Is it possible to Sync Asha 202 with pc suite?

I am willing to buy a Nokia Asha 202 but it is strictly necessary for me to sync it with Outlook 2010.
I (have to) use PC Suite 7.1 (2009). Will that work?
In general, does PC Suite 7.1 work with all newer S30 or S40 Nokias?

The current version of the PC Suite is 7.1.180.94 from 3rd July 2012. And no, even the current Nokia Suite 3.8.30 does not work with all Nokia Series 40, like the Nokia 301. Consequently your question is: Does the Nokia 202 work with a PC Suite version from 2009? Is that correct?

Not if it's not the original computer you registered it on.

  • Is it possible to sync the iphone with my company's email server

Is it possible to sync the iphone with my company's email server (Novell Groupwise)? I have the option of getting a blackberry or iphone. I want the iphone, but I also want to be able to sync it with my work email since I am away from the office a lot. I know I need to contact the IT department, but I thought I would try here to see what experiences people had with this sistuation. Thanks.

Depends on what protocols they will allow (or can). If they open up POP or better yet IMAP access, then yes, sure. It is all about the protocols available to you (them). Though note, the iPhone checks on an interval where the Blackberry has emails pushed to it. So with iPhone, the min interval time is 15mins.

  • Is it possible to Sync Apple TV with Time Capsule ?

Is it possible to sync Apple TV with Time Capsule ?

Is it possible to sync Apple TV with Time Capsule ?
I'm not entirely sure what you are asking here. You can use the TC for your itunes media instead of locally on your PC, you will still need to run itunes on your PC though to sync any of the content to the apple tv.
Is it possible to use Time Capsule to back up a Vista based computer ?
    I don't see why not.
Is it possible to back up my iTuens library on my Time Capsule ?
Yes, but if you intend keeping the original content on the TC (as per Q1), I'm not so sure it would be a good idea, most people seem to lose content through drive failures rather than deleting by mistake, a drive failure would wipe out the original media and the back up at the same time.

  • Is it possible to sync Lumia 1020 with Windows Con...

I was considering a Lumia 1020 (or perhaps an upcoming version with same camera capability), but something seems to be wrong there.
For now I am still using a Nokia N8 together with Nokia Suite. I can sync my Windows Contacts *including the contact image for each contact* (where available). Also, when I am on my desk, I send and read received SMS messages exclussively on PC, phone connected via bluetooth. No cable, no cloud involved, I even don't have to touch or look at phone itself.
Some time ago, during one of the Nokia Suite upgrades, I remember it said something like „added compatibility with Lumia phones”. However, these days I read that Lumia is only compatible with Zune, which AFAIK is merely a multimedia sync platform.
I don't want to upload my contacts in cloud (any cloud, regardless the owner).
I don't want to install Outlook. I seem to remember that the Outlook version I already have cannot use the xml Windows Contacts, but only the older Address book or something. As for contact pictures, no way.
So, question: assuming I own a Lumia 1020, can I use Nokia Suite the same I was used to ?
If not, Zune is able to handle the Windows Contacts in same way ?
What about sending and reading received SMS messages using the PC ?

That I begin to understand. I don't care much about what brand, but for my work I do care about a very good phone camera with xenon flash and a good associated PC application where I can copy and paste strings to and from SMS messages (among other things). So it seems I have to look elsewhere.
Too bad. Nokia 808 was a perfect thing for this purpose, but unfortunately it was never marketed in my geographical location. Now things only gets worse.

Wrong. I tested direct contacts sync between a Samsung Galaxy tablet with my PC using their dedicated application, Kies. The contacts imported well into the tablet, *including contact pictures*, which is what I am looking for. I didn't checked the messaging since the tablet was not a phone, but I suspect that it also works. Unfortunately the actual photos taken with Samsung phone cameras that are equipped also with xenon flash are of lower quality than those taken with Nokia 808 or Lumia 1020.

If you feel this way you should actually not be on the internet anyway.
No really. I'm on internet since 1995 when only meteorological clouds were in existence and I didin't encounter any problem browsing the internet then because of that. In 2004 the software that accompanied my Motorola E398 was able to do both address book sync and handle SMS messages just pure and simple, via cable or BT. Then my Nokia N73 and later Nokia N8 were able to do same things through Ovi/Nokia Suite, still directly, including contact pictures sync if on Windows Vista or later.
Today (2015 already) I've been told that things have evolved, so I can no longer exchange some trivial information between two devices located near to each other, but instead I have to use thousands of miles distances, to have an account somewhere, to be logged in, etc., only to transfer something between myself and myself, actually the same something as yesterday.
Frankly I'm glad to hear that this internet is not for me.
Without wanting this specifically (on the contrary), it appears that I am forced to consider also this company not (or no longer) compatible with me.

  • Is it possible to sync an iPad with more than one iPhoto Library?

I just backed up my iPhoto library to an external hard-drive to create space on my iMac hard-drive. I then decided to copy and import part of the old library back into the new as I am not finished working with some pictures. The order that they show up is really erratic. I think it would just be easier to be able to sync using files from both libraries. Is this possible and if so how?

  • Possible to sync ipod contacts with 2 computers but apps with only one?

For HD space and sync-speed reasons I'd like to NOT sync applications to my laptop and just do that for/with my desktop system. I'd still like to sync contacts and calendar events w/ both systems however. Is there a way to do this?
I unchecked the "sync applications" box in itunes on my laptop, but that just offers to delete all the apps on my ipod. I don't want to delete them, just have the laptop defer applications syncing to the desktop system where I have more space and I leave the ipod connected overnight for charging anyway.
I have a similar issue with music (and podcasts), but at least there's a manual maintenance mode for music.

normally you can only sync the ipod to one for pc at a time but theres some special programs that you can buy to allow syncing to other pcs
you'll just need to google it

  • Possible to sync multiple phones with multiple database?

Forgive me if this has been covered, if so please point me to the right thread...
Ok, I have two phones and one pda. I'd like to keep different database (and yet be able to selective choose data from one database to another). Is this possible?
The reason for this setup is that I have one USA phone and one Taiwan phone and one PDA (with less dialed contacts). Obiviously, when I'm in Taiwan, I don't need any USA contacts in my Taiwan phones. (I know phones nowadays have enough memory to fit 100s of contacts, but I don't wan to scroll through a bunch of contacts that I don't need.)
Any solution to this using iSync?
    Thanks!

It depends entirely upon your mobile handset. Generally speaking, you can choose to synchronize by Address Book group, and not synchronize your entire Address Book database with each device. This is certainly supported by iSync for Palm devices.
To determine the options for each handset and your PDA, select each one in iSync to drop down a configuration dialog specific to that device.

  • Possible to sync Zune 80 with Macbook Pro?

I went to an Apple store to buy an entry-level Macbook Pro today, and, luckily as it turns out, was unable to, for I was caught off guard by by an apparent weekend spending cap on my debit card that I had never known of. This is lucky, because, as soon as I got home, I, owning a second generation zune, out of curiosity searched for the Mac version of the Zune software. To my amazement, there isn't one. This is completely baffling to me, and I was wondering if there was any other way, preferably free, to get content onto my Zune from the Macbook Pro. Also, if there is a way, hopefully with the same method, if there is one, to move content from my Zune onto a Macbook, as the reason I'm buying this laptop is because my Windows desktop is recently bricked, and my Zune is now the only place I have my 70Gb of music.
I'd love to get an iPhone and circumvent this problem altogether, but it's simply out of my budget right now, plus it seems that there are a million rumors concerning a new model being released soon, so I wouldn't want to buy one and then have it be outdated several weeks later. I had been really looking forward to buying and learning my first mac, but this is a huge problem that has just completely blindsided me, and there's no way I can survive without my music, so if there's no way to connect my Zune 80 to a Macbook Pro, then I won't be able to buy one.
         Thanks for any help.

No way, I already researched it for someone else before.
    No Mac + Zune possible.
Your going to have to use someone elses PC and get the music off then do whatever to strip the DRM or other Zune issues transpose into universally accepted Mp3 format that iTunes can handle no problem.
1: You didn't backup up your files.
2: You got locked into a proprietary device/format.
    You got "Zuned".

  • Is it possible to sync CalDAV calendars with older iPods?

I am reposting from the "Older iPods" list, on which I did not get much feedback.
    https://discussions.apple.com/message/15171363#15171363
Basically, since I upgraded to the new MobileMe calendars, which use CalDAV instead of being local calendars, I can no longer view them on my iPod Mini. The .ics files that iTunes puts in the iPod's Calendars/ folder are empty.
So, is this a fixable problem on my side, or is this feature just non-existent?...
Thanks in advance for your insights

I have written the following Python 2.6 script that exports all CalDAV calendars to the iPod. I have only tested it with iCal 4.0.4 (1395.7) and an iPod mini (software version 1.4.1), on Mac OS 10.6.7.
