Is it possible to return an IN-APP purchase that was purchased by mistake?

We purchased an IN-App  add on and unfortunately did not know that we were being charged for this.  Is it possible to return an APP for credit?

Do you read your email on a web site (e.g., GMail, Yahoo mail, Hotmail) or in Thunderbird?
Most mail sites/programs have a Trash or Deleted items folder, or something similar. Hopefully the message is in there.

  • Is it possible to "mirror" images from my mac that was bought in 2009, but has all the updated software?

I have a macbook pro that was bought in 2009, it has been updated with mac os x 10.6.8 and I am trying to "mirror" image to apple tv 6.0.2.. Is it even possible with a older mac? If it is how do i go about doing it? Any help would be nice thanks.

    no! yet maybe
    this
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht5404
only macs which video card support a realtime encoding of the screen image into a H.264 video stream
    support airplay mirror
apple made it like that because if the video card don't support it the main cpu would have to and that could give a hit in performance and could cause lagg between the tv and the screen of the mac
but a third party program called airparrot support it that way so if one buy that program it should work how the performance would be I don't know likely the performance would be better when you laptop is connected to AC as when one is on batt only stuff are slowed down to save power.

  • TS1702 How does one return a game app purchased in error or one you do not like after trying?

Can not find this topic in help

All purchases are considered final (not liking a game probably won't get you a refund), but you can try contacting iTunes support and see if they will refund or credit you : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

  • How do I get Apple to offer a certain app again that was removed from the store?

How do I get Apple to return the paid version of a certain app back to the App store? The free limited version is still available but the paid version with more features has been removed. I know people who want to get this app and cannot. It is Word Play Online and has a very loyal following with over 50,000 names playing and yet is gone from the App Store. How can I find out where it went?

You can't find out where it went and you can't get Apple to put it back. Only the app's developer can get the app put back. It is out of your hands.

  • How can I update an app (iphoto) that was registered with another apple id?

I bought an used Macbook Air, with Macosx 10.7.3 on it. It included apps like Iphoto and garage band. When I want to update them, I can't because the App Store is requiring the old apple ID.
Is there a way to change the apple ID for updates of apps that came with the OS?
I've tried to trash Iphoto and download it again from the app store but instead of "install" the button says "Accept" (to accept updates). However, when I click on it it asks for the old Apple ID.
Thanks in advance for any ideas you may have.
    Dan

    Hello,
You can't merge or change Apple ID. Applications are tied with the Apple ID used to make the purchases.
In your case the only way to download them again is to use the old Apple ID.

  • Can I get refund for item purchased from App store that was not what I thought?

I wanted to purchase iDVD but instead purchased an instructional video.

    HI..
Sorry, but Apple's policy states that, "all sales are final" >  iTUNES STORE - MAC APP STORE - TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Just in case you are running v10.7 Lion, Lion does not support iDVD.

  • Can't get app update that was posted to App Store

An app that I bought (Crosswords) was updated and the update appears in the App Store. I have the old version in my Applications page in iTunes, but when I click the "Check for Updates" link, it doesn't find any updates for my applications.
I tried just going to the updated app in the App Store and downloading it. It sees that I already bought it, and lets be download it for free. But... when I do right-click Info on the icon in my Applications page after I download the updated version, it still shows the old version. When I Sync my iPhone, it doesn't update my phone -- so it is definitely still the old version I'm getting from the download.
The same thing happened to me the other day when an update to the Bloomberg finance app was posted to the App Store.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

I've been having the same issues with a few of my apps..
i will download the latest app(b/c sometimes checking updates doesn't reveal any updates), then view properties of my newly updated app and the old version no. remains the same!..
also the inconsistency of the app store on the iphone and itunes...
I get the latest update notifications on my iphone..but not in my itunes..
this leaves me with this NEW issue....
if I download the latest apps using my iphone app store, when I go to resync, FOR SOME REASON, even if it says that i am transferring new updates to my itunes, when I go check the version numbers in my applications folder, it reveals the OLD versions again!... therefore, when I resync, the old versions get installed onto my iphone!!!
it has come to my conclusion that if I want the latest and greatest update for any apps, I should do it thru itunes....but do not download the updates directly from the app store, instead, wait until they show up in the "check application updates" dialog of the application section of itunes...but then you suffer the "no updates available" BS, when you know there is an update!!!!
to me this is total crap!!...

  • How do you get a refund for an app that was purchased through the new App Catalog for a WebOS app!

    Hi,
I just purchased a Dictionary app from Palm's App Catalog, the product is listed as: English Dictionary and Thesarus by Ultralingua, Inc. and it was not something that was advertised correctly and hence is not something that I want.
It costs a whopping $9.99 and if it was as advertised, it would have been worth the money but it is not.
I've had Dictionaries on my Palm Devices so when I saw the first directory for the WebOs for use on Pre, I immediately got it.
However, unlike my old Palm dictionaries, this dictionary requires you to have a network connection.  Something that is not useful for me.  I sometimes like to look up word while on the subway to work (I live in NYC) where this is no network connection.
There was nothing in the description that said it 'required' a network connection, and considering that all of the dictionaries I have gotten in the past did not require a network connection, I assumed (since it didn't state anything) that I could use it off-line.
Heck, since you are required to use this dictionary online, I might as well use google to lookup a word and that is free!
So I believe I was tricked into getting this app, and I want a refund!
And there doesn't seem to be a way to get a refund for an app that did not disclose it's requirements before I made my purchase.
Thanks for you help in finding out how to get a refund when its needed!
    Rob
Post relates to: Pre p100eww (Sprint)

Palm does have the ability to remove apps remotely, that was added in the last update.
I knew that would be Palm's response, but I earn you now, Palm better make sure they put a better description on these apps.  And in this case its Palm's fault for not disclosing that this app required network support in order to work.
They should at least make that part of a feature description.
This is the second app that I purchased that was not advertised correctly.  So I far I have spent good money on crap only because the descriptions did not contain the right info.
I see the only solution is to make all apps have at least a one hour free trail, or whatever free trial you want.
I and I'm sure I'm not alone can't keep purchasing stuff that either doesn't work as advertised or is misleading in the description.
I mean really Palm, you approved a dictionary app that just does a google in the background and displays the definition.
I can do that same thing by typing it on my Pre and hitting Google?
I still feel cheated and ripped off.
I signed up for Palm and WebOS because I wanted to give you a second chance but that love only goes so far.  I think Andriod will be in my life soon.  I can't stand by and let myself be taken advantage of.
I just can't believe how angry and upset I AM over this.
