Is it possible to uninstall SHC_CONT+DMIS / SLT 2.0 ?

Hi,
I have an SAP Incident opened for SLT 2.0 uninstallation possibilities.  I know the SAP Notes say that these ABAP Add-ons cannot be deinstalled.
Would anyone from SAP/SDN bloggers be able to assist me on the same ?
Let me know your response and if possible I can call someone at SAP to discuss the issue.
The case is as follows in brief : -
We installed DMIS+SHC_CONT (SLT 2.0) Add-ons in our Solman 7.1 System during the SPS Upgrade to SPS10 in November 2013.
SAP says in the incident we have no SAP License to install SHC_CONT.
Now when upgrading our Solman to SPS 12 from SPS10; MOPZ Queue processing fails that SHC_CONT packages cannot be downloaded because we are not licensed for SLT 2.0 in our OSS ID License Contracts.
So I am wondering why would SAP let us install SLT 2.0 in first place during SPS10 Upgrade for the products we are not licensed for ? and later we encounter this issue during SPS12 Upgrade ?
Can SAP / SDN Geeks let us know how do we uninstall these SHC_CONT Add-On so as to proceed with SPS12 Upgrade on our Solman Production System ??
Thanks a lot for your valuable response.

Sanjay Sahita

My patching process failed... The critical update
patch released by Oracle last week i.e. (10.2.0.3)
Patch set 2 for Oracle 10g Release 2 is getting stuck
up midway at around 79 %. It does'nt move
thereafter... hence i had to abandon the patching
process.Did you install a CPU patch set or the 10.2.0.3 update? It sounds like you have installed the Update, if so look at the the release notes for the patch at the section Removing the Patch Set software, to see if that helps. Notice that the section assumes you backed up the database/installation before installing the patch as directed in the Pre-Installation tasks.

  • I GIVE UP!  Is it possible to uninstall Leopard and go back to Tiger?

I am ready to give up for now. Is it possible to uninstall and go back to Tiger?

If you were wise you would consider other options just besides getting rid of Leopard and throwing it away. First, you could wait until Apple releases OS 10.5.1, then install and update to it. This might help take care of some problems. You could dual boot OS 10.4.10 and 10.5 as long as you have the OS 10.4 full install Disk and the OS 10.5 full install disk. I personally will wait until at least Christmas time before I install Leopard. New OS's are always full of bugs. On the Microsoft side, I've read where Windows Vista is still having major problems and is taking a long time to become widely used. These problems take time to fix. When Windows XP came out nobody would upgrade to it because of all it's bugs, now Windows XP is considered the standard on PCs. Mac OS 10.4 was also full of bugs at first, but now we talk about how rock solid it is. Simply give Apple time to fix these problems.

  • Possible to uninstall leopard

    Hello,
is it possible to uninstall leopard and use it on another computer?
    thnx

"Uninstalling Leopard" is called "Re-installing Tiger."
And yes, you can install it on another computer. The license agreement allows for install on one machine at a time.

Is it possible to uninstall OS X Yosemite?  I recently installed it on my older iMac and now my computer runs at about half the speed it did previously.  Before the installation, it was just as fast as the day I purchased it.

MichelPM is correct however wouldn't you rather trouble shoot the issue to see if you can get your performance back?

Is it possible to uninstall IE 11 from Windows Server 2012 R2 and replace it with the latest version of IE 10? We have a remote desktop farm setup with 2012 R2 servers and we are publishing some web links that only work with IE10. As a result, we need to
downgrade the remote desktop servers to IE10. I have a feeling that this isn't possible, but if I could get a definitive answer, I would greatly appreciate it, thank you!

    Hi,
    Agreed with DonPick.
Internet Explorer 11 is preinstalled with Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2.

  • Is it possible to uninstall OSX?

I recently had to install Leopard on an external hard drive so I could boot my Mac and fix a problem with my internal hard drive - mission accomplished.
Now my problem is that I really don't want to keep OSX on the external drive - but there is other data on the external drive that I do want to keep and of course I have nowhere else to store this data at the moment. Thus reformatting the drive is not an option.
So, is it possible to uninstall OSX from my external drive or is reformatting the drive the only way to get rid of OSX?

You can dump the /System directory, but there are a bunch of invisible directories on the root that will still be taking up a good deal of space on your machine. /var, /usr, the mach files etc. are just a few. There is no OS uninstaller that I know of, Apple doesn't have anything built into their install disc other than options for wiping or reformatting a hard drive.

  • Is it possible to "uninstall" the Technical Preview?

Simple as that, is it possible to uninstall the technical preview and go back to the previous setting?

    As per the FAQ
Is there a problem you are needing help with?
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/preview-faq#faq=tab0
If you want to go back to your previous operating system
You'll need to reinstall your version of Windows from the recovery or installation media that came with your PC (typically DVD media). If you don't have recovery media:
For Windows 7 or Windows Vista: Before you update, you might be able to create recovery media from a recovery partition on your PC using software provided by your PC manufacturer. Check the support section of your PC manufacturer's
    website for more info.
For Windows 8.1 or Windows 8: You might be able to create a USB recovery drive. For more info, seehttp://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

  • TS1717 Is it possible to uninstall & reinstall iTunes and not have to redo all of my playlists etc.?

Is it possible to uninstall & reinstall iTunes and not have to redo all of my playlists etc.?
I updated iTunes and the installation failed and now I cannot open iTunes.  The fix is to unistall and reinstall iTunes but I don't want to have to redo all of my playlists and things.

Do not worry all your Data including Playlist, etc. will remain as it is.
    Do the following:
Uninstall from Windows the following five programs: iTunes, Apple Software Update, Apple Mobile Device Support, Bonjour and Apple Application Support. You do this from an applet in Control Panel called Programs & Features (in Windows 8, 7, or Vista) or Add or Remove Programs (in Windows XP).
Download the latest version of iTunes from Apple and note the location you're saving it to so you can find it once it's done.
Run the iTunes installation as an administrator, just Right click iTunes installer and Run as Administrator.
Note : If you are unable to Remove Apple Mobile Device Support you can skip that.

Best to contact the program's author.  Some uninstaller programs exist independent of original software, but must be installed before you install the other software.
Keeping a clone backup of a base operating system is wise before installing anything.  That way, you can eliminate programs that you have installed just by restoring the base operating system.

  • Is it possible to uninstall the latest kitkat update ("improvement")?  If not, how can I fix the problems it has created?

The latest kit kat "improvements" have made using my phone much more frustrating.  How can one roll back this operating system update to the previous version?  If it is not possible to roll it back, how do I fix the following issues?
    1) The battery timing has been greatly diminished.
    2) Gmail isn't syncing properly.   At least 7 times since the update, upon opening gmail, I see lists of messages that are sometimes over a year old, and not my current ones.
    3)  The sound slider bar on the open screen has disappeared.  It now takes 4 steps in order to get into settings, and temporarily turn off the sound.  That is ridiculous when entering a meeting.  Not to mention that you have to repeat those steps upon the meeting's end.
    4)  Searching for a particular contact in people has become more complicated--much easier to select "m" when looking for Mary's info than to have to scroll through the very JITTERY and  way too touch sensitive sidebar all the way to the "M's" to even begin to search through the M's.  This is way too unwieldy.
    5) Emoticon symbol has replaced the symbol to move to the next line in text messaging keyboard.   I am not interested in childlike emoticons.  I am interested in writing a coherent professional message with appropriate spacing.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

You cannot uninstall Kit Kat from your phone. BTW what kind of phone do you have??
