Is it possible to setup an alert before the form opens?

Is it possible to setup an alert before the form opens? If yes how would I do that?
I have tried to create an alert in preOpen java script but the "preOpen" option is greyed out.

I am trying to setup exchange with 3 users where each user sees exactly the same calendar all precisely in sync. I don't need the users to have their own calendar. Sharing a calendar from 1 user to the others does not work for me because I need it to be
in sync with all the users' mobile devices as well as outlook.

Base on my knowledge, it is impossible to setup multiple users with the exact same calendar.
However, as a workaround, you can try to set up a shared mailbox within these users as a shared calendar for them to share.

How to Show the Alerts inside the Form in JSP?

I am having parent form inside that thru one of the links,opening
a small another JSP. Inside the small another JSP, i am validating
the Screen and giving alerts. While Validating, the Alerts are coming
outside the small another JSP and appearing in the Parent Big Page.
I want the alert to appear in the small Another JSP. What to do?

When you submit, the whole form is submitted. thats why you are getting alerts like that.
you can use HTML frames to avoid these. but it is not possible to have frames inside a form. you have to have forms inside a frame. submit that particular frame's form so that only that part will be refreshed with messages/alerts.
the otherway is paint the screen as it was earlier just change the inner jsp content. its seems you are getting only alerts cos the information is same.

Mozilla firefox won't open it comes up with mozilla crash reporter before the browser opens

I cannot open the browser at all everytime I try and open it it comes up with crash reporter and then the browser doesn't open at all. I cannot open it in safe mode either as when I try and press shift while opening it it doesn't even come up with an option to open it in safe mode. I cannot troubleshoot it if it is not opening either which is frustrating. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling but still no use.

Sounds like you have VoiceOver 'on' - try triple-clicking the home button and see if that turns it off, and if it does change what Settings > General > Accessibility > Triple-Click Home does.
Otherwise you can either use the 'tap-to-select double-tap-to-activate/use' process to gradually go into Settings > General > Accessibility and turn VoiceOver off, or you can do it by connecting to your computer's iTunes : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4064

If I create a new row (A) with a createInsert operation the row is created ok - including the GUI field based on a selectOneChoise.
When I create the next row (B) with a createInsert operation that row is created ok and row A is moved one step down in the table.
But - at the same time as row A is moved down the field in row A that is based on a selectOneChoice is blanked (cleared).

When first opening firefox I always have to click the icon twice before the browser opens.

You're right, you should be able to just start typing in either the built-in Firefox home page ("about:home") or the actual Google home page (https://www.google.com/). Are you using one of those, or a different page that has a Google search box?
There are some add-ons to manage the home page and/or new tab page that may affect where the "focus" is in the browser. Could you try starting up Firefox in its Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
I suggest doing this the next time you start Firefox. Simply hold down the Shift key when double-clicking the icon. You should be presented with a small dialog. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).
Any difference? To return to normal mode, exit Firefox and start it again, not holding the Shift key.

Default system will accept only numeric and lenght is 10. you have change the numbe length domain as CHAR 14 (length 14)for object RV_VEKP. then system will allow to create with alpha numeric and length 14.
Take your abaper help to do changes for object.

The Forms Help System will show you have to do this. Look up "FIND_ALERT" and there are examples. The SHOW_ALERT built-in is a function and returns a constant that identifies the button selected by the user. The following was taken directly from the FIND_ALERT help topic:

Possible to Setup Sales Order Alert???

Hi,
I am trying to determine if it is possible in SAP B1 to setup an automatic alert message to be sent out to a distribution list whenever a sales order is entered into the system.
Basically when are service techs need a part for a service call they are entering a sales order from the service call screen.
What we need is for an SAP alert to be sent out whenever a new sales order is entered.
Is this possible in SAP B1??
If it is how would you go about setting this up??

Gordon, there are basically two scenarios that wil work for me.
1. I would like an alert sent out to various individuals anytime there is a new open order entered in the system. It is my understanding that since you have to set time intervals that it will keep sending the alert until the order is closed? Is this correct or can it be setup to only send out the alert one time when order is entered?
2. If my first scenario cannot be setup then I would need an alert to go out in specified intervals that will show all open sales orders that have not be processed.

Are you talking about Windows close X. If yes, then to my knowledge there is nothing in OA Framework to handle it. You can check if it can be handled using javascripts.
