Is it possible to sync notes to anything else but an email account?
No, there is no way to do it at this time. I don't know what Apple is playing at in this respect.http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipodtouch.html

HT4191 it's possible to sync notes on iPhone 3G?
it's possible to sync notes on iPhone 3G? for exemple on gmail?
I believe it is not possible. Notice the HT4191 article you attached that deals with syncing notes says at least an iPhone 3GS is required.
If there's any hope of syncing to gmail, you would find it in Settings > Notes and try to set a gmail account there.
I don't think it's possible. -
I accidently disconnected to cord in the middle of updating software on my iphone4. it now has apple logo and blank loading line below. it will not do anything else. can't even switch off please help
Connect the iPhone to the compter you usually sync with
and use iTunes on that computer to do the restore. -
hi i have a iphone 5 and it is in recovery mode and it says i have to restore it before i can do anything else but when i try to restore it say the iphone cannot be restored it can not be found
please get back to me as soon as possible
~bananagirl16Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.

Is it possible to sync the iphone with my company's email server
Is it possible to sync the iphone with my company's email server (Novell Groupwise)? I have the option of getting a blackberry or iphone. I want the iphone, but I also want to be able to sync it with my work email since I am away from the office a lot. I know I need to contact the IT department, but I thought I would try here to see what experiences people had with this sistuation. Thanks.
Depends on what protocols they will allow (or can). If they open up POP or better yet IMAP access, then yes, sure. It is all about the protocols available to you (them). Though note, the iPhone checks on an interval where the Blackberry has emails pushed to it. So with iPhone, the min interval time is 15mins.

I just created an iCloud email and I want to use that email for my iTunes account as well. I need help switching the old apple ID because I do not remember anything associated with that email and I don't know the security questions or the login for that old email.
You cannot do that. The AppleID you used to create the iCloud account is an active primary email address. The email address you created with the iCloud account is also an active primary email address (all Apple domain email address automatically become AppleIDs as well). You cannot replace the primary email address on one active AppleID with the primary email address on another, active AppleID.
You can use your iCloud email/AppleID with iTunes, but it will be a separate account, so all your previous purchases remain tied to the other AppleID you have.
I don't understand your statement that you could not remeber your old AppleID password, as you would have had to use it to create the iCloud account in the first place (the first step of creating the iCloud account required you to login with your existing AppleID and password)? -
Hello Friends,
I've two iPod Nanos (4th gen - 8GB). I'm facing a severe problem with both of them. For both iPods, I tried to do this method Simultaneously press the top button + home (central) button. But of no use.
1. My first iPod is showing a white screen. I could not see anything. But I can listen to songs by blindly pressing the play button twice. The battery comes only for an hour.? How do I get the display and longer battery?
2. My second iPod is facing more severe problem. None of the buttons are working. When I connect it my PC it showing "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting". But it is not ejecting with all the usual methods. When I manually and physically disconnect it from the PC the same "CONNECTED- eject before disconnecting" is still showing till the battery goes off. After that if i press any button it is showing low battery signal. And when i re-connect it to the PC the same process is repeating. When I tied to restore it to the factory settings I'm getting "Error" report.
(I'm using windows 7)
Friends, Please help me with the above problems. It will be a great help.
Thank You.
R.SAMALASounds like some hardware issues, meaning you'll want to take or send the iPods in for service or repairs. You can choose to have Apple do an out of warranty exchange for the prices indicated in the link below or find another third party service perhaps even local to your area.

ipad keeps requesting outlook password, trying cancel but still in cycle - can not do anything else. NOTE - recently change email password on PC
Try a reboot:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.
Rebooting your iPad can solve a lot of problems. Once you do that, go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and make sure the correct, new password is entered in that account. -

I have the ESPN ScoreCenter app on my iPhone 4S and since I installed iOS7 I am no longer receiving alerts for my teams. I have not changed anything else, Notifications is on, all my team alerts are on.
Wow, just posting and it seems that there is a solution that is working for me...
What I've did is I turned off iTunes Match on my iPhone, then turned in on again. Now in my iTunes library on my mac I can get the duplicates to be matched or uploaded to iCloud with a right-click, add to iCloud. iTunes Match starts to check the songs and everything is done correctly. Pretty nice! -
My iPad began by demanding I sign into iCloud. (I had recently changed my Apple account password.) I entered the password and then iMessage demanded my password for the same account. It would not accept my password and it keeps popping up, not allowing anything else to operate on the iPad. How do I fix this?
Content and Apple IDs -
Content is forever tied to the Apple ID that bought it. Apple does not transfer content from one Apple ID to another. Apple does not merge Apple IDs. You will never be able to access your content bought with another Apple ID with a new Apple ID. -
I tried to open illustrator it said: subsystem fail catastrophically and I must reinstall or call customer support. So when I reinstalled it says: I can only install one Adobe product at a time. I am not installing anything else. It does not make sense.
Hi Gasbarro,
When trying to reinstall using the Cleaner Tool Jacob suggested, can you take a note of the location?
Error: "The licensing subsystem has failed catastrophically." when you start a Creative Suite 3.x application
Please try refer to the help doc and let us know if it helps.
Thanks,

I have a iPhone 5s fell into the water and damaged fingerprint sensor motion and lines of light appeared on the screen, but it still works and did not hurt anything else Can I replace it with a new phone
No. The warranty does not cover damage.
You can only get a replacement if you can talk Apple into selling you and out of warranty replacement.

My Notes (yellow notes app) disappeared from my iPod touch running iOS 6.1.3 and found out here they'd been "synced" to my email account. Sure enough there they were. As suggested, I went into settings for the email account on my iPod and removed "notes" as one of the things to track. I checked the settings for Notes and there is no option to make the iPod the place to keep things (apparently, this is an option on the iPhone version of Notes). Now my test note has stayed on the iPod. But how do I get the old notes that are sitting in an email account back to my iPod?
Also, I'm not sure who decided "sync" should mean "remove from one device and put it on the other device". This is not most people's definition of "sync". It isn't done with email syncing. When I send mail (yahoo or gmail), from either the iPod or some other device, the sent mail shows up on both devices, not on one or the other. Are you sure they are not there? Check your later pages. Syncing often reloads the apps out of sequence. Also check in iTunes under Apps that Sync Apps is checked.
