supports the PCI-1200 specifically or not?

Yes, you can. According to the manual, the DAQ Signal Accessory is compatible with Lab / 1200 series devices -- this includes the PCI-1200 card.

Hi Venkat,
If a report is created over a DSO, it pulls data from the active table of a DSO. So as suggested in all the posts above it is not possiable to report on the DSO without activating it.
Activation of DSO only allows to generate SID's to link transaction data and master data, SID's could also be generated at the time of reporting (When the report fetches data from BI server, but for the SID generation data is needed in active table). Also activation checks the correctness of data etc.
Could you please let know why you want to report on the unactive request, is it having some problem with activation?

Getting the character count for a paragraph is trivial:

I wanted an extended desktop using 2 monitors.
I am using a Dell Ultrasharp ( has 1 VGA and 1 DVI-D) and a LG W2286 (has 2 HDMI, 1 DVI-D and 1 VGA)
I ran into a similar issue where initially the mac would not detect the 2 displays and I thought I would share my solution. I have a Mac Mini 10.8.2 i7 Late 2012.
I bought a "Cable Matters" brand Mini Display Port | Thunderbolt to DVI Male Cable to have dual monitors.
I am also using the included in the box HDMI to DVI-D Adapter from Apple.
Initial configuration was:
Mini-Display (Thunderbolt connector) to DVI connected to the LG DVI-D input.
Apple HDMI to DVI Dongle connected to the Dell DVI-D input.
What happened was that my desktop was on the LG clear as day but OSX did not see the dell monitor.
I called apple support and they could not figure out why the mini cant see the dell monitor. I think I discovered that the mac mini could not support 2 dvi monitors.
I switched the monitor connections.
The connections that works:
HDMI out to HDMI in on the LG using a standard HDMI cable.
Display port | Thunderport to DVI-D on the Dell's DVI-D in.

Since the bandwidth of the PCI-5112 is only 100MHz, the only frequency bands that you would be able to sample are the HF (3 to 30MHz) and lower end of the VHF (30 to 300MHz) bands. To get a good representation of the signal, it is recommended to sample at 10 times the frequency. Taking this into account, sampling a signal greater than 10MHz may not return an ideal representation of the radio signal. What would be best for your application is one of our RF Signal Analyzers such as the PXI-5661 or PXI-5660. More information about these can be found here. These products are only available in the PXI platform, but they provide a downconverter and digitizer so that you can downconvert the RF signal to a frequency range that can be analyzed.

iam using one accelerometer to get the signal from transaxle gear box. This accelerometer signal iam passing to charge amplifier card to get 0-10v signal. This signal iam passing to PCI6250 ai- 0 channel and encoder is connected with motor is passing to ai-1channel for analog tacho. iam using NI example program (Order power spectrum - analog tacho. VI).
sampling rate is 1000 S/s and no. of samples 1000 for acquiring data. But i cant able to get speed and order magnitude value proberly. Encoder PPR -1000. Can u help me....

How do I use AO update in the Route signal.vi

My goal is to create a waveform (to buffer it) and output it using the analog card (PCI-6713) N times and with the frequency F. Apperanlty this is done using a (actually 2) digital counter(s) on the PCI-6602 card.
This is done using route signal.vi using "AO update". However I have not managed to get it working. I only get error -10341. So my questions are how do I do it? More specificly how do I use AO update in the Route singal.vi Do I need to conect the cards in any perticular way (cabels or so)? Also do you have more information about how the vi route signal works (the help file does not help me much)?

I'm using labview 6.0 as developpement platform, and using the PCI-6601, PCI-67
13 and a PCI-7344 cards. Since the program is quite large I will only send a portion of it, the pulseGen is supposed to generate the waveform (loaded as a text file, also submitted) the digital output used is in case 1 (in pulseGen) the analog output is in case 3. The MissingWaveform.vi is just to ensure that a waveform is supplied to the pulseGen.vi

Cabling and Interfacing between Boards: You have capability for direct simultaneous connection between 6713 and 6602 (also 6601) via the RTSI bus, but you need to get a cable to connect between the boards. You can connect between the boards using the I/O pins of their respective signal conditioning hardware. These connections are slower. There are also PFI (Programmable Function Interfaces) connections that are set within the VI's.
All that said, it is not obvious why you want to use the RTSI. You can use the PCI-6713 to generate AO. Presumably you have some signal conditioning accessory; which ever pin of that accessory the AO appears on, you wire it over to the SC accessory for the 6601 and the appropriate pin for the counter gate or
source you want to use.
Suggestions: Don't try to work in the context of your big VI for now. Get the AO bit and the counting bit to work together by themselves. Then shoe-horn them into the big VI. Also, consider a call to the NI help line. They are very good. 800.433.3488 (800IEEE488)
In case you hadn't noticed the DAQ cards and Counter/Timer cards come in different flavors and there are specific example VI's to suit. 6602 uses NI-TIO chip, but PCI-671X are DAQ-STC. Again the NI help people are good at catching this kind of stuff.
Your question is rather large and hard to manage. Perhaps if you break it down into small chunks the advise will be more free flowing.

Here is our little problem...
We have the last generation of macpro's and in our machine, we have installed an Arecca card as long as a decklink card. Problem is that sometimes when we boot the machine, the pci will stick to 2x for the arecca card, wich makes the data transfers a lot longer.
We do transfer some 2-5TB data often so it's kind of annoying when it sticks to 2x...
On the previous (first?) generation of macpro, we could specify the speed of each pci slot, but with the newer macpro's it's not possible anymore... Anyone know a way to constantly have the areca set to 8x?

If this is an Apple Mac Pro January 2008 model the PCI-Express slots are fixed. The Mac Pro (January 2008) PCI Express bus bandwidth is no longer user configured. Slots one (video card) and two are configured as PCI Express 2.0 sixteen-lane PCIe slots. PCI Express slots 3 and 4 each provide PCIe revision 1, four-lane bandwidth.
If you are using slot 4 with an Apple Mac Pro January 2008 the PCIe bus is 4x. It will not provide a 2x bus. How are you measuring the speed of the PCIe bus bandwidth?
I have never seen this issue with my Areca ARC-1221x, ARC-1680x or ARC-1680ix-12 card. My guess is that you have an old driver and or firmware installed. If would be helpful to know the following:
1. The model of Mac Pro.
2. The model of Areca card.
3. The firmware installed on the card.
4. The driver version installed.
5. The version of Mac OS X installed.

I am trying to use a jpg image as the "base" of a mapviewer. After Insert the image, I create a "georaster theme" for it. Then, I create a "base map" by using the georaster theme created in the previous step. Up till now, both "georaster theme" and "base map" can be preview normally. After that, I create a "title layer" by using the "base map" which I created. However, only a write rectangle shown up when I preview the "title layer".
So, I wonder it is possible to make a map by using an image as it base? If yes, would you mind telling me how to make it done. And, what value should I input for the following parameter:
a) When I import an image in mapbuilder:
1) Top X coordinate , Top Y coordinate
2) X resolution, Y resolution
b) When I make a title layer:
1) Max X , Min X, Max Y, Min Y
2) Zoom in scale (Once I zoom in the image, the image is gone?? It's very strange)

Dimension = 288 * 175
Width = 288 pixels
Height = 175 pixels
Horizontal resolution = 72 dpi
Vertical resolution = 72 dpi
