When closing Firefox 23 with the taskbar, the dialog wndow is obscured behind it and I can't select close unless I keep clicking and it appears in front. Fix?

Got Firefox 23 forced on me while doing reinstall. First off the icon on desktop and start menu shows a white box around the Firefox icon, this by design?
Also When i click to close Firefox using the taskbar tab it partially hides behind the taskbar and I am unable to click it. Sometimes it appears in front as all the other programs do/should but rarely. V22 didn't have this problem. Is this also a feature or bug and how can I downgrade to the far superior version 22?

Is it possible to select all files within a directory (and not the folders/subfolders)?

For instance, in my iTunes directory, I would like to select all of the music files without selecting the other olders (artist name, album name). Going through with Shift+click and command+click will take an eternity. If I just highlight everything and hit "open", it will open ALL of the folders as well as opening the actual files. I want to skip the folders if possible with a mass selection.

Is it possible to select an area on a graph and to delete data directly from it?

Hi,as written in the message subject, I'm interesting in the possibility of delete data directly from a graph, using two cursors on the x-axis, or selecting directly an area.
In fact I don't know how to link the cursor position to the data position in an array, in fact if I'm able to do this, I can use the cursors to select an interval on the x-axis and then with the help of a control on the front panel, delete the data from the array, and obtain a new graph without the selected area.

I'm assuming from your question that you have an XY graph built from an array, and I'm also assuming the array is sorted by the X axis.
Create a property node for the graph (Right-click on the terminal and select Create>>Property node). Now you can either select the Cursor>>Cursor position and Cursor>>Active cursor properties to get the coordinates of the cursor(s), or you can select the Cursor List property to get an array of clusters that holds the data for all the cursors. Assuming you only have two cursors, you can use a for loop and place an Unbundle by name VI in it to get the cursor position. Now that you have the positions for both cursors, go back to the original array and remove the data that's between these values.

Is it possible to (selectively) automatically move to next patch and start?

I can't see this anywhere in the help but it must be a frequently used function.

I don't know a way of doing this so it automatically skips to the next patch to play after the song ends, but there are a few other ways of doing this:
1. You could combine the three tracks into one and have it play as one Playback. Insert Markers if you needed them for navigation to each of the sections/tracks.
2. You could have three different plug in's and play/mute the separate channel strips
3. There is a mixer with backing tracks template that might be useful for the type of performance/functions you need.
Try any of those, meanwhile, I'll try to think of more options.

HT204406 i bought 2 songs on my iphone 5 and they wont play when selected it goes to different songs. How do i get them to play again?

I cant get the 2 songs to play after i backed up and set up Icloud. The songs show up on the artist and song selections but not in the purchased playlists. When i select the songs either throws me to another song/artist or it takes me right back to the artist art work.

Because of the christmas holidays, there has been quite a lot of parties to attend to!
My problem is that, I have realised i have gotten a number for a girl i like quite a bit, but cant recall when i have met her during these days. Ofcurse its kinda late to return the call, but i dont wanna seem like i cant remember her at all from when i did meet her.

ALL purchases are permanently associated with whatever Apple ID was used to originally obtain them. Apps can not be updated without knowledge of that ID and, more importantly, its password. Apple IDs can not be merged and purchases can not be transferred from one ID to another.

I am using workgroup manager to restrict access in the finder to students, i have selected basic finder this seems to work when you try and launch finder, but when you are in another application eg safari and select open you can see shared devices

as well as shared devices you can see locations etc in the side bar. i know you can edit this in finder preferences or simply drag them off and they will be removed but i want to remove them as a student logs on. i know you can edit the finder plist file in workgroup manager but i do not know what keys i need to add to remove these options and the keys are not there as default can anyone please help any ideas on how to achieve this would be great

Possible to select movie playlists on iTunes?

Just upgraded to Apple TV 2 and wondered whether it is possible to select a playlist rather all the files on a Mac that you connect to? When I connect to my Movies I only seem to have the option of seeing all my movies rather than playlists with selected movies.....

you have to enable playlists in the appletv settings menu.
do that and it will show all your movie and tv show playlists (as well as music).

I formerly used Sony Vegas Pro - and I'm in the process of getting into Final Cut Pro X, and I'm wondering...
In Sony Vegas Pro - I was able to mark a part of my video project, and only render that. It was usefull if I wanted to send a part of a project rendered to someone else for review etc.
In Final Cut Pro X I can't find a similar possibility - I have to render my complete video project - or nothing at all.
Does anyone know if it's possible to select a part of a project and render only that part?

Then went you want to open those tabs as a group, right-click that folder and select '''''Open All in Tabs...'''''
Save those bookmarks as long as you need them, and delete the folder when you don't need it any longer.
