I don't think so, I would be happy to have such function too.
In the French iBook store there is a section where you can find books by language, I guess in other countries there is the same section. But it's not really convenient…

PhotoStream is designed only for shunting photos taken on one device onto all the others. You can't actually view the photos at icloud.com.
The exception to this is any shared Photostream: these can, if you so choose, appear on a web page:

but there is no any notice or email to me firefox will have new sync system, if there, I could backup before bookmarks from 28 vision ( or some june's vision), but this big browser group is quiet, now, I can't log in again old account,
achieve process:
1st, normal account and right password, its show me unknown account.
2nd, Password Reset, " An email has been sent to the requested account with further information. If you do not receive an email then please confirm you have entered the same email address used during account registration.", I couldn't receive any mail(or in spam) :(
3rd, How to update to the new Firefox Sync ...

You should have no need to use the Old Sync account.
As long as device or devices are Firefox 29 or later (They should all be Firefox 30 now) you should use the New Sync.
You may use the same email address with both accounts.

The only way I know is that you need a physical address and credit card of an English speaking country.

As far as I can see I have placed pictures on all the pages. I admit that on some pages I could have placed 3 or 4 pictures but I chose to use ony one or two. Could that be the problem?

The error seems pretty clear - you must have a photo in evey photo frame in order to place your order - so you must either change the layout (if you only want one photo on a page then use a layout with one photo) or put photos in the spots you have not filled

You don't - you check your warranty status and have apple replace it for you. make sure you restore the phone as new first (after making a backup, of course) to see if the speaker works then. this isolates the issue to either your hardware or your software. if it's still happening after a restore as new through itunes, it means it's hardware that's the problem and apple will fix it for you

Is it possible to have your system preferences saved as a profile?

I have hooked my Mac up to my 40" TV. I'm using a clever little box that combines the minidisplay port and toslink into an HDMI output. However, I would like different settings in preferences depending on which display I'm using. For example I would like the dock, icons and cursor a bit bigger and optical audio output for the TV, but normal sized and analouge out for my usual monitor. Since I'll never be using both at the same time (I only have the one head) I'd like to be able to save my system preferences into 2 profiles and select between the 2 rather than manualy changing everything each time. Is this possible? It seems like it should be but I can't find a straight forward way to do it.
Two potential solutions spring to mind, first use different users for each display and switch between the 2 but this is far less than ideal. Secondly, set up for one display and save copies of the relevant plist files, then set up for the second display and save again then use a script/automator action to switch between the 2 and restart Finder. Although I have no idea about the technicalites of the second solution. All help appreciated.

Some progress on second idea. Saved a copy of universal access plist with cursor set to large then set the cursor to small again. Replacing the plist file had no effect until I went into the UA pane and changed a setting at which point it must rewrite the file and refresh because the cursor size also changed at this point.
Tried the same again and restarted Finder, no effect. Also tried altering another pref pane instead with no effect. Need a way to force the computer to look at the plist files, no idea how though. :-)

Is it possible to set screen saver preferences?

My screensaver has what I hope is a fixable quirk. I have directed it to use pictures from my Aperture library for the screensaver, and it displays a slidewhow with the Ken Burns affect. For some of the images the screen saver zooms into the middle of the image, and shows very little of the image. For others, it shows the image normally. Is there anything that can be done to alter or correct how the screensaver displays the images?

When you set up the screen saver in the System Preferences -> Desktop & Screen Saver, click the "Options" button. Here you can set five parameters and decide to keep the slides centered or to allow "back and forth" movement.

My settings won't stay set as I set them in preferences pane os maverick . Can someone please help me.

Can anyone help me resolve a problem I've been having . When I open preference pane & set my personal settings ,i.e Dock settings ,display settings to the way I prefer it's fine while I'm using computer but when I shut down & the next day I start up the settings are back to where they were before I went near them .
This problem is really annoying as the idea with the preference pane is for my particular preference . Please can somebody help me resolve this very annoying problem , After all it is a MacBook Pro running the latest software . Thank you .

This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. Do so only after verifying that those settings didn't cause the problem. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
I've tested these instructions only with the Safari web browser. If you use another browser, they may not work as described.
Step 1
If you have more than one user account, and the one in question is not an administrator account, then temporarily promote it to administrator status in the Users & Groups preference pane. To do that, unlock the preference pane using the credentials of an administrator, check the box markedAllow user to administer this computer, then reboot. You can demote the problem account back to standard status when this step has been completed.

How can I set Firefox update preferences via script so I can configure our 200 Macs to disable checking for updates?

Most of our Mac users do not have admin privileges. So when they get alerted about Firefox updates, they don't have the ability to install them. We would like to disable Firefox for checking for updates, then push out updates from our software server as needed. We have about 200 machines to configure. Is there a way to disable checking for updates via script (bash or Applescript)? And if so, is there a guide or web site to explain the process?

Use a mozilla.cfg file in the Firefox program folder to lock prefs or specify default values.
Place a file local-settings.js in the defaults\pref folder where you also find the file channel-prefs.js to specify using mozilla.cfg.

What if the I-Phone states it is disabled connect to iTunes and when you don't have a computer available that is sync with phone, but are using a different computer. You can't trust the computer from your phone because it is locked. How do I gain access.

This has nothing to do with the Find my iPhone app being installed on the phone, but you do have to have Find my iPhone activated in the iCloud settings on the phone.

This morning when I tried to open up the terminal, I got the following error:

I am the administrator of this machine, and I'm not sure how this happened. Anyone have any ideas how I can get my terminal back to normal?

Since you are unable to use "Terminal.app" at the moment, try launching "System Preferences" > "Accounts", authenticating to "unlock" the settings and control-click your account to select "Advanced Options". The "Login Shell" entry should list your current shell, and allow you to select from a list of acceptable shells.
If everything looks ok there, check your "/private/etc/shells" file to make sure your shell is listed.

No it is not possible. Content purchased from the iTunes Store is permanently tied to the account from which it was originally purchased, and Apple does not provide a way to change it.
