Is it possible to sort template names?

When creating a new page you choose a template from a drop-down list of templates. Is it possible to sort this list in any way?

I just purchased Elements 10 and am disappointed that it is not possible to 'sort by name' in the Album. This is a basic fundamental option in all OS so why not in Elements 10?

Albums will usually respect file names (alphabetical order) if you change from date sort.
You can also drag to arrange and the photos will retain their fixed (numbered) positions.

I can't think of a logical order within folders that works better than alphabetical in most cases -- one exception is a bookmarks folder containing bookmarks to create a set of app-tabs in a specific order controlled by prefixing by numbers or many bookmark separators. The bookmarks toolbar is a possible exception but I have all of my bookmarks automatically sorted. I make use of bookmark separators to group bookmarks so that bookmarks are sorted within each group but not moved to another group. Here is a picture of my Bookmark Toolbar

:names are kept very short to save space on the toolbar 1-3 chars for most of them. The bookmarks there are used like toolbar buttons and they are all bookmarklets (contain JavaScript).

I am a new macbook user forced to give up Digital Image Pro (winXP), and looking for a photo program that sorts BY NAME. REPEAT BY NAME.
I was ready to purchase PSE11, but luckily I read this forum and saw that in your infinite wisdom you spared every expense and removed this function.
I have no need for face recognition, type of photo, etc.
Should I abandon 15 years of files all sorted by where they were taken?
I think not. For you to do this to previous owners shows a blatant disregard for them.
I will look elsewhere and not to a Photoshop product.
Should you provide an update that corrects this I would consider installing it on my 2 new Apple machines. Hurry though......

I sort mine 5.1.11, 5.2.11, etc. - that works (adding letters to the numerals does not work as well). Starting with the month will also work better because there are only 12 of them (rather than a repetition of days).

OWB - -email templates - possible to output host name?

Hi,
We have amnay porcess flows which use e-mail templates.
However this doen not show the host where th e-mail originated from.
Can cause confusion where same process flwos run on dev/test and production
Is it possible for the host name to be output in the e-mail body.
If so, how best.
Ways I can think of doing it have diff e-mail addresses in the template e-mail e.g ltest/dev/prod or call procedure to return host name assign this to variable and output this in message body

IMAP does not support Push. There is no way around this. IF your provider supports Exchange Active Sync, you can set it up as an Exchange account, which does support push.

Is it possible to sort text/iMessages into alphabetical order instead of just by date?? Would be great to have the option to sort by different filters or even to initiate a search of a particular subject/word or persons name.

In column view, is it possible to sort items by kind but always show folders first? There's a hack explained here: http://www.bece.org/Home/tabid/36/EntryID/5/Default.aspx but by using this hack, in list view, the kind for folders is displayed as ~Folder instead of Folder.

Using PDF in template name!

All,
I have a peculiar situation. We want to use the output management part of Central Pro server, which means to say that i have already generated a PDF file by merging template and data in step 1 of a job (using PDF presentment for the template). In step 2, I call a custom agent to do certain modifications to the PDf file like adding addition pages to the PDF, etc. Now i want to send the new PDF to a printer or email or fax. Is is possible to do the same in Central Pro? If yes, how can this be accomplished?
One thing that come to my mind is to give the new PDF as the template name and have dummy dataset and use the options in the command line to redirect the output appropiately.

I have read Tammy's message, but beware on this as I have tried this with Adobe Output Manager.
When you copy a PDF to a printer, then it is the PDF code that is printed. In otherwords the output will be the PDF code and not the PDF document.
If you print a document to a printer (PCL) then it uses the PCL code or Postscript in the case of Postscript Printers.
There are a number of switches that you can use, to print a document to a printer using Adobe Acrobate Reader.
I will dig them out and post them to this site.

Get spawned template name as a string

Anyone know if it is possible to get a spawned templates name?
I need to check the validity of a field depending on which template is spawned? so my field might be named P1.template_1.fieldx
So im thinking like this:

A "spawned" template creates a new page and has no template name. Since you specify the location of where the new page is placed you should know the number for the "p#" prefix for the create form fields as well as the template name that was used to create the new page.

In previous PSE(8/9/10), after change to folder view in EO, the files/Photo in folder selected will be sorted automatically by name, but I cannot sort by other methods (no [Sort By]).
However, in PSE11, folder view has gone. I can sort by Newest, Oldest and Import Batch. but I want to know how can I do auto-sort-by-name?

ITunes 11: In the store, I can no longer sort by name/artist/album

I can no longer sort by name or artist or album when I'm in the store with iTunes 11. Yes, I discovered the View Options in the Menu Bar. By when I select it nothing opens. Same for Command-J. It doesn't do anything either. I've tried hitting Command-J repeatedly, but nothing.
The fact is, it seems utterly stupid to have this work differently than when you're in your library---by simply hitting name/artist or album in the bar at the top of the list. Having to sort lists in the Store via a completely different method than the lists in one's library is totally counter-intuitive.
But back to my problem: The View Options won't open for me. Anybody know how to fix this?
I've got a lot of music I wish to buy, but I need different methods of sorting, otherwise it'll be a nightmare trying to keep track of things.

I have the same exact problem. I am using a Windows computer running Windows 7. I was able to see them prior to the installation of 10.4. I have this problem on 2 computers and have a hard time believing that no one else is having this problem
