Is it possible to send course navigation commands from an html5 animation?

If I use the app packager to include html5 animations, is it possible to include a navigation button in the animation? I'd like to restrict navigation to the next slide until they user has finished watching the animation.

How come than, sometimes these SMS messages are charged (it is a contract) and sometimes they don't charge his account?
Thank you!

  • Sending down Linux commands from database

    Hello
    Im working with Oracle 10.2.0.4.3 on Linux SuSE FUSE Version 2.3.0-RC0-SL0/SLES-9.
    Im currently doing an extract of BLOB files down to a directory on the server.
    When I do the extract the Oracle user becomes the owner of the files and my own user doesn't have the access (neither read or write) to the files.
    I cannot receive Oracle access due a security issue so Im wondering if its possible to send down a command from the database that does a
    $chmod a+rw my_directory/*.* ?
    Iv looked into the some forums and I didnt find anything in particulate that would help me, so Im wondering if any of you know if this is possible ?
    BR / SA

    Hello
    Thank you for your advice but the question was to send down Linux commands from the DB, not do anything in the Linux enviroment.
    Here is a good place to start that I found on the net.
    public class JShellCommand {
    public static int execute(String cmd) {
    try
    String[] shellCmd = { "/bin/sh", "-c", cmd };
    Process process = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(shellCmd);
    int exitVal = process.waitFor();
    return (exitVal);
    catch (Exception e)
    return 1;
    load it into db with loadjava and wrap it with:
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    FUNCTION Shell_Command(
    p_CMD IN VARCHAR2
    RETURN NUMBER
    AS
    LANGUAGE JAVA
    NAME 'JShellCommand.execute(java.lang.String) return int';
    For OS command you can use:
    public class JCommand {
    public static int execute(String cmd) {
    try
    Process process = Runtime.getRuntime().exec(cmd);
    int exitVal = process.waitFor();
    return (exitVal);
    catch (Exception e)
    return 1;
    and
    CREATE OR REPLACE
    FUNCTION OS_Command(
    p_Cmd IN VARCHAR2
    RETURN NUMBER
    AS LANGUAGE JAVA
    NAME 'JCommand.execute(java.lang.String) return int';

  • Can I send keyboard/mouse commands from a VI to an external application?

    I am launching an external application (BeamScan.exe by Photon) in Windows 95 from a LabVIEW 5.1 VI using Exec. I want to be able to configure the external application from its own menu bar, sending key commands or mouse clicks from the VI. I need to do it this way because the external application has only limited ActiveX capabilities which do not include the menu options I want to control.
    Is it possible to send keystrokes or mouse clicks through Windows 95 to the other application?

  • "send to color" command from FCP not working.

    Hello there...
    The problem i'm having is when I send to Color from FCP nothing happens.
    I'm working on a project all the footage is in DV... very straight forward.. i've worked with color in the past so i understand the process of preparing the material for Color.
    I restarted, created a new project, imported material in different codecs like pro res... and Nothing... Nada.
    I have the latest version of FCP and Color.
    i'm on a deadline so i want to avoid reinstall... any ideas??
    any help will be greatly appreciated!
    thanks!!!
    andres.

    Hello JP, Thanks for your reply!!
    Here are the answers...
    Restart: the application and computer (usually the solution to every problem in life)
    Created a new project In FCP.
    I'm not mixing any codecs... everything is straight edits no dissolves, no speed change, just cuts, all the material is the same source an old school mini DV camera 29.97fps.
    I'm trying to send a sequence form FCP. Actually the "send to color" command is highlighted.
    By nothing i mean:
    I select on file menu "Send to Color" command and I see the prompt window with the duration of the project (5min) Name of sequence... i change the name to v2... and thats it. Color doesn't open... I tryed opening color in advance and same thing. seems opening script is not working.
    Thanks for your reply and help!!!!!!
    best,
    Andrés.

  • Is it possible to send a Mail message from the keyboard (Macbook pro)?

    Occasionally while I am composing a message in Mail the send command is somehow activated and the half complete message is sent.  I don't want this to happen and can find no keyboard command that I might be mistakenly typing. I certainly don't click on the send button in the tool bar.  Any ideas would be appreciated.  This is irritating and sometimes embarrassing.
    Thanks.

    Shift CMD D  is the keyboard shortcut, not exactly easy to hit by mistake though.

  • Is it possible to send a DNG to from LR4 to PS6 as a TIFF? of so how do I do it?

    When I use Topaz plug-ins in LR4, the image comes back with only 10% of  the pixels remaining. It has been suggested by Topaz Help to transfer images to PS6 from LR4 without LR4 adjustments and see if it still happens. Unfortunately my DNG files cannot be sent to PS6 without adjustments. Is it possible to convert DNG files to TIFF so the option becomes available to send it to PS6 without adjustments?

    I am not certain what you mean by "pixels of 1.7 by 1.1" but if you mean 1700x1100 pixels, that is indeed 1.87 Megapixels. I personally think the straight pixel dimensions are a better (cetainly a more usual) way to express this kind of thing.
    A 1.87 Megapixel  image (of these dimensions) opened into Photoshop reports its theoretical document size on the status bar, if set for that: when I tried this just now, it reported "5.35M".
    It is important to note: this is a notional saving filesize without compression, in Megabytes, and does not refer to Megapixels (really they should make this clearer, by putting "Mp" or "Mb" explicitly, instead of the more confusing "M").
    I don't see how you would have reached 9 Megabytes with such a picture unless there are additional layers present, and/or, resampled pixel numbers.
    If you have somehow reached 9 Megapixels from those starting dimensions, the picture must have been resampled somehow along the line, to give it more pixels (often, this comes of altering resolution while preserving print size - either in "image size", or in Crop).
    Another display option for the same document status bar, shows pixel dimensions - which will confirm this for sure.
    Depending on your printing process, I would suggest you take 180ppi as more or less the coarsest acceptable for printing on paper, and perhaps 90ppi for printing on canvas. These figures accept some crudeness in return for maximum size, but still most likely look OK for general purposes.
    1700px wide at 180ppi is 9.44 inches wide (paper) and at 90ppi is 18.88 inches wide (canvas). The other dimension correspondingly smaller. Many may feel this is pushing things a bit, but if you can make a real sample you may be pleasantly surprised - to some extent it depends on the nature of the image, and on what it is being printed for.
    If feeling more picky, you might instead compromise on say 240 ppi (still in a context where you don't have a lot of pixels available) which gives you a paper printing size of  7 inches wide in, typically, good quality.
    So that tells you the printing size range your image will support. The image can be upsampled to a specific higher PPI (and correspondingly larger pixel dimensions) for printing purposes, at that size - but this does not add further to the enlargeability of the picture detail it contains - only present that at its technical best, and allow you to tweak that further with sharpening, for the physical size selected.

  • Is it Possible to Send a Test Email from Localhost to my yahoo email?

    Hi,
    I'm trying to set up a Flex e-mail form, but I'm not having a lot of luck. I followed the tutorial in RIA Codes, www.riacodes.com/flex/create-an-email-form-in-flex-with-php/ , but I couldn't get it to work.
    I saw another tutorial, which suggested first testing whether your server will allow you to send e-mail. So, I put this php file in my webroot
    <?
    mail("[email protected]","test","Ok, it works");
    ?>
    and then opened it in my browser. Unfortunately, no e-mail was sent to my yahoo account.
    ([email protected] isn't my actual e-mail address).
    Should the above file run okay on my localhost?  Is there some kind of setting that I need to change?
    Any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong?
    I'm on a Mac running MAMP and Flex Builder 3.
    Thank you!

    Hi camfieldaj,
    Thanks you for the message.
    I did some more reading on the web. I've got MAMP Pro and it has a panel for configuring Postfix. I think that that will enable email for php. Is that correct?
    MAMP Pro's Postfix panel is asking for:
    1) domain of outgoing mail:
    2) there's a check box next to Smart Host
    3) host
    4) user name
    5) password
    6) authentication
    Verizon provides my internet service.
    Any advice on how to complete the above? Has anyone used MAMP Pro to configure Postfix?
    Thanks,
    Laxmidi

  • Possible to send pictures with Gmail & from Lightroom ?

    I just read the trick to mail from Lightroom with a email client.
    Is there any way to do the same with Gmail ( or any webmail ) ?
    Thanks for your help.
    Regards,
    Gilles.

    Elements 5 does a very very nice job. I send pictures to a cousin who has a system that makes it difficult to retrieve attachments or even go to a web page to view my pictures. Elements can send an HTML email with the image embedded and it works perfectly for her and is so so easy for me. I have it use an Adobe server although you can use your own. I may be keeping Elements for that feature alone, sigh... I can't figure out another way to do this. I use Yahoo mail myself because it allows me to pick up my mail no matter where I am plus see my calendar etc. I can't figure out how to create such an email with yahoo mail myself.

  • My HP Color Laserjet CP1215 only prints when sending a command from a distant computer (shared pr.)

    My HP Color Laserjet CP1215 won't print when I send a print command from the computer to which the printer is connected to.  The printer is shared. When my colleague sends a print command from another computer, the printer does his job.

  • Tcp/ip write help - need to send a motor command with parameters

    hello - i have one small, main labview 7.0 vi that i use to control a drill's two motors.
    right now i press a button on the front panel to move the motor, and when i do, a sub vi window pops up so the operator can set a couple of parameters and press an ok button.....the vi then sends the command with the parameters to the drill's motors.
    i am trying to change it so i can send the move command from another computer, in another room, while the main vi sits on the computer with the drill. i know i will use TCP listen, write, read, and close in both the main vi (the TCP server?) and the client which is on the remote computer.
    my problem is with setting the parameters for the subvi's that usually pops up. how do i set the parameters from the remote-client and have them be sent into the subvi on the main vi. if i can do this, i would have to also have a way to close the sub vi after it pops up in the main program too.
    OR should i use something else like and application reference or an invoke node function?????
    please help
    thanks!!!!

    Hi again,
    If the VI in the lab will be running continuously, then you will need
    to alter some things from the example I sent you or look at an
    alternate implementation. The example I sent you assumed that the VI in
    the lab was not running. This technique actually starts the VI and runs
    it somewhat like a subVI. It inputs values into the connector pane,
    runs it, and then returns values from the outputs on the connector pane
    after it finishes executing. It will not work to call a VI by reference
    if it is already continuously running.
    Instead I imagine you would want to have your VI in the lab have some
    sort of State Machine that polls a certain control value, such as an
    enum control, to determine which state to execute next. You could
    modify the technique I first sent to still open a reference to the VI
    in the lab, but it wouldn't try to run it. Instead you could use the VI
    method Set Control Value to set the value of a certain control or
    controls in the lab VI to certain values. The VI in the lab would then
    hopefully be in some Idle state where it polled one of those control
    values continuously to decide what to do next. That would allow the VI
    in the office to programmatically send commands to the other VI, as
    well as parameters for those commands. Simply set control values for
    the VI in the lab and let the VI in the lab go about its business. I've
    attached an example below.
    That's just one idea. Other options you have would be to use a
    DataSocket connection to send parameters and commands back and forth
    between computers. This is a pretty simple API to use. If you have
    LabVIEW 8, Shared Variables are an option. Or you might look into
    simply using Remote Front panels, which allows you to connect to a VIs
    Front Panel across the network. You could then have the whole VI in the
    Lab, but you could connect to it, view it, modify the controls and so
    on from your office. If you want to view and control a VI without
    having LabVIEW installed on the viewing computer, you can use the Web
    Publishing Tool to create a web interface for your front panel. Lots of
    options. Let me know what sounds interesting.

  • Nokia 5310 Is it possible to send a sms message fr...

    Hi Guys
    I am using a Nokia 5310 and was wondering if it was possible to send a sms message from my phone to my computer via Bluetooth? I can't seem to find an option to do this and don't know whether I am missing it or if it's just not possible.
    Any help or advice would be great.
    Thanks Claire xxx

    You can't send an SMS. However, if the phone (I don't know the 5310) has a note-taking application where you can create text notes/memos, the application might have an option to send the note/memo over Bluetooth. You might also be able to find some Java application to send text messages (still not SMS, technically) over Bluetooth, if the phone doesn't have such a feature built-in.

    Hi there,
    I was wondering whether it's possible to send emails with attachments from a Nokia 5230, it's just I would like to be able to send emails with attachments without using a computer especially when I'm out on my journeys.
    Many thanks,

    Go to Solution.

    Hi RocknRollTim,
    Thanks for your reply. Have you already tried sending these files? Though you're not able to create all these files on the phone itself, you should be able to send them in an attachment when they're on your memory card.
    Uploading a .jpg, .tiff, .gif, .doc, .docx .htm, .html .key, .numbers, .pages, .pdf, .ppt, .pptx, .txt, .rtf, .vcf, .xls or .xlsx file shouldn't be a problem when uploading. Just click on 'Other' when adding an attachment, then on 'Other files' and there you will be able to select any file that you have saved on your memory card.
    Whether you can actually send the email depends on the strength of your internet connection (as I mentioned in my previous post). Also keep in mind that the phone itself as well as the network work with a maximum size file that you can send over 3G (more information about this can be found here), and can therfore also limit you in sending large files.
    In any case, let me know how you get on so that we can assist further where necessary.
