Is it possible to work multiple scenario on a single agent

Sir,
Requirement is to upload data to a table (As sub format division of data file is there for a single file ) using a file Upload Open tool.
Though the data upload are specific to different tables but open tool java class invoke different file upload processes at same time so I use to derive the thing with different agent........
Can we use the same agent for different task which are going to be executed simultaneously?
actually I am unable to set my requirement so need to know what is the actual work of an agent and in which scenarios I will use different agent.
regards,
palash

  • Possibility of connecting multiple BW systems to single ECC system

    Hi all,
    I have a requirement in my company to connect multiple BW systems to single ECC system. Would like to confirm whether this may not be supported by all BW extractors in particular the delta mechanism?
    For logistics extractor in ECC side in RSA7 it stores BW System as target which shows they support multiple BW systems as target, but for FI extractors which keeps delta timestamps in BWOM2_TIMEST table, it doesn't store the target system. I'm afraid if we connect multiple BW systems to single ECC system, some of the delta records might go to one BW system and some others go to the other BW system when we execute delta load in both BW systems.
    Thank you very much in advance.
    regards,
    arie

    Hi,
    You can very well connect multiple BW systems to single ECC system and you will not miss any delta as well. In the source system for each delta data source a delta queue is maintained for each target system.
    for e.g. I have two BW systems ABW and BBW connected to AEC system then for 0FI_AP_4 data source we will have DQ1_ABW and DQ2_BBW as two different delta queues (I am not following any naming conventions, actual names will be as per the target system logical name).
    The settings maintained in BWOM2_TIMEST table are across the system and they define some global settings e.g. till what time the FI data should be extracted in BW system, for e.g. the time maintained is 2.00 AM then though you do extraction from multiple systems same data will be extracted till next time interval occurs.
    In summery you can very well connect multiple BW systems to a single ECC system.

  • Is it possible to install multiple AIR applications from single install?

    I've been asked to find a way to install multiple air applications in one install. Is this possible, or am I going to have to use a 3rd party tool like InstallShield?

    I guess it's possible to create a meta-installer, which fires up the individual installers using the command line. It's not the ideal way to do this, but it might work.
    Sample code to use the command line from within Flex:
    <fx:Script>
    if(NativeProcess.isSupported)
        var file:File = File.desktopDirectory;
        file = file.resolvePath("secondAirProgram.air");
        var nativeProcessStartupInfo:NativeProcessStartupInfo = new NativeProcessStartupInfo();
        nativeProcessStartupInfo.executable = file;
        var process:NativeProcess = new NativeProcess();
        process.start(nativeProcessStartupInfo);
    </fx:Script>

  • Is it possible to query multiple items in a single OPC read?

    I am trying to read several data items at one time via OPC. Is this possible? If so, how? I have tried passing multiple URLs to specific items and a single URL header with multiple variable names. Both methods return an OPC error about invalid items. I am trying to do this to speed up OPC access times. Reading each item one-at-a-time is a little time consuming for our application.

    The only way to read multiple datapoints via OPC is to build an OPC item that contains multiple pieces of information. I checked this here, and I had no problem reading an array of data from an OPC Server with DataSocket.
    I read the "opc:/Matrikon.OPC.Simulation/Random.ArrayOfReal8" data item from a Matrikon OPC Simulation Server that publishes an array data item. The OPC Demo server is available for free download at http://www.matrikon.com/opc/htdocs/simx.htm. You can read this as an array of doubles in LabVIEW.
    For your application all you will need to read your data multiple items at a time is a server that can publish arrays.
    Hope this helps.

    Sure. Print the first threee pages to PDF in landscape, the remaining seven in portrait, then combine them in Acrobat either by opening the first and inserting pages from the second or by using File>Create PDF>From multiple files.

  • Is it possible to add multiple charts in a single visualization?

    Hi All,
    I would like to know whether we can display multiple charts (line, column, etc) inside a single 'Visualize' screen.
    I am using:
    SAP Lumira
    Version: 1.15.1
    Build: 879
    This will help in situations where we need to compare 'month on month' values for sales and demand data to be displayed side by side instead of different Visualization screens

    Hello Balaji,
    You can schedule the reports at the same time and send the output on the e-mail.
    You cannot use Interactive View for viewing 5 outputs on the same time.

  • Is it possible to edit multiple songs simultaneously in iTunes?

    Does anybody know if it is possible to edit multiple songs in a single pass (by right clicking on all of them and then opening a single edit window or so?). I would like to be able to, for example, change the Genre of 50 songs from Electronica/Dance to Drum 'N Bass without having to do it 50 times over individually for each of the songs.

    I've done this before...by selecting the multiple songs, then right clicking and selecting "get info" from the list. You can then change things like the genre, album name, grouping, compilation (Y or N)...and other changes.

  • Passing multiple values to a single input parameter

    Hi folks,
    I have a Microstrategy query successfully passing input parameter to a calculation view.  For example I can pass a movement type to a material movements calculation view input parameter.  However if I try to pick more than one movement type the query then fails;
    Generated SQL that works looks like this;
    select
    sum(a11.TOTALQUANTITY)  WJXBFS1
    from
    "_SYS_BIC"."MyPackage/CA_TEST_PASS_PARAMETER"
    ('PLACEHOLDER' = ('$$MoveType$$', '101')
    a11
    When choosing more than one value in Microstrategy the SQL now fails and looks like this;
    select
    sum(a11.TOTALQUANTITY)  WJXBFS1
    from
    "_SYS_BIC"."MyPackage/CA_TEST_PASS_PARAMETER"
    ('PLACEHOLDER' = ('$$MoveType$$', '101'),
    'PLACEHOLDER' = ('$$MoveType$$', '103'))
    a11
    If I cut and paste the SQL and run directly in HANA studio the error is;
    Could not execute 'select sum(a11.TOTALQUANTITY) WJXBFS1 from "_SYS_BIC"."MyPackage/CA_TEST_PASS_PARAMETER" ...' in 66 ms 361 µs .
    SAP DBTech JDBC: [2048]: column store error: search parameter error:  [2018] A received argument has an invalid value;TABLE/VIEW parameter: ( 'PLACEHOLDER'='$$MoveType$$, 103') not supported
    Is it possible to pass multiple values in a single parameter?  I'm using SP67 for this test.
    Thanks,
    -Patrick

    Ravi, also to answer one of your questions about how this will work in Microstrategy; I just heard back from my Microstrategy developer and he is trying MSTR Freeform SQL query with syntax like this;
    select (sumPAR_TEST.TOTALQUANTITY TOTALQUANTITY
    from "_SYS_BIC"."MyPackage/CA_TEST_PASS_PARAMETER"
    ('PLACEHOLDER' =('$$MoveType$$', '[Movement Type]')) PAR_TEST
    In this example [Movement Type] is the microstrategy prompt.  Unfortunately though it translates like this which is missing extra single quotes around each value;
    select     sum(PAR_TEST.TOTALQUANTITY)  TOTALQUANTITY
    from     "_SYS_BIC"."development.pr1959/CA_TEST_PASS_PARAMETER"
    ('PLACEHOLDER' = ('$$MoveType$$', ''101', '102''))   PAR_TEST
    instead of what we need which is;
    ('PLACEHOLDER' = ('$$MoveType$$', '''101'', ''102'''))   PAR_TEST
    So at this point we are not sure if this will be possible or not.
    -Patrick

  • Multiple war file in single ear in ATG10.1.1 with JBoss

    Hi All,
    Is it possible to have multiple war files in single ear in ATG? I tried to deploy one but got some errors when. I tried this so that I can have a new site without altering existing crs.
    I have an ATG10.1.1 instance (Windows 7, JBoss-eap-5.1, Oracle 11gR2) with crs installed and running.
    I am not sure whether its a good practice or not. Please correct me if I am going wrong
    Here is the steps that I have done.
    1. Created new war file in CommerceReferenceStore (Copied existing store.war and renamed it to sample.war)
    <ATG_DIR>/CommerceReferenceStore/Store/Storefront/j2ee-apps/Storefront/store.war to <ATG_DIR>/CommerceReferenceStore/Store/Storefront/j2ee-pps/Storefront/sample.war
    then,
    a) Edited sample.war/WEB-INF/web.xml to add new context root.
    <context-param>
    <param-name>context-root</param-name>
    <param-value>sample</param-value>
    </context-param>
    b) Edited sample.war/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF
         Manifest-Version: 1.0
         ATG-Module-Uri: sample.war
         ATG-Context-Root: sample
    2. Edited <ATG_DIR>/CommerceReferenceStore/Store/Storefront/j2ee-apps/Storefront/META-INF/application.xml
    Added new web module
    <web>
    <web-uri>
    sample.war
    </web-uri>
    <context-root>
    sample
    </context-root>
    </web>
    3. Modified <ATG_DIR>/CommerceReferenceStore/Store/Storefront/META-INF/MANIFEST.MF to add new web module
    ATG-Web-Module: j2ee-apps/Storefront/store.war j2ee-apps/Storefront/sample.war j2ee-apps/Storefront/storedocroot.war
    j2ee-apps/Storefront/assemblerSearchResultsSample.war
    4. Deployed using cim
    From CIM, selected [3] Application Assembly & Deployment
    Entered ear file name - ATGProduction.ear
    Then select server instance - ATGProduction
    Select JBoss Server to use - ATGProduction
    [D] Deploy Production with a Server Lock Manager ATGProduction.ear to JBoss
    - Done
    [R] Register Datasources on JBoss - Done
    [A] Add database driver to app server classpath - Done
    [P] Post Deployment Actions on JBoss - Done
    And restarted server.
    When I tried to access crs/storeus, I got following error

    Thank you,

    Hi,
    This is not an issue caused by having multiple wars inside same ear.
    This looks like a runtime exception when trying to render the jsp (The jsp is compiled to a sevlet and the inside the service method of the servlet you are getting this exception). Double check you jsp for the possible cause of this exception.

  • Invoking multiple servlets from a single request

    Hi. I'm wondering if it's possible to execute multiple servlets within a single request and context. I have a servlet defined in web.xml which says:
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>firstServlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>mypackage.First</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>firstServlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>/*</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    (clearly this one gets invoked upon every request in the context)
    But I also have another servlet which gets invoked when another condition applies:
    <servlet>
    <servlet-name>secondServlet</servlet-name>
    <servlet-class>mypackage.Second</servlet-class>
    </servlet>
    <servlet-mapping>
    <servlet-name>secondServlet</servlet-name>
    <url-pattern>*.ftl</url-pattern>
    </servlet-mapping>
    So if the url was http://localhost:8080/mycontext/page.ftl, I want both servlets to get executed. Is there anyway I can do this? I've tried the above code and it doesn't work. How would I do this (or can I even do it)?
    Thanks,
    Dylan

    depending on what your servlets do, you might also think of using filters. say you have a first servlet that compresses the respone you would be better off to implement this as a filter. than you might have a second serlvet that does request logging stuff. this might also be better than in a filter, so you chain first and second filter. the business logic is put in servlet three i.e.

  • Multiple Layouts in a single JFrame

    Hi,
    Is it possible to have multiple layouts in a single JFrame ? What I need to do is that I need to have following components in a SINGLE content pane of a JFrame:-
    A) 2 Labels
    B) 1 Button
    C) 1 4x4 Grid of buttons
    Now implement (C) I need to use GridLayout for nide grid like looks like
    mContentPane.setLayout(new GridLayout(4,4));
    But (A) and (B) obviously shouldn't be part of Grid. So I assume I need to use different layout in the same content pane. Any idea how can I accomplish this ?
    Thanks

    import java.awt.*;
    import javax.swing.*;
    class Testing extends JFrame
      public Testing()
        setLocation(400,300);
        setDefaultCloseOperation(EXIT_ON_CLOSE);
        JPanel main = new JPanel(new BorderLayout());
        JPanel top = new JPanel(new GridLayout(4,4));
        for(int x = 0; x < 16; x++) top.add(new JButton(""+(x+1)));
        JPanel bottom = new JPanel();
        bottom.add(new JLabel("JLabel 1"));
        bottom.add(new JButton("JButton"));
        bottom.add(new JLabel("JLabel 2"));
        main.add(top,BorderLayout.CENTER);
        main.add(bottom,BorderLayout.SOUTH);
        getContentPane().add(main);
        pack();
      public static void main(String[] args){new Testing().setVisible(true);}
    }

  • Multiple OS on a single VM

    Is it possible to have multiple OS on a single VM? I want to use two window servers; therefore, do I need to buy two VMs or can I have both the servers on a single VM?
    Thank you!

    I've not confirmed it but it should technically be possible providing the hardware allows for nested VMs. E.g. I run a Windows Phone emulator (VM) on Windows running on a VM running on MacOS. However, a server as a nested VM sounds like a bad idea since
    your host VM will need to separate out resources so it will have be an expensive VM in the first place and probably negate all other advantages.
