I am using a brand new iPad Air and a MacBook Pro with Retina and on the Computer using Adobe Digitial Edition there is no possibility to jump forward/back using the arrows in the menu. It is not possible to jump to a certain page as well. The overall speed is incredible slow to switch between pages.
Exact same problem here - Win 7, ADE V3.0. - pages wont turn unless I click on the symbol at the top RHS of screen for Full/Normal size screen after Page Up/down or a click on the contents page.
Hopefully a bug or something, and not a 'feature' :-) -
I can't locate my iphone as the app findmyiphone is off. Is it possible to shutdown the iphone so the thief can't use it?
No. If you did not activate find my iPhone then here's nothing you can do. Lesson learned.

i haven't tried it yet but i saw it in a forum from some site, it's using shell...
don't worry i'll try it..
i thought people here are nice so i try to ask question and it's actually answered most of the time...
by the way, with my question, a simple YES or NO would be fine!!!You might think we're being rude, but that's not the case. For a great number of questions people ask here, the far better approach would be to use a search engine. For simple "how do I do this?"-type questions, it would take you a matter of seconds to find an answer on Google, compared with possibly hours, possibly not even getting an answer at all, asking here. Being able to do this yourself is an invaluable skill that all programmers should have. Writing software is difficult, and you'll hit loads of problems along the way. Imagine how long it would take you to solve them if you waited for an answer on a forum for them all. The forums are a better resource for when you've tried something, and simply can't work out why it doesn't work, that sort of thing. For API calls (Java or otherwise) documentation and the like, asking a forum is the least effective way of you getting an answer to your question -
i have just dowloaded the icloud control panel on my PC and i am am able to see everything that has been pushed to icloud from my ipad. Hey Dears, I was working with my Macbook pro 2011, then i have some flash light in the screen, so i shutdown the computer, when i try to open it again i had a black screen, so any one of you have any idea about what should i have to do ?
Can you start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] ?
You can also do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

Is it possible to read the file using File Adapter which is in client machi
Is it possible to read the file using file Adapter which is in client machine(on the same network). Then what is thee need of FTP Adapter?
You can achieve that by exposing your client machine as a drive, then you can go using file adapter.
FTP adapter will help you to communicate with different machine which is in different network.
It is considered good etiquette to reward answerers with points (as "helpful" - 5 pts - or "correct" - 10pts).

Hibernation does not shutdown the computer
Hello,
the hibernation was working perfectly until one of the last updates. I can not say exactly when things get broken since I didn't rebooted my computer for weeks (it was in hibernation only) and so the last kernel updates were probably not applied... However, after a real reboot, when I hibernate now, everything works fine except that I have to "shutdown" the computer manually pressing the on/off button myself. When I start the computer again, it resumes from hibernation perfectly without doing the whole start sequence...
Does someone have an idea where I could look for to avoid pressing the on/off button myself to close the computer?
Thanks for your help,
Salvatore
PS: I am working with KDE and have an ATI graphic card.I investigate the polkit area... arrived to the file "/usr/share/polkit-1/actions/org.freedesktop.login1.policy" that I modified frw time ago (to enable my wife to hibernate when my session was open). I thought the problem may come from here... so I reinstalled systemd and other small package to recover the original configuration of the files in the directory /usr/share/polkit-1/actions/.
But it is still not working... I start to loose my hope

There is a strange line with an error (in French):

that means : line 9: write error - operation not allowed.
Any idea how can I allow pcie_aspm to shutdown my computer ? -
Do all the settings (bookmarks, browsing history etc...) remain on the computer used with "Sync" after signing off from your "Sync" account?
== This happened ==
Not sure how oftenHow is that related to the Firefox Sync extension and service?
What type of file is that?
Where are you getting that file from? -
I am trying to deauthorize my audible account. It says the user name and/or password are incorrect after I had just deauthorized the computer using the same user name and password and logging in to post this. They should be the same password correct?
Deauthorize Audible Account... always appears as a menu selection, even if you deauthorized Audible or never even had an account.
Audible is a different account from iTunes and does not require the same username / password. -
I am use homesharing, but cannot sync the main library from the secondary computer to an iphone. It shows the entire libaray on the computer, but only shows a few songs when I try to sync iphone with the computer using homesharing.
