my iPod to sync and charge it, some messages appeared asking me if I wanted to transfer files from my old computer. I can't recall exactly what it said, but I clicked "transfer files" or something along those lines.
Next thing I know, there's no songs on my iPod. Luckily there were only about 50, but all the same, is there any way I can retrieve them? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

You should be able to retrieve them from where ever you have the stored.
Just use your backup copy. This is one of the many reasons that a backup copy has always been basic.
If you do not have a copy saved somewhere, then there is nowhere to retrieve it from.

How do I retrieve my deleted songs on my iPhone?
So I accidentally clicked on the "Sync Music" button in iTunes and all my songs in my iPhone music library was gone. Is there a way to retrieve them? Even if I deleted them off of my iTunes library?

If they are iTunes purchases then depending upon what country that you are in then you might be able to re-download them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes, or the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app directly on your phone.

  • Is it possible to retrieve a deleted file that wasn't placed into the Trash can?

I created a new Word document and was going to submit it to a Subversion repository using the Versions application.
However I accidentally deleted it from within Versions. Versions did not place it into the Trash Can after deleting it, and as it was a new document it is not yet under version control and so cannot be retrieved from the repository.
Is there anyway I might be able to retrive it?
(I've asked the same question within the Versions Google support group but posting here while/if I get a response from there. Wondering if there are any OS X specific techniques/tools I can use if Versions doesn't provide the ability).

Did you try to open this file in Word for editing and saved the modified file under the same name?
If that is the case then you should always use Save as to save the file under a different name and in another folder.
If that wasn't the case then you should have kept the file unless other (cleanup or anti-virus) software has removed the file because Firefox wouldn't remove files that weren't saved to temp folder.

  • Deleting songs on ipod? possible?

Can i get rid of some songs on my ipod but not get it off the itunes? cuz i dont ever listen to some songs and need more space for songs i do listen to... Help me out if possible, How can i delete songs on the ipod but not off itunes?
    Mac   Windows XP

To remove a song from your iPod but not off iTunes you will need to arrange your iPod manually.
    Not really.
    This is the only way.
    No, it's not. Really.
So manual arrangement... get used to it!
    Why? Manual management stinks.
I use autosync and I control exactly what goes on my iPods very well, thank you.
Select the iPod in iTunes. Click on the Music tab.
Select Sync music and Sync selected playlists.
Select the playlists you want to go onto your iPod.
Add or delete from the playlists then sync the iPod.

  • Retrieve a deleted sales order

    Hi,
Is it possible to retrieve a deleted sales order?
    Rgds
    TV

    Dear TV,
Deleted Sales Orders can not be retrieved. However, you can retrieve the data if you had stored them in custom tables during sales order creation with the help of BAdi/Enhancement.
However, you can not retrieve the data from standard tables (VBAK, VBAP etc) as the data will be deleted as soon as you delete the sales order.
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.

  • HT201077 Is it possible to retrieve photos that have been photostreamed thru icloud to my mac from my daughter in Europe who has deleted 1000 photos from her ipad that I didn't know I had to save ?

Is it possible to retrieve 1000 photos that have been photostreamed thru to my mac from my daughter in Europe but not saved on my mac.  These same photos have been deleted from my daughters ipad in Europe ?

If the photos have been deleted from Photo Stream, then they are gone unless they have been saved elsewhere. Are they not in the Camera Roll of the iOS device they were taken on?
Photo Stream is not a permanent storage solution. It stores up to the last 1000 photos taken on an iOS device for a maximum of 30 days.

I want to delete songs from iTunes Match by unchecking them in my iTunes library on my Mac. Is this possible? If so, how do I change the necessary setting(s) in iTunes or iTunes Match?

I have seen this page, but it seems that this involves deleting songs from my iTunes library in order to remove them from iTunes Match. I want to keep them in my iTunes library, but not in iTunes match (I am over my limit for songs in iTunes Match, and would like to decide which songs to keep in iTunes Match).

  • Is it possible to retrieve deleted items from the Pages App please?

IIs it possible to retrieve deleted items from the Pages App? Thanks

From within the Pages app, no. If you have an iTunes or iCloud backup that would have contained the file, and you are backing up Pages, it could be received via a restore using that backup (this would wipe out any newer data however).

Is it possible to retrieve deleted files from the cloud i.e. contacts?

If you have an iCloud backup of an iOS device that was made while the contacts were still on it, you may be able to restore them from the backup by following this user tip from Winston Churchill: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-4841.

  • I have an iPhone 3G. I'm trying to find out how to retrieve accidentally deleted text messages on my phone. Is this possible?

I have an iPhone 3G.  I need to know how to retrieve accidentally deleted text messages.  Is that possible?  Please say yes!  Thanks

Myself and my girlfriend use the decipher textmessage program. She's on windows and I use the version for my macbook pro. It works cool and lets you save your text messages from your iphone to your computer. I've actually recovered a few deleted messages with it too which was helpful since I'm a laywer and needed them for work. Their site is:
    http://www.video-converter-mac.org/iphone-sms-recovery/
Good luck! Hope you and your family are able to recover your sms messages!

  • Could someone please tell me if it is possible to retrieve text messages that I have permanently deleted?

Could someone please tell me if it is possible to retrieve text messages that I have permanently deleted?

SMS's are included in the iPhone backup, thus restoring from backup will restore your SMS's, assuming you backed up your phone with the SMS's in question still on your phone. If not part of your iPhone backup, they are gone.

  • Is it possible to delete songs in your ipod?

    Hello!
I have a friend. And he is asking me if, I could ask you if he can delete songs from my Ipod. He have some songs that he doesnt like and the computer He sync songs from isn't available at the moment. So the question is, can he delete songs and videos from his ipod 5gen without connecting to the computer.

    Patrick,
So how do you erase songs from the ipod using the computer? In the manual it says to select the song on the ipod then to press delete button or the backspace button on the computer's keyboard. This does not work for me!! Any advice?
    Thank you,
