I was pressganged into installing sync by the FFox website, when I was using my laptop. After reading about what sync does, it seemed obvious that I should have installed it on my main computer, my desktop, so that the desktop's setting would be synced onto the laptop. Hence my question.
Not a problem with FFox, rather than one of my own creation. How do I fix it?
The data fields below 'This happened...' etc don't apply, regardless of what I had to put into them to advance the process.I think its the best solution to write tags and all in photographs.... and get them back on import...

I installed lion on my MB '08. Since then, the machine stocks form time to time. sometimes three or four times a day. Due Lion is an app as well I would like to uninstall it to try how the machine works. How can I uninstall Lion from my MacBook '08 ?

My MacBook Pro came with Lion pre-installed so I can't re-download it from the app store. Is it possible to get the installESD.dmg file and how can I get it if I can't re-download Lion in Apple Store option?
FYI Mac OS X is not designed to be installed on additional Macs, unless you purchased it from the App Store, in which case you can make as many copies as you wish and install it on as many Macs as you own.

My MacBook Pro hard drive crashed a little while ago and has been replaced. Is it possible to take tunes from iPod Classic and transfer all of them back to iTunes on computer? Is this just for purchased tunes or can I do it for ones that have been burned from CD's as well? Thanks for any help!

Is there a way to install Mountain Lion from my laptop to my MacPro Tower without a disc?
I erased my drive on my mac thinking I could migrate my stuff from my Mac Mini to my Mac Pro Tower. The mac mini won't let me migrate it. The drives aren't being recognized in Migration Assistant (while being hooked up via firewire 800). I was wondering if I can download Mountain Lion on my laptop and somehow install it on my tower without a disc. If this sounds complicated, I basically need to install an operating system on my MacPro Tower. I was trying to do it without going out to the Mac store and buying Lion. Anyone out there know how to do this? Thanks in advance.
Download Recovery disk Assistant and use to create a bootable USB installer. You will obviously need a USB flash drive to perform this.

Is i possible to import photos from a disk and retain the same order they appear on the disk? When I import them, the come out in random order.
When first imported the photos will be sorted in the Event chronologically. On the disk they well be sorted by the Finder and that's usually alphanumerically by file name. So select the photos in the event and type Commnad+N. That will create a new album at the left with the photos in it. Then go to the View ➙ Sort Photo menu and select "By Title". That should give you the same order as you view the photos on the disk via the Finder.

I have Lion on my laptop and I want to back up my calendar TO my iphone. Not the reverse. iCloud only goes from iphone to iCloud to mac not the other way. Also, why doesn't "sync" mean update most recent changes across all devices? I thought that was the point of iCloud. Any suggestions since iCloud doesn't seem to work?
It's a work computer so I wanted to save them to my iTunes so I can access from another computer. Should I go to a home computer and just Import for best results? If so how do I do this? Also, why would I be synched with another library and how do I find out what this is? Very new/green user here

The Mountain Lion download is more than 4 gigabytes. You should try hard to find a much better, faster, more robust connection. -

Licenses are platform specific, so a Windows version will not install/activate on a Mac. Platform swaps are only supported for the most recent release (CS6). The only way you might be able to do that is to have a Windows emulator installed on the Mac so that you have the required environment.
