Is it possible to uninstall IE 11 from Windows Server 2012 R2 and replace it with the latest version of IE 10? We have a remote desktop farm setup with 2012 R2 servers and we are publishing some web links that only work with IE10. As a result, we need to
downgrade the remote desktop servers to IE10. I have a feeling that this isn't possible, but if I could get a definitive answer, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!

Once I updated to the latest version of Premiere 2014.2 I started experiencing a glitch when my cuts would slip a frame or two. At first it was randomly. Then I had footage I was using that was an .avi file that I converted to .m4v using vlc and now in my Premiere project, are having the greatest difficulty keeping my original cut that I create in my source monitor. When I bring it into my timeline, the new frames are added. When I double click the clip into my source monitor, I see that my original cuts remain, not shifted. Looking back in my timeline, unwanted frames are still there. I have to bring it into my source monitor to guess where the right frame would be to compensate for this. It happens more often with the converted files but still happens to .mp4s as well. I am using a Mac Pro 15-in from Early 2011. Thanks for the advice in advance!
I downloaded and installed the latest iTunes 11.2.1 (1) update yesterday. It appears to have corrected this issue to a large extent: plugging in an iThing to sync no longer seems to cause explosive growth in memory footprint. leaks reports a much slower growth in dead memory:
leaks -nocontext -nostacks iTunes | grep total
Process 27307: 353 leaks for 726488 total leaked bytes.
20 minutes later:
leaks -nocontext -nostacks iTunes | grep total
Process 27307: 364 leaks for 1256056 total leaked bytes.
20 minutes later, after DLing updated apps and doing another sync:
leaks -nocontext -nostacks iTunes | grep total
Process 27307: 364 leaks for 1256056 total leaked bytes.
Memory allocation started at 70Mb, grew to 200Mb, and appears to have stabilized there.
I'm going to keep an eye on it overnight, but it looks as if this may not be a complete system killer as it was before, at least in my case. In any case, I can highly recommend this latest iTunes update for anyone else experiencing this specific issue. Updating bug 16772016 with this new information. -

Yes it is possible but database size should not be greater than 10 G as max databse size supported for Express 2012 is 10 G

You can try this:
1. Go to the iTunes Store or App Store
2. Scroll down, there you will see Apple ID: "your email" (below Redeem and Send Gift)
3. Tap on that button
4. Tap on Sign Out
Now you should be able to use another Apple ID.

I'm trying to migrate from mobileMe to iCloud but I have Snow Leopard (the latest version). It looks like Lion is no longer available because Mountain Lion comes out next month (July). The problem is mobileMe ends on June 30th. How can I migrate?
My iphone and my ipad are compatible but when I try to go to icloud on my phone it says to do it on my computer.
I would like to have my calendar, contacts, etc.. all sync like they do now. Is there a way to upgrade before June 30th? If not, will the gap be an issue or will I just be able to buy mountain lion and sync everything?

Thank you!You can buy Lion in the App Store now, but move to iCloud now. If you wait to Mountain Lion, you will only have Mail in Snow Leopard, so you will lose syncing unless you use Lion or Mountain Lion. It's up to you

i got new iphone and when i connect it to my pc, it lost all my current data and replaced it with the backup on my computer, which is from april. so i have lost all my calendar information and schedule. does anyone know how i can reverse this and get my information back?
Every backup replaces the old one, so, unless you included the backup folder in your computer backup routine, you can't get back your calendar info.
The only time iTunes will not replace a backup is, when you use it to restore from, this one will stay in the backup list in iTunes.

I'm creating a book from an album in iPhoto. I have downloaded the latest version of iPhoto. When I choose a book, i.e. wirebound, 19-20 page book, it shows a 42 page book when I am populating the pictures in the book I've selected. Is that because I have more pictures in the album?
In any case, I can't seem to manipulate/choose the number of pages I want. How can I stick with the 20 page book I want?
Thanks.You can not select the "number of pages" - you select the photos and the page layours and the number of pages comes form that - with Autoflow iPhoto uses random page layouts so the number of pages is rando=m
You can change layouts to include more photos, move photos to the pages with no empty photos frames and then delete the pages at the end after the photos are used elsewhere

i have upgraded ipad with the latest version of ios. However, while restoring backup from itunes to ipad, a password is being asked. i do not have password, how to go about?

1. Erase all contents and settings (Settings>General>Reset>Erase all content and settings)

I have an IPAD 3 and recently updated the IOS software with the latest version and now video from some sites will not display where it did prior to the update. Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. How do I download only selected audiobooks from iTunes to my iPod.? I don't want to download the whole library..i have an iPod classic and Mac laptop with the latest ios.
If you check songs, simply sync the entire library.
But I highly recommend (and it is far simpler) to create a playlist (or multiple playlists) and select only that playlist to sync.
Leave everything checked.
Then simply add/remove from these playlists and sync away. -
Unable to Connect to SQL 2000 Instance from Windows Server 2012 environment
We have a windows server (TEST) 2012 environment , where our test SQL Server 2012 instance is hosted.
We have a different (DEV) Server (windows 2000) where a SQL Server 2000 instance is present.
When I RDP to our Windows Server 2012 box, I cannot connect to the SQL 2000 server instance from SQL Management Studio. (whereas I can connect to
the same server from my local machine which has windows 7 and SQL 2012 installed).
This is the error i see -
"A transport-level error has occurred when receiving results from the server. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - The specified network name
is no longer available.) (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)"
When run from SQL Agent Service from TEST (A Job which tries to connect to that SQL 2000 instance to read some data using SSIS) , we get the following
error -
An OLE DB record is available. Source: "Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server" Hresult: 0x80004005 Description: "[DBNETLIB][ConnectionRead
(recv()).]General network error. Check your network documentation.".
The same SSIS package runs successfully from my local machine.

Its just that we have legacy systems here in our company, who, for some reason haven't upgraded their older infrastructure, whereas they have set up new Windows 2012/SQL 2012 environments for the newer sql instances where they want to transition to !
Not sure what the solution is honestly. It is affecting our timelines now. The infrastructure team needs to take a decision now, as to what to do.
I do have to add, we were able to connect to these "older" servers from our Windows 7 client machines which have SQL 2012 - both from SQL management studio & SSIS (using OLE-DB Provider for SQL Server). -

I have garage band on my I pad and from what I can tell I have done everything right with the latest updates and icloud enabled on the i pad and app. A cloud is in the upper right corner of the song but when I look on my icloud drive on a internet browser on my PC it is not there. Any reason why?
