Since I downloaded the last update for Firefox, it freezes and I have to force quit.
Once I force quit, everything works fine until I open Firefox again.
I'm not sure if this has anything to do with it, since it also freezes when I try to open other sites, but I also switched to the new Yahoo mail in the last couple of weeks.I am still having the same problem. There have been two Firefox updates since my post, but there is no change.

7.8 - The last update for current windows phones?
As WP8 has been announced, will 7.8 be the last update for the current generation of windows phone?
It is upsetting because it hasn't even been a year since I bought my Sabre and now it won't be developed anymore?
**bleep** the WP8 start screen!It has been mentioned that it will have the start screen of WP8. It seems like a consolation for not giving the WP8 update. I understand that the hardware won't support WP8 but it is also natural that their focus will shift to WP8 and which means that there won't be further updates for the current gen.
I'm not upset over something a petty thing like mobile phone but it is sad that the continuous exciting development of WP7 will now stop. It hasn't even been a year since I bought this phone and when I bought this phone, I expected it to be one of nokia's leading handsets competing with androids and iOS. That is why I spent my money while compromising many basic features which I expected to get in further updates.
Nokia is simply asking to BUY new WP8 phones and those who have bought WP7 will obviously feel cheated. -
Since my last update for Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 I have been unable to print to either my HP or Lexmark printers! Everything is connected but I get an "idle" message in the queue. I have "Reset printer system" and re-added these printers. No luck. Help?

It isn't the fw in Network you want o use or look at, that's for something completely different.
My first suspect is the Power Adapter on the LaCie has gone.

If your Firewire or USB isn't recognizing any device. A solution which has worked for some whose hard drive became invisible in 10.4 was simply to follow these four steps to reset the Firewire/USB bus:
1. Shut the machine down.
2. UNPLUG the power lead to the computer and any firewire/USB drive or devices.
3. leave it for 10 minutes.
4. Connect back up and reboot.

I will add.... Im not seeing this behavour here in 10.0.7 and 10.9.3... so i suspect something else is going on too with your system... but as to what, I cannot say.

After installing the new update for Firefox 3.6, no matter what I do, I cannot connect to the internet using Firefox. I can get on the internet using my other browsers (Google Chrome and Internet Explorer), so Firefox is the only one that doesn't work. I have already checked my firewall and have added and removed Firefox from my firewall to no avail. I've also already uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, but so far it hasn't helped.
I have already tried removing firefox from my firewall. Even when I do that, my firewall doesn't detect firefox and prompt me to add it. And when I manually add it, it still doesn't work anyways. I've already tried the link as well, but it has been unhelpful. :/
I'm not sure if it matters, but a few weeks before this, I did download Microsoft Security Essentials. -

iMac is connected via wirelss to printer/scanner. All was working OK until update.Assuming that the HP software is up-to-date, but still not working, have you tried Image Capture in the Applications folder. Does that work?

I am running OS X version 10.7.5 on a Macbook Air. I read in one thread where someone had an update that was higher than 10.7.5 but when I ask for updates, none are available. Is this the last update for OS X?
Niel, thanks for your response. I have been very wary of downloading Mavericks on this machine. I don't feel it has the power to run it and I'm afraid it was slow it down terribly. It was bought in late 2008. It's fine for my purposes at this time…just holding on until I buy a new one. I have the same problem others have with autofill not working, so I was trying to see if an update would help that situation. Grace

If I click the Next button it says Connecting to the update server for Downloading Firefox. I am connected to the internet. It just keeps displaying the same msg but nothing seems to be happening. I tried clicking the Hide button and now I can't get back to it. What is this about?
There is a security update for Firefox (Firefox 10.0.2) which you should apply. Unfortunately, it looks as if the updater on your Firefox is messing up somehow.
The easiest way to work around this and get you secure is to go to [http://www.getfirefox.com www.getfirefox.com], and download the latest version of Firefox there. After it downloads, go ahead and run the installer over your current Firefox. None of your settings will be changed, but it will apply the security fix, and you will be all good to go! -
I have been trying to uninstall several extensions for firefox. I'm told by the Add-Ons window that these extensions will be uninstalled when I restart firefox, but they come back every time I restart. I've tried clearing the extensions cache from my firefox profile and it does not work. Following the steps in all of the active questions regarding this issue among other users have yielded no results. Nothing currently on the help site (which I've combed through for the last three hours) has helped.
Most of the extensions I'm now trying to uninstall are old ones that stopped functioning/being compatible with one of the more recent updates of firefox. The rest are toolbars I've never used because they're unsightly and clutter up my screen

I'm using Mac OS X version 10.6.6. The message strongly recommends that I apply this update for Firefox as soon as possible but when I click Update Firefox, it seems to try and update but never really gets started.

Since the last update of Firefox I’ve a real problem. While Firefox is running or in use my Laptop total freezes. I was working a Word document and my laptop stops cold. The resource tool stops and nothing works. I have to power off my laptop to get around this. This has occurs numerous time and started after the last update to Firefox. I did install Skpe recently. Please help me it is very annoyinguninstalled firefox ....deleted all files still remaining under mozilla firefox directory in program files ... to avoid having to reprogram all my settings, reisntall all addons as well .. I did not remove anything from mozilla firefox that is stored in either appdata or under the windows users directory (if any)
... the as suggested reinstalled the latest version of the firefox browser using the link you provided in the email ..; tested and several issues still remain present and unresolved ....
so please this is urgent or I will have to jump browsers and start using chrome .. because we work 14 hours a day 6 (sometimes 7) days a week, to get ready for the launch of our newest venture and we cannot lose that much days on browser related issues ... so please instead of putting me through week long step process .. of do this .. do that .. can you please actually look into the issue from your end .. I use firefox for so many, many years thta I deserve this kind of support .. thnx Robert
