Note that if you invoke Full Screen Preview (F) from Grid Mode, then Cycle Info Display (I) doesn't work at all, no matter how many times you press "I":

It appears that Adobe originally designed Full Screen Preview to be a special viewing mode of the underlying mode. So if you invoke Full Screen Preview from Grid Mode, Cycle Info Display doesn't work and the arrow keys work with selections just as they do in regular Grid Mode, not as in Loupe Mode. But according to employee Becky Sowada, Adobe is reconsidering this design; see the 9/17 thread in this topic:

You can import pics taken with the iphone to your computer withour itunes. Itunes has nothing to do with importing pics taken with the iphone.

Considering or moving right now to iCloud Drive? Please check the following facts to avoid my terrible experience:
First of all it is not as easy as Apple Says: "Store your files in iCloud and access all them anytime on all your devices" - Lies.
1) There is no standalone app for iCloud drive on iOS so you will not be able to access all your files from your iDevices only the ones you created with iWork.
2) Even if you upgrade your space to 1 or 2 TB you will have storage limitation because you can upload what you Mac can storage, in a few words it is a mirror not an online hards disk.
3) NO photos nor videos in iCloud, it doesn't matter how space you get you will not have access to them on the web, and not date has been confirmed for this promised feature.
4) You will get many dumb folders in the iCloud drive even dumb iWork copies of your documents.
5) Many unexpected errors will be waiting for your data, like the one I got when all my local copies of all my files ( any type) just disappeared and got a simple icon with the message Not Downloaded like if there were not before in the Mac. Apple open a ticket for this issue after many hours int he phone.
6) Apple support is not well trained to handle issues related to the new services like this, you can call and ask simple questions and will be on hold a lot of time to while they figure out what to tell you. Try it.
7) At the end you will cancel the service and go back to your previos cloud service ( just like me with Dropbox) and uploading all your files to it.
8) If need more reasons just let me know and I will give you more to convince you that iCloud Drive will "drive you mad".

What's the origin of this external drive? It sounds very much like it's a Windows-formatted (NTFS) drive which Macs can't write to. If you can, copy the files off the drive, reformat it as Mac format (using Disk Utility) and copy the files back. If you need to continue writing to it from a Windows PC, you should format it ExFAT in Disk Utility.

No. When you removed the photos via the finder you damage the library. Photos should always be removed from the library using iPhoto, never with the Finder.
If you have a Time Machine backup of the library from before you deleted the photos you can restore the library to the Desktop and export that album from it to import into your current library.
It's been too long to be able to try one of the file recovery applications. You sure to have overwritten those files with new files since them.

Is it possible to see the timestamp from the camera in my timeline?

I have been given notes to look out for certain things according to the time on the camera from when the clip was recorded. I can see the start and end times for my clips where I import the media clips. I can also see the camera time ticking up when I view the clip in the preview window.
However, when I go to the timeline to edit my project, the only time I can see if what's on my timeline.
Is it possible for me to view the original camera times while working on the project in the timeline?

As you have found, clips edited to the project timeline will display the project TC, not the original clip TC.
If you open a clip in its own timeline, you'll see that the clip TC is in fact displayed in the dashboard. And if you add the TC generator to that clip, it will also display the clip TC. Finally, if you turn that clip and generator into a compound clip, it will display the clip TC – both in the browser and when edited to a project timeline.
Also, Compressor can burn in clip TC.

The iPhoto library should be in your user folder/Pictures unless it was moved.

Photostream syncs but I can't see the photos in the native app.

Okay here is the problem I have. I own 2 Ipad2's one of them works great the other one does not. I can't see the photos in the photostream folder, but if I use a photo program I can see all the photos that are in the photostream folder or if I go and change the background of the iPad I can see all of the photos. So I know Photo Stream is working on the iPad but I just can't see them in the Photo Stream Folder. On my other Ipad2 it works great no problems using the same account.
I have tried to turn photo stream off and than back on, I have deleted the account from the IPad and turned it back on, I have powered down the IPad and than turned it back on....
Any Ideas? Should I just hard reset and start over ?

You can't actually view what you have in the cloud, but you can view photo stream photos in photos on your mobile device or in iPhoto on your computer.
