I want to get my pictures from one user screen to the other, without emailing. I have a whole folder of pictures, and it says it's too big to email. I would like to transfer them somehow from one user name over to the other username, but I don't know how to do that. Is it possible?

Are these two accounts on the same system?
If so there's no need to email - just copy the files on the disk.
You can create a folder in the shared space /Users/shared that is accessible to everyone. Just copy the pictures in there from the account that owns the pictures, then the other account can copy them out.

Besides the way provides by Oliver, you may also do it in this way.
Step 1. On your computer, open an Explorer window and navigate to the folder to choose the pictures to transfer from computer to iPhone. Select those you want, right-click on them and choose Copy.
Step 2. Navigate to the Pictures folder (My Pictures in Windows Vista). Find the Photo Stream folder which is created when you install the iCloud Control Panel, and double-click to view its contents. (Don't click on the Photo Stream shortcut in the Windows Explorer Favourites list as you can't get to the Uploads folder this way.)
Step 3. Open the Uploads folder within Photo Stream, right-click and Paste your copied photos into this folder.
Step 4. Your photos will appear in your Photo Stream (within the Photos app) on your iPhone shortly. The Photo Stream is ordered by the date on which the photos were taken, so they may not be easy to find if you already have the maximum of 1,000 pictures in your stream. However, you may find that Windows gives the pasted files today's date, in which case the photos will be at the end of your Photo Stream.

I am trying to transfer pictures from my Android Phone to my iPad 3. Both devices "found" each other, but when I try my iPad says to make sure my phone is turned on and visible....and it is. Am I doing something wrong? In my settings on both devices, it shows both of the devices.

According to the developer's web site, Bumb doesn't work via Bluetooth (not unless there's more than one app called "Bump") and it's not a direct device-to-device transfer. It loads the content up to the developer's web site and then down to the receiving device and hence requires an Internet connection, either through WiFi or a cell service. It still might be an option for Jan, but if so then there would be others such as Dropbox that might also work, or just transferring through a computer.

You will back everything up on iTunes. Then when you get your new phone, you will restore that backup to the new phone.

How much ever i search the net i havent found an answer for this problem. I seem to fall in to a vicious cycle of coming back to square one. Please help me with the following question please.
1). I am using ipad with camera connection kit for transferring pictures to my ipad.
2) i have dropbox and MSN Onedrive for storing pictures.
3) both dropbox and onedrive sync pictures only from camera roll ignoring the other pictures which are vital too.
4) all the wifi transfer photosync and a core or free aps available in the appstore ddint solve my problem.
Is there a way to transfer the pics to camera roll without going through a tedious process? Why cant there be a simpler solution?
Only when i transferthe pics to camera roll that i can sync them wi either dropbox or onedrive.

While using Camera Connection Kit to transfer pictures from Memory Card to Ipad the pictures in the memory card gets saved to a separate folder called "Imported Pictures" instead of saving to Camera Roll of Ipad which is the default sync folder for dropbox and onedrive. Its not possible to move the imported album pictures to Camera Roll that easily or very simply. The process is complicated or requires a paid application. My question is whether the pics can be directly saved to camera roll or is there a way to move at a bulk all the pics from imported album to camera roll so that the sync with dropbox and onedrive is easier and simpler.

I am using an iMac macintel, and wish to transfer pictures back to my camera. How do I do this? Is it possible. I've done it before in an earlier version of iPhoto.

Then the same way you did before?
Does your Camera show on the desktop? If son, export the pics from iPhoto (File -> Export) and then drag them to the icon for your camera.
If you have a Canon camera, or some Kodaks, then you'll need to get a USB card reader, pop the camera card into it and then it will show on the desktop.

Does anyone know if it is possible to transfer my custom web galleries from PS CS3 to Adobe Bridge CS5?

Collections are not a physical directory. It is kind of like a spreadsheet that tells Bridge where to find the pictures and display them, so you can't just move the folder.
Smart collections are a little easier to transfer, but do not think CS3 had those.
Not an expert here but believe you would first have to have the same computer and HD so that all the picture loacations are the same.
Then go to User/App Data/Roaming/Adobe/Bridge/Collections and copy file from CS3 and insert into same spot for CS5.
Maybe someone that have done this will jump in and prove me wrong.

If your Pictures are ,jpg and your video is from utube if you have a cable that plugs in you should be able to transfer them. I am not sure of this but it does make sence to be able to do this function. I am not sure if it is possible using an Android Phone. Like many of us on here you may have to give it a try and see if it works.
Unless someone else is familiar with doing this proccess and can give Step by Step instructions you will have to just give it a try.

Is it possible to load pictures directly from your computer to your ipad. When I loaded the camera pictures onto the computer, re ordered them and fixed some, I then tried to move them to the ipad. It does not allow me to paste the copied file.

Is it possible to load pictures from a computer to your ipad. When modified my camera pictures and reordered them, I was unable to load them to the ipad. I could copy but not paste. If I reinstalled them on the memory card, the ipad did not recognize them.

The iPad can be pretty picky.
One way, if you sync your iPad to your computer, is to use iTunes to 'sync' the photos onto the iPad. Of course that has the downside of if you sync them on you have to use iTunes to sync them off.
Or you can download the iCloud control panel and use photostream to put the photos onto your iPad. WHen you install the iCloud panel and enable photo stream it'll put a folder on your computer. Import photos into that folder and they'll go onto your iPad (they do transfer via wifi so it's not exactly an instant thing, might take a few minutes depending on your network and file size.
Or, if you have a few, you can e-mail them to yourself, open that mail on your ipad and save them from there.
Or, to use the camera kit, you can import htem onto your iPad, but the camera connection kit requires a very specific naming protocol. There must be a folder named DCIM on your memory card, and then all files on that card must be in that folder and have a name of 8 characters. If you follow the naming convention, once you plug the memory card in the iPad will see it and allow you to import the photos.
there are also third party photo apps I just dont' have any to recommend.
One more thing to bear in mind, even if you rename the files, the ipad persists in organizing the photos by date, so I'd experiment and make sure it doesn't totally rearrange your files before you spend a lot of time on it. (third party apps may respect the name of the photo and organize it that way rather than by date first, then name)

I was just wondering if there is any way to transfer pictures that were uploaded on one computer with photoshop elements 7.0 using windows vista and then upload them to my new computer that I already downloaded 8.0 using windows xp home editon.
My old computer was stolen and I would like to recover my pictures if possible.

All upper versions of PSe are capable of handling backups or other catalogs of older versions. So just take backup of your PSE7 catalogs and restore them into PSE8.. after successful restore you should able to get exact catalog in PSE8...

Hi - was searching for something else when I came across this post. This is possible, used to do it myself prior to buying my new iMac. Just be sure to move the entire "iTunes Library" folder out as is. The next time you open iTunes a pop up should appear asking you to find/pick your library (just browse to find it for the system). The same principle will work with iPhoto. Alternatively, I believe if you hold the COMMAND key when selecting the application on the dock it will open a window asking you to select the library you want to open. This way comes in handy when you want to keep two separate libraries (i.e. for really old pictures).

I was looking at the sd card readers for iPhone and I am not sure if they are going to work like I thought. Can you use it to transfer pictures from the phone to thee card and then to either a computer or a photo kiosk? If so, does anyone know of a good one under $20? This is for an iPhone 4s. If you have a Windows PC, when you connect your iPhone to it, the iPhone should appear in Windows Explorer and My Computer as a camera. You can copy the photos to your PC using either of the PC programs. I mention this method because you seem to want to be able to move your photos as inexpensively as possible.
I have never used an SD card reader with the iPhone so, Ill leave that question to others that have experience with this setup.
