Is it possible to stream from my iphone to other devices?
Hi
I have a 3G iphone and would like to upgrade to the iphone 4S.
I would like to know if it is possible to stream videos, music and pictures from my iphone to my samsung smart tv or is homegroup on my laptop a possible alternative meanwhile?
Basically I am looking to link laptop + phone + TV for a digital playground of fun... if you know what I mean

There is strong evidence to suggest the AppleTV will be updated in the near future to support 1080p video.
If you believe the rumour sites (iPhone 5 anyone?) there is evidence to suggest the AppleTV will be updated to support 1080p video. However, no evidence of a timescale for the update has been found, so not necessarily "in the near future".

Deleting photo stream from iPad but not other devices
I created a photo stream last year to share pictures with my relatives. It shows up on my iMac, my wife's MBP and my iPad as well as the relatives computers and phones. Now another relative has created a stream for this year and it currently appears on all of those devices.
I would like to delete the old photo stream from just my iPad to free up some much needed space while leaving it on the other devices. I also want to keep receiving pictures in the new photo stream which appears to mean I cannot turn off iCloud. When I click edit and click on the X at the corner of the old photos stream, it says it is going to delete it from all devices.
How can I just delete the old one from just my iPad?This is not possible as far as I know. The best option would be to save the photos from that photo stream to a computer using iPhoto or Aperture and then disband the photo stream (giving the other shared members plenty of notice so they can nab those photos to local storage as well).

My mom and I both have iphones and whenever one of my friends or I set up a photo stream she gets it too. How can I stop this from happening?
To fix this you need to be on a separate iCloud account (when you share and account, you share your photo stream). To migrate your phone to a separate account, start by saving any photos not in your camera roll to your camera roll by opening your my photo stream album, tapping Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon (box with upward pointing arrow), then tapping Save to Camera Roll.
Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Keep on My iPhone when prompted, then sign back in with a separate Apple ID to create your new account and choose Merge to upload your data. (Deleting the account only deletes it from your phone, not from iCloud. Your mom's phone wont be effected by this. Also, you can continue to share the same ID for iTunes and App Store purchasing, it doesn't need to be the same as your iCloud ID.) Once you are on a different account, your photo stream will be no longer be merged with your mother's. -
Photo stream from 2 iPhones to 1 Mac
My wife and I each have an iPhone using our own Apple IDs. However, we only have 1 iPhoto library which is on our shared Mac under my Apple ID. I don't want to create another iPhoto library and I wondered, is it possible to stream from our two phones to one iPhoto account using the Cloud?
No, at least not yet. Maybe it'll be something to come along in an update.
It's a little weird, on Windows you can sinc Photostream to a folder, but on the Mac you can only sinc to iPhoto or Aperture. If on a Mac you could sinc to a folder, then you could do that with one of the phones and have a simple Automator application automatically import those into your 1 iPhoto Library. -

AirPlay requires the ATV and source (iPhone/iPad/computer) be on the same network, wired or wireless. -
My photos are not streaming from my iPhone 4 to my iPad 7. The settings are correct and it always has before I had a recent holiday in Cuba. Those photos didn't stream and now new photos since home in Vancouver, Canada are not? Both are updated to IOS 7.1.2
Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. You can always make a reservation at the Genius Bar and see what those guys can do because it seems that they are still there, they are just 'hidden' from view. http://concierge.apple.com/reservation/gb/en/techsupport/

In brief (assuming you have a wi-fi network) Play some music using music app, Double-click the home button, slide bottom left to right. You should see a litte down arrow, choose your ATV from the pop-up menu. Exact method varies a bit by device and iOS version, so if that doesn't work you might try reading the manual (iOS #.# for iPhone) it should be listed under AirPlay or Mirroring...

You could try going to System Preferences>iCloud, unchecking Photo Stream, restarting your Mac and then going back and rechecking Photo Stream. You may want to be sure your photo stream photos are saved to your events in iPhoto before unchecking photo stream since you are likely to only get back photos added to your photo stream in the last 30 days when you re-enable it again.

I had Apple TV up and running for about 3 weeks. All good... then I get an update. Since then I've got the HDCP error, so Netflix doesn't work, nor can I stream from my iphone. By shear coincidence, my Sky TV has flagged up the exact same issue at the same time, despite being problem freem for 3 years ?? So nothing on my TV except YouTube. Looking at the amount of forum content on this matter, Apple know this is a problem.
It's too much of a coincidence not to be related. I requested a phone call at 8:45 this morning, which happened to be 9:00, so I'd left the house. The useless guy said he'd email me something to help..... and I'm still waiting for that email.
I've tried swapping HDMI cables, resetting Sky and Apple TV, resetting the router, changing resolution in the Audio Visual settings, switching on in different sequences.... I'm lost with it.
Is Apple now run by monkeys ? This is beyond a joke. How can an update ruin everything ?

Still possible to stream from rhapsody?
so I pulled out my DMP100 + DMRW1000 which I haven't used in a couple years. I got everything setup and working except Rhapsody. Is it still possible to stream from Rhapsody? Cisco Media Player connects to rhapsody and I can browse everything, however when I try and play I get error "Could not download from the Rhapsody server. Please check your network settings and try again. Press OK to continue.". I'm hesitant to sign up for account at Rhapsody because I'm not sure it will sync with Cisco account.Still no luck. I even signed up for rhapsody account with identical email address and password as Cisco account. When I try and play from Cisco Media Center I get "Rhapsody service download error". When I login to Cisco account to configure services there are no services to choose from and webpage reports error.

You can store pictures and documents in Dropbox or Google drive. These are cloud storage apps that keep your information stored off the phone, but available any time. You can send pages documents to either app in a different format for editing.
make sure you delete old messages, phone logs, email, as they take up space also. -

I have iCloud downloaded to my PC and viseos in the upload folder but don't see where it shows on my iPhone or Mac notebook.
