Is it possible to show Illustrator window in my c# app?

Hello,
I just wanted to ask maybe there is a possibility to use Illustrator like user control? There is such a possibility with Acrobat by using AcroPDF COM object.

In the View menu do you have, Group Events by Disk, Grou Events by Month and Show Separate Dates in Events all checked?
That should allow you the broadest way to view all your Events.

Is there any possibility to show English interface in Chinese windows-xp?

I'm using English Windows-XP, but "Language for non-Unicode program" setting has to be set as "Chinese(PRC)" to show Chinese word correctly in my laptop.
ODI interface in this environment always show in Chinese, but all the manual is in English, so it's difficult for me to make clear which word in ODI interface is the meaning in manual.
My question is, Is there any possibility to show ODI English interface even "Language for non-Unicode program" setting in my Windows-XP is "Chinese(PRC)"?

"show my windows and tabs from last time" does not work after upgrade to 8.01

After I upgraded to the latest v8.01 I have lost all my tabbed sites and even when trying to add them and save them with the Tools>Options>General>Start up>when Firefox starts selected feature "show my windows and tabs from last time" it does not hold the saved sites and when browser is restarted it always loses all the tabs and only shows one tab with Firefox home webpage. I need to have several sites open to work and the only way to do that now is to make sure I click the "Use current pages" under General Option in Tools. It is getting very annoying because I keep changing my tabs to different websites during a session and I am used to just closing the browser, relying on having them all back in when restarting Firefox.

Make sure that you do not use Clear Recent History to clear the <i>Browsing History</i> when you close Firefox.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js [2] file and possible sessionstore-##.js [3] files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

How to show Popup window in OAF on click of a button (Without using Javascript)
1. I have one OAF page on which i should have button Called "Next"
2. On clicking of this button a new window/page should be displayed with the image stored in database. on clicking on this "Next" button again next image from the database should be displayed on the newly opened window/page.
3. Is it possible to configure OAF to render window_II in the opposite screen of window_I where the OAF client resides? (If the OAF-client resides in screen_I render window with image in screen_II). That is, at the first click on the Next-button, window_II appers on screen_II and not some random location. The user will have 2 screen/monitors on his work place.
4. Given that the two windows reside on each screen, is it possible to make OAF remember the position of window_II ? The goal of this is to force the window to pop up on the same location on the same screen next time the Next-button is pressed.
5. If window_II is closed (eg. by using X) and the Next-button in window_I is pressed again, will window_II pop up in the same location and screen as previously ?
6. Is it possible to have a Print-button in window_I what prints the scanned picture in window_II ? Is it possible to have the click on this Print-button to open the standard print dialog on top of window_II ? Could the button be placed in window_II as well, having the same functionality ?

Options Startup Show my Windows & Tabs from last time,but upon exit FF doesn't ask to save tabs & windows. When restarting FF I have a home pape,but no Bookmark tabs show. Why

Upon starting FF and going to my Home Page, I have no Bookmarks or Tabs showing. I have to Re-load the Bookmark Tabs. My options at Startup are "Show my Windows & Tabs from last time" Also using the Firefox exit,it does not ask to save tabs & windows on Exit. I'm getting tired of adding Bookmark Tabs each time I want to use FF.

Is it possible to show data from two different sql tables?

Is it possible to show data from two different sql tables? Either to show combined data by using a join on a foreign key or showing a typical master detail view?
I have one table With data about a house, and another table With URL's to images in the blob. Could these two be combined in the same Gallery?

Closing Illustrator Window!

Is there ANY keystroke that will send the EMPTY Illustrator window to the dock after you have saved your work? Can't find a solution to get rid of the darn blank window that obscures other windown behind it - you know like a cmd. W! so I can work in other programs and still keep Illustrator running in the background. Only way right now is going to the top and double clicking to send it to the doc. How frustrating! Slows me down!

It's just the BLANK window. Artwork saved and closed. As you can see several windows are open BEHIND this window. Of course, InDesign does the same thing. My choices are (using the mouse, a slow-down) dbl. click at top - sending it to the dock or just QUIT the program from the keyboard to get this gray monstrosity out of my way and see the finder again. I would just rather have a keystroke. It's not like I don't know how to navigate - I just don't want to leave the keyboard if I don't have to! Photoshop DOESN'T do this. Of course, neither does Quark. Yes, the toolbars are still there but, when you close that pic or layout you don't have this obstructive window left! When I WANT a window I make it with Cmd. N. When I'm finished I close it with a Cmd. W. When I need that program again I click on it in the dock.
Anyway - just a thought for a possible change. The always present window smells of just that - WINDOWS. Sometimes though - even there - there are SOME keystroke commands for closing windows under certain circumstances.

Getting Spotlight "Show All" window to only show emails

In Spotlight's "Show All" window (the same one you get when you Command-F from the Finder) there's a way to select what kind of things you want to see. However, for some reason the "Kind" list doesn't include "Mail Messages". It has "Applications", "Documents", "Folders", etc. but nothing to find emails. I notice that if I choose kind "Other" and type "Mail" in the box, I do see email messages, but it's odd that emails aren't in the list. Anybody know if it's possible to modify the set of things that shows up in the "Kind" list so I can find emails more easily?

Weird. My "Kind" list is Any, Applications, Documents, Folders, Images, Movies, Music, PDF, Presentations, Text, Other.
I tried enabling and disabling various kinds in the Spotlight preferences pane. Although that changed the set of results (as you'd expect) it had no effect on the set of items shown in the "Kind" list.
Wonder what's happening here?

"Show All Windows" in Mission Control

Hey everyone!
In Snow Leopard you had this amazing feature that when you push and hold the mouse button on an active application in the dock, all the windows of that application would pop up beside each other.
Doing so in Lion just generates a sub-menu, where you have to click the "Show All Windows" yourself.
Is it possible to get the Snow Leopard function in Lion?

I dont use the Trackpad, just a mouse. Moments after I typed it, the answer was suggested already:
CTRL+Mission Control button does exactly what I want.
Is it possible to reconfigure this shortcut to the Snow Leopard way? (Pushing and holding the mouse button on an app in the dock for the same results)

FM9: Possible to make "fit window to page" the default?

I'm using FM9, structured, on Windows 7. (My company recently upgraded from FM7.0.) In FM 7.0, my documents seemed to remember the last zoom I had set, and if I saved them having set "Fit Window to Page", the next time I opened the document that setting would be in effect.
This doesn't seem to be the case with FM9. Every time I open a document, its window fills the screen, and I need to manually fit the page to my preferred zoom (100 or 90%) from the Zoom status bar menu. There are a lot of options for tweaking preferences for windows - I have not selected to open documents as tabs, for example - and I wonder whether a preference setting is preventing the fit window to page setting from being remembered per document, or whether there is any other way I can make that the default for opening documents.

Still struggling with this, and the possible confounding factors, like differnet interface preference settings. Some online research I've done seems to point to this being a problem in FM9, that is, setting a default zoom and fit for all documents. There are some third-party plugins that say they can do this... but not for FM9. So maybe the answer is "upgrade to FM 10", but that isn't an option for my department at this time.
Further symptoms:
- If I open all chapters in a book together in a single tabbed window, and explicitly set the first document to Fit Window to Page, I get what I want for that document, but as soon as I choose another chapter in anotehr tab, the window widens (I show a single page only), leaving a lot of gray empty window space. I can explicitly set THAT document to Fit Window to Page, but when I click back on the first chapter I was working on, it opens wide; it has lost the Fit Window to Page I originally set for it. Working that way, any time I change tabs, and frequently when I do operations like changing the conditional text that shows, the window containing all the tabs widens. I would like to prevent that if possible.
- Even when working on individual chapters, if I set one to Fit Window to Page (a setting that held, if I subsequently saved the document, in FM7) the setting is not (consistently, it seems) remembered, and the next time I open the single chapter, the window opens wide, or maximized (23" wide monitor) as if it is trying to give me a two-page view, but I'm only working with one page views (my preference because it's what I'm used to).
- Regardless of how the files open individually (sometimes the zoom and fit seems to hold), when I open a book file, then use Open All Files In Book (having set the interface to NOT open all the files as tabs in a single window), I get this bizarre Time Tunnel effect whereby each chapter opens in a window that fits within the bounds of the previous chapter. If the first chapter opens correctly, say 100% zoom and Fit Window to Page, the second opens at 100% zoom, but fits in the first, the third within the second, and if the book has enough chapters, the last chapters are vertically tiny, not showing more than a line or two of text. So I need to manually rearrange and re-fit them all before I work on them. What a pain.
I have to say, the FM9 interface is awfully clunky. I don't know if it's implemented (partly) using Flash or what, but whole book operations like opening or closing all files, saving a book as PDF, sometimes even just switching the conditional text that is shown generally result in a frozen screen and a title bar that indicates "not responding" for a couple of minutes before FM9 gets it's act together and returns (often with windows resized and zoomed). It can be pretty frustrating to work with, and can really slow me down.
I'm using structured FM, but not DITA - in house designed EDD, probably based on docbook, but I'm not sure. FM9 is completely updated with available patches.
I've tried playing with the different Interface Preferences, to see if that helps - variously having FM open files as tabs to share the same large tabbed window, or turning that off to have them open as individual files in individual windows. I still cannot get Fit Window to Page to hold consistently. It's a relatively minor nit, but it is annoying, and gobbles extra time for me to keep resetting the working environment as I like it. I have set up a workspace for myself, but this doesn't seem to include the zoom settings, only the various palettes/panels and their states and positions.
If anyone knows of or discovers a fix to this issue, your help would be much appreciated.

Adobe Application Mananager Shows Illustrator as being installed but it is not

The Adobe Application Manager - or Creative Cloud panel - Shows Illustrator as being installed (green arrow checked "up to date" ) - but I cannot find it anywhere on my system - no Shorcut - no registry entry - not in the default install location under program files of other Adobe apps - cannot find in search
I opened control panel "Programs and Features" to Install/Uninstall software - clicked on illustrator cc to uninstall the app - Opened a dialogue and very quickly "uninstalled" the not installed app
Still in Adobe CC panel
Does not show up in control panel > "Programs and Features" anymore
Where can I download the Executable or msi install file??

Are you sure that you donot have PS CS6 installed on this machine? You can check that from Control Panel.
If still same issue, you might need to re-install AAM. Try the below suggestions and check :

Yes, you could make sub-vi with disabled some options, and at your 'main' vi
add sequence with two frames: first for sub-vi and 'wati[ms]' function and
second for your 'main' program.
When you mouse right-click at right corner on icon and select 'VI Setup'
- at 'Window Options'
- disable all options (or enable 'Dialog Box' - try to use it for known
differences).

Make sure that you do not use "Clear Recent History" to clear the "Browsing History" when Firefox is closed because that prevails and prevents Firefox from opening tabs from the previous session.

If you use cleanup software like CCleaner then make sure that Session is unchecked in the settings for the Firefox application.

is it possible to show the battery life not only in percent but also in hours and minutes in the taskbar? (Windows 7 64bit)
Power Saver doesn't support Windows 7, I think. Is there any other utility which can show battery infos?

Unfortunately only the battery capacity (in %) will be shown.
Toshiba power saver is designed for Win7 but this tool is not the same as on WXP and the control over power settings has operating system itself.
To be honest this with hours and minutes was for me just confusing because this info was not so exact.
When 1 hour was shown I was able to use my notebook not longer than 40 minutes.
You can try to use third part applications for that.
