Is it possible to stretch or make the time line smaller or consolidate it?
Hi how do I consolidate adobe flash arrange window area so that I can make my time line small to be able to see the whole movie with keyframes how I want to see them. there are some times I have to scrool alway the way right, how do i avoide from doing this?
Something similar to how adobes audition stretches waves is this possible to do in your timeline?
You're basically just changing the size of the frames in the timele. Selecting the smallest possible size frame will of course allow more of the timeline to ve seen in the viewable area. I understand that sometimes no matter what you do, you may end up with timelines containing a lot of frames. But this can be minimized by making good use of embedded movie clips and AS classes for teed ing and other things that normally require frames and keyframes.

i have Adobe premiere 12 elements I have Buy it but this program is Corrupt. the are no sound on the time line. Is it possible to run Acrobat3D from the command line?
I'd like to know if it is possible to run Arobat3D from the command line in batch mode. I'm interested in knowing if this is possible in either a windows or unix environment.
My objective is to convert CAD data e.g. CATIA V5 or DXF etc to PDF, in batch mode without using the Acrobat3D interface itself.
I know that it's possible to run a batch process from within Acrobat3D itself, therefore one solution may be to invoke those batch processes from the command line.
I've looked through the other listings on this forum and seen this question asked previously, but I've not seen any responses that suggest this is even a feasible concept.As of now, it's not possible in the cmd-mode to just remain connected and not stream.
But the reason you want to do that is because of the long start-up time. That 20 sec time can be divided into:
1. launch time
2. time to start encoding (after pressing start button) -> cannot be reduced even if 'connected only' feature is available in cmd-line
Below are tips you can use to reduce this 20 sec of time:
1. Lesser the no. of devices connected to the system, shorter is the launch time. Disable the devices which are not to be used in the session.
2. Try using device indexes (0, 1, 2, etc) instead of device names in the profile. Indexes might change after you disable some of the devices.
3. Use the profile with correct settings, to avoid any validation errors.
4. Higher the video size, higher is the overall time. Small sizes take lesser time to start.
Let me know if you see any improvement in the startup time. -
How to make the last line of the textarea visible all the time?

I am making an online chat application in JSP and XHTML. The chat log and online users� names textareas are refreshed every 5 seconds. When it comes to many messages in the chat log textarea, the scrollbar appears. Then, every time the chat log textarea is refreshed, I need to move the scrollbar down to see the last line of the textarea.
Are there any ideas how to make the last line of the textarea visible all the time without moving the scrollbar?

Yes. It's at the minimum size via that method, but is much too large. I like to have it open always and in the previous OS the window was much smaller. Thanks for the suggestion nonetheless.

be no colored line over this Timeline content.
If you do not have the correct project preset, there will be a red line
over this Timeline content.
What version of Premiere Elements are you using and on what computer
operating system is it running? APE 8 Windows XP 3GB of ram Pentium Dual core

If you are talking "red" line, then you must be working with a version of
Premiere Elements earlier than 11. Assuming that....
If your project preset matches the properties of your source media, then,
when you bring one of those files to the Timeline, you will get no colored
line over the Timeline. But, after that, after you edit that content, a red
line will appear. That is when you render the Timeline content to turn the
line green.Thereafter, that original content will never revert to the no
colored line status as you work through editing that project. It will just go
through the red green color indicator system.
No colored line and green = the program telling you that you now have the
best possible preview of the Timeline content when viewing it in the Edit
Mode monitor playback. Red line = the program telling you that you do not
have the best possible preview of the Timeline content and, if you want that,
then you can press the Enter key of the computer main keyboard to make that
happen.

How do I go directly from one frame to another particular frame which is far away in the time line? (e.g the two frames are separated by 100 frames). I mean, is it possible to take the playhead from one frame to another frame directly which is 100 frames away in the time line? Thanks for any reply.
In the Timeline, go to the first frame and press M to put a marker on it. Go to the other frame you want to jump to and put a marker on that one too.
Now press Ctrl+Semicolon to go to the previous marker - or Ctrl+Comma to go to the next marker.

How to reclaim spare space back at the end of my clips on the time line
When I have edited stuff on the time line I find that through moving clips around that I have an empty space after my collection of clips that I have arranged. How do I reclaim that empty space back so that where my clips end so does the time line.
I have tried saving the project and reopening it but this does not seem to do anything as I still have the space left.
Any help would be gratefully received Thanx ahead of time.Control click on the empty space and, on the drop down menu, click on Convert Empty Space to Clip. Then, delete the clip you just created.
If the empty space is at the end of your movie, you can do the same as above. But, if your playhead still continues moving past the end of the movie, then expand your time line as wide as possible and check down your time line for little bits of clips left over from editing, and delete those. Any audio that extends past your video clips at the end of the movie should be trimmed back as well, even if you have muted them. -
Adding Marker to the time line
I want to add markers to the entire video on the time line but i have alot of scenes over 100 i want to mark the scenes at the begaining

Extending video layers across the time line simultaneously
Any one Know how to extend video layers across the time line simultaneously?
I have been working on a Video for a few days and have all the layers I need to make my video but when I came to start creting the clip on the timeline there was no promt asking me how long I want the clip to be. I want to extend all the layers on the clip to 21:10 seconds similtaniously. Ther is about 600 layers in numorous groups and I dont want to have to extend each layer across the time line to 21:10 seconds individualy?
can any one help?it is currently lacking the ability to adjust the length using multiple layers at once. However that said, if you are done animating the layer individualy, you can select all layer (or a partial) and convert them to a smart object. That smart object can then be extended in time. Playing in photoshop maybe slower due to the smart object.
