Is it possible to share my project without compressor? I cant afford it right now

I need to share this video ASAP and for that I need compressor and mine isnt working so i need to buy a new one, but i cant afford it right now. is it possible to share without using compressor

I'm trying to share, clicking 'export media' and nothing happens at all
then i click say, share to youtube and i get a message saying
The operation couldn’t be completed. (com.apple.Compressor.CompressorKit.ErrorDomain error -1.)

The only way to clear off the passcode is to restore the device. You could always try the restore process on another computer that has iTunes just to get the iPod working again, then you could plug it back into your comptuer to sync all of his content back on the iPod.

Is it possible to share a sequence between computers and different projects?

Is it possible to share a sequence between computers and different projects without copying the sequence, closing the project, opening the new project and pasting in the sequence. This workflow is to slow when it takes 40 minutes for Premierer Pro CC to load a 4tb project. Just this simple thing would take 80 minutes.

Okey, I found out how to import the seaquens, it is actually possible to make that choice after you click to import seaquence. But the problem is i do not want to import the media again. I already have that media in the other projekt. And once importingit it is offline and when I want to delete it it want to remove things from the timeline defeting the purpus. Is there a way to get aroun the fact that the program wants to import the media with the timeline.
The thing is that I want to editing on two computer. On the second computer I will edit just a few scenes that I will later bring back in to the big project that has all the material. I have been copying the material for a few scenes to another external drive and also copied the big projekt and then opened this on my laptop. Then I made all the missing material offline while the projekt found the existing material. I editid the material. Copied the projekt and opened it on my stationary editing computer and copied the timeline with the scene that I had been working on while the media was loading, then shut down the project and opend the old big projekt and pasted the timeline in to the project.
Is there an easier way?
It would be nice to be able to import the timeline (without importing the media) when I have the program opened. Since it takes 40 minutes for my media to load.

Is it possible to share sequences between people working on the same project?

We have the same media in the same bins. Yet when I copy a sequence from his project, load my project, and paste that sequence into my project, Premiere creates a Recovered Clips bin with duplicate references to most (not all) of the media already in the project. I do not want to have duplicates (triplicates+) for our project. Is there any way to prevent this or merge duplicates into the nice media structure I spent many hours setting up?

I can browse elements of my colleagues project without actually loading it (he's using Premiere 8.0.1). I'm using Premiere 8.1. I was able to browse his project and move the sequence into my root bin and no duplicates were made (at least that I can see). Thank you!

Still possible to share folio with an iPad to view, without publishing?

Is it still possible to share a folio from the folio builder panel in InDesign, so that it can be downloaded to one device (iPad) for viewing/testing or is this info out of date? Do I really have to go through all the IOS developer certs and purchasing one single serial number hoopla just to view on a single iPad?

How can I share a project specific calendar I created on Entourage 2008 without showing my personal calendar? I created a project specific calendar using Entourage 2008 for Mac. I want to add someone that uses Outlook from a PC. We are in the same exchange network. I have added this person in under the sharing tab, but don't see a way to invite her to view it, and it does not appear on her Outlook list of shared calendars. I was able to invite her to view my main calendar, but not the project specific one. Any suggestions?

Use classes in another project, without including them

Hi,
I have a full flash website that is ok. One part of the code is technical and the result of months of R&D, we would like to try to protect it from decompilers. Biggest part of the website is no need to protect but we want it to download fast.
We would like to split the AS project into 2 projects :
- swf 1 we put it on a caching CDN so that it loads fast (it's big, with some medias)
- swf 2 we want to protect, must be as small as possible because it will load slowly. The server checks the rights before it returns the swf.
- some classes are used by both projects
How would you do that ?
What I think now :
- swf 1 (the big fast) has the classes used by both projects. It loads swf 2 (the small protected) with a Loader. The URL we give to the Loader executes a PHP script which checks the rights before returning swf 2.
- swf 1 can access functions and variables from swf 2 classes BUT without auto complete, type checking, function signature checking... The 2 projects can communicate by Events.
- swf 2 can access the common classes in swf 1 :
var MyClass:Class = ApplicationDomain.currentDomain.getDefinition("com.common.MyClass")
But same problem, we don't have auto complete on variables and functions from MyClass, no ASdoc, no type checking, number of arguments checking...
To fix this, I can put the common classes in a 3rd project. I import this project 3 in project 1 and project 2. The code isn't duplicated, no problem to maintain it, but it is compiled in both projects and then swf 2 is too big.
I hope I explained it clear enough... If you figure out my problem, I'm listening !

I think we don't understand each other, I don't use the package name like a web address...
I load swf 2 in the same ApplicationDomain than swf1 with a Loader :

Then swf 2 can access all the classes in the ApplicationDomain (swf 2 classes and swf1 classes), for example :
ApplicationDomain.currentDomain.getDefinition("com.common.MyClass")
I tried to embed the code of com.common.MyClass both in swf1 and in swf 2 but then swf 2 is too big, so I would prefer to embed it just in swf 1 and have swf2 access the classes in swf1.

Help.. best way to share FC projects between 4 computers

We are a small video production company and we use four computers to edit, one Mac Pro, two iMacs and a Macbook Pro.
The problem we have is that we often need to move the projects from one computer to another, so different members of the team can pick up on a project on a different computer... we need a solution to be able to share the projects so that they are all held on a central storage device, and then we can edit them all off there.
The problem is that we work in uncompressed 1080p format, so file sizes are high.
We dont currently have any kind of network set up, and have to upload it onto a hard drive then download it to the next computer, which all takes hours to do!
What are the different options that we have with regards to networks, speed, and central storage devices?
I have read a lot on the apple website about Xsan, Xserve and Final Cut Server, but don't really understand how it all works and realistically howe much approx. it will cost to implement something like this in our company?
any help or advice is greatly appreciated about how you share projects and store data centrally.

Your question is very loaded! You really need professional integration support to properly arrive at an answer, but I'll attempt to cover the highlights.
I'll skip the part where we might consider not adopting Xsan and Final Cut Server. For collaborative workflows like yours it is an excellent, if relatively expensive option. I'll also skip the part where I explore your use of uncompressed 1080p in a world with ProRes 422 HQ; I'm sure you have your reasons (though I'm puzzled as to how you can edit that format on an iMac or MacBook and not drop frames constantly).
First, with Xsan, Mac Pros are your only choice for workstations. Xsan requires a fibrechannel connection to the client and that is only possible on a Mac Pro tower with a fibrechannel card installed. Yes, many have had some success "resharing" their Xsan over AFP or SMB or NFS, but for uncompressed 1080 that is essentially impossible. Each member computer needs a £491 fibrechannel card.
Xsan requires a dedicated computer to act as the "boss" of the SAN called a metadata controller. Many Xsan deployment shave two of them for redundancy (for the sake of thrift we'll only look at one for you). An Xserve or Mac Pro will work, so for the sake of argument we'll repurpose your existing Mac Pro for MDC duty.
So you will be replacing your four edit stations with £3,000+ Mac Pros (depending on how many goodies you put in them). You'll also need some monitors for them since they are not built-in as with your existing Macs. Let's call that another £3,000 to be safe. We'll avoid the AJA or Decklink cards, HD broadcast monitors, and other accessories since they are not really part of the SAN-scape.
You will also need a copy of Xsan software for each member computer, including the metadata controller(s) at £816 each.
You will also need a second gigabit switch for Xsan's filesystem metadata, you should be able to get one for around £100. This switch must not be shared with other network traffic!
Of course there is the RAID storage. Apple sells Promise RAIDs, and a 32TB chassis will store about 50 hours of your footage. Off the top of my head I'm not sure how many streams of that it will be able to support. Figure on needing at least two of these I reckon. £15,000 for the first one and £13,000 for the expansion chassis.
Lastly, you need a fibrechannel switch. The popular Qlogic 5600 with 8 ports active will cost £2,200.
And since you posted here, clearly you want Final Cut Server. Again, an Xserve or Mac Pro will do, and a properly spec'd one will cost about £7,000 for the hardware and another £816 for the Final Cut Server software itself.
You're already over £60,000 and you still need expert help setting it up, you'll want UPS batteries to keep the SAN stable, and we haven't touched on backing it all up.
You could easily spend £100,000 before you are done. It might be an intimidating figure, but that's the ante for this game.

Is it possible to create a WBS without Company code

I am a SAP CRM guy and I am creating a WBS in PS system from CRM Campaigns.
My question is whether its possible to create a WBSE without having a Comapny code?
The reason we need this is because we are planning campaigns at a very high level and later we want to procure for these cmapaings at multiple company codes and cost centers through SRM. So we do not want to restrict the WBSE to one comapny code.

The reason this scenario does not seem to be feasible is we have a one to one relationship between campaigns and WBSEs. Creating multiple WBSEs would translate as creating multiple campaigns, which we want to avoid at the first place as this increases the amount of data entry for planning and planning will become based on the procurement we is not the right way.
However, atleast I am sure now that I cannot have WBSE without company code.

Logic crashes when using the "Close Project without Saving" key command

The "Close Project without Saving" key command does not work in LP8. When I try to use it, Logic crashes. This is reproducible on my system. Can anyone try and confirm this?

For me this shortcut is quite important on stage when I have to switch songs as fast as possible. It also is foolproof because on stage I never want to save with all the controller changes I did during a performance.
Just hit the key command, load the next song, done.

The problem is when I tray to export or to share an Imovie project to Idvd, it close whenit begin to prepare the project .The Imovie9 version 8.0.6 (821). Mac 10.6 8
What could I do to share this project, but without lost it?.

You will have to purchase the newest iLife in the boxed set to get the latest version of iDVD. Or you can try using some other DVD burning software such as Roxio's Toast. Look for it and others at MacUpdate or CNET Downloads

I am having the same problem but I'm storing the MPP file on a SharePoint site. My boss and I want to share the MPP file so we can both make updates and use other Project features. I can open it in Project Pro 2013 with no problems, make changes,
close it and everything is fine. When you opens the Task List from SharePoint and click on the Open in Project it opens and he can do everything, but it saves the MPP file to his local drive and I don't see his changes.

Hi all
I posted a similar problem earlier, and thought it was resolved, but now it's happening again and worse.
( I keep my imovies on an external drive, which has been fine before (maybe before snow leopard update?) )
Briefly:
I created an new event and imported clips.
I created a new project 1, edited but did not share.
Created project 2, edited. Quit imovie.
today, opened imovie: project 2 was active so I shared it.
Went to project pane: project 1 was empty. Recreated project 1 and shared it.
Created new project 3:.... project 1 would not leave the editing window so quit imovie.
Re-opened imovie:
Project pane: project 1 is empty, project 2 is empty, but shared indication is there. opened project 3 to edit and share.
new project 4: project 3 wouldn't leave the window to allow editing of 4.
Quit and deleted preferences (imovie8 plist as well as the iapps plist from my user/library/preferences). but no improvement: Now projects 1, 2, and 3 are empty (but shared)
What the heck is happening and how can I fix it? I'm tired of sharing and then quitting the app as the only way to work on a new project and am afraid that if i have a big project, and can't share the same day I start it, it will be gone when i reopen the app the next day!!

Well, as no one was able to offer a solution, i reinstalled the whole iLife 09 package. This at least allowed me to install the updates (which I couldn't do before).
A test movie creation works, without the edited work disappearing. I don't want to have to reinstall every time it happens, though, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the problem is now solved.

Share iMovie project between iMac and iPad?

Is it possible to share and continue a iMovie project between a iMac and iPad?
Or the share is only possible between iOS devices?

In general the simplest way would be to store the document in iCloud, and use iCloud to access the document from both your iMac and iPad.
But your post above says you're running Snow Leopard (OS X 10.6.4). Snow Leopard is now two years old. I'm not sure it supports iCloud.
