Is it possible to sync with Outlook and Entourage with one iPhone?

Hi,
I wonder if anyone knows whether it is possible to Sync my contacts and calenders from my Home Mac (using Entourage 2008) and the Windows PC at my office (with Outlook 2007) to the same iPhone without data from one source getting lost?

Yes, It is possible. You can merge contacts, calendars, and bookmarks between multiple computers.
When you sync the contacts and calendars to your iPhone from the new computer you'll see the option to Merge or Replace, just choose Merge.

I use Google Calendar Sync to sync my work Outlook calendar to a gmail account, then sync that to my iPhone. It works well for me for the past couple of years.
As far as mail itself, just ask your it folks for settings for remote access to your exchange account, and then set it up on the phone.
As far as working with Office docs, to be able to actually edit them and such, look in the app store for DocsToGo or QuickOffice - they both are good but each has it's pros and cons, so on balance it's down to mere preference i think.

Would like to sync Sharepoint 2010 task with Outlook and iPhone

I have a Sharepoint 2010 server - function as intranet server, and as a project webserver.
When I create a new project in SP, I also get a Task list. Very good. And I can also connect the project to Outlook. Very good that as well :)
I do have an Exchange 2010 server as well.
But... I also use a iPhone - where I have connected my mail, calender and task. This is working fine.
The problem is the task from Sharepoint project. When I try to add new task list, I just find the list where I have added e-mail accunts. Not the one from SharePoint.
Anyboy following? :)

Syncing contacts and calendar with outlook and gmail - use Exchange or not?

I need to sync my contacts and calendar between my iphone and Outlook and google on my laptop. Syncing via iTunes is fine as a backup but not as a constant process. I then saw that Gmail would permit an Exchange account to be used to allow immediate syncing so I installed an Exchange account on the iphone. It works but I now have doubled contacts. Is there a better way of doing this to avoid duplicate contacts? If I dedupe the contacts on the iphone do I risk then deleting contacts in Outlook on my PC? Alternatively if I delete the Exchange account on the iPhone is there a simple way of keeping calendars in sync on Iphone, Google and Outlook? (I just have two gmail accounts and do not have a Microsoft Exchange server)
Grateful for any useful advice on this issue!

FYI I eventually developed a work around that works better. I have a mac at home and a window pc at work. You can use plaxo to sync contacts between the two and the ipod syncs with the mac as advertised. Also as a bonus you don't have to deal with any issues, problems and pains with multiple itunes locations...

Your suggestion worked perfectly. I can't believe there is nothing in any of the instructions I have seen online at the Yahoo and Apple help sites about the making sure the right default account is checked. I don't think I was even aware there was a "default account" setting. Thank you so much.

I downloaded the iCloud from iTunes and now my Outlook no longer syncs with my iPhone. It worked perfectly before. Now when I make an entry in my phone it doesn't sync with my PC. This is so annoying, and has cost me dearly with missed appointments. I would like to disable it and go back to how it was but don't know how. Or fix it. I've read the posts and I'm so confused by the different responses that I am going crazy. Please someone just give me a simple solution to either fix this problem or to get rid of iCloud.

Thanks TeddyDo...this works for us to. We (my wife and I) each have an iPhone 4S that we sync with our outllook 2010 on our home PC. after a little bit of reconciliation they all sync real-time! OUTSTANDING
worth adding a couple of additional bits of info.
check out the CodeTwo website videos as they are really easy to follow (2 minutes) and the software does it all for you, barring a little bit on the intial configuration, which is why I thought I would type up what to look out for.
only works (supported) if you have Windows Vista or Windows 7
assuming you already have outlook installed, first install install iCloud
go to www.apple.com/icloud and set up the syncs (what you want to sync)
iCloud will have set up a iCloud Calendar in Outlook and you will see that it has probably moved all the data out of the default folder onto the iCloud folder so they are out of sync
install CodeTwo sync for iCloud http://www.codetwo.com/sync-for-icloud/ it cost $10, if you live in the EU it will stupidly ask you for your VAT number, if like me this is for personal use rather than a company it is a pain, but if you put your country as say USA and pay by paypal it works
if you have Norton 360 you will need to go to 'manage the firewall' and 'allow' CodeTwo (which is C2...) otherwise Norton wont allow it to sync.
configure CodeTwo by going to the settings button on the Outlook top bar/ribbon and select which folders you wish to sync and you probably want to go for two-way.
if you are viewing both the iCloud and default calendars you will see that they should start to sync, this may intially take 10 minutes or so as it is making sure they are identical - there is a manage conflicts calendar that is worth flicking through in case there is anything there.
you need to go throught the same process for the contacts (i have 1500 of them so it took10 mins) and then tasks, reminders, etc
they should all (PC, iCloud and iPhones)be synced, but your iPhone calendar will seem as if it has duplicated the lot...it hasn't it is just that it is displaying both the PC calendar and iCloud calendar and they are now identical. go to the iPhone Calendar and tick only the iCloud calendar and your duplicates disappear. contacts etc shouldnt need that attention as it doesnt show duplicates, although if like me you may have some old unreconciled conflicts (historically using iTunes to sync PC and iCloud - not CodeTwo's fault) to deal with, but I should have dealt with that before.
we have multiple PC/laptops at home and given this success we have been thinking about syncing a couple of PCs so we can both be clearing down our outlook emails and all our emails sync. I reinstalled microsoft office and, thus, outlook, and reinstalled mac OS X system and applications. While I managed to delete outlook contacts so that I can re-sync with my blackberry, the contacts at Mac Address Book were not deleted and still have over 340,000 entries. I do not mind deleting all contacts since I have back up, but I have not been able to delete them. Also, when I go at Address Book and try to delete or merge duplicated entries, the system takes forever and never ends because of such large amount of entries. Worse, when I do so I run out of RAM memory.
My Macbook pro is just 2 months old.
What should I do? Is there a way to delete my Mac Address Book without having the problem above?

Unfortunately, the iPhone is not designed to sync with Palm software. As stated in the minimum system requirements, the iPhone can sync with Outlook (2003, 2007 or Express) on a PC, or with iCal and Entourage on a Mac. If you do not want to use Outlook on the PC, you can sign up for a free Yahoo account and sync with Yahoo Address Book. Yahoo Address Book can be used to sync from PC or Mac. More information on the minimum system requirements for the iPhone can be found here:

TS1347 I had to get a new hard drive on my laptop PC. Now I am unable to sync my contacts and calendar from my iphone to the outlook software on my PC. Although they are backed up on icloud, I really want the information on my computer.

I cannot figure out how to sync my contacts and calendar from my iphone with my windows PC. The message during the itunes sync process is that information is being backed up to both the cloud and my PC. However the Outlook software remains blank. What can I do??

You do not export anything.
Instead, sync the content from Outlook to your device via iTunes.

Make sure you don't have any notes that have no content or subject or this can prevent syncing with Outlook. If you do, delete them.
If you don't, try unchecking "Mail,Contacts,Calendars & Tasks with Outlook" on the iCloud control panel for Windows, choose Delete at the prompt (the data will still be in iCloud), restart your PC, then go back and check this setting again. (Your iCloud data will reappear in Outlook after a brief delay as it redownloads.)
Then create a new note on one of your iOS devices and see if it appears in the Notes folder in Outlook mail after a few minutes.
